  • Institute of Public Affairs’ Daniel Wild says the Labor government’s energy policy is “failing” which is why it keeps targeting Opposition leader Peter Dutton’s plans for nuclear.
“Energy bills are going up, blackout risk is going up,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“The only thing they have to talk about is Peter Dutton’s plan, not their own failing plan.”

Mrs Whitlam famously stated that inflation is a lot of hoo-hah.
Net Zero is economically destructive delusional insanity.
The LNP needs to make their official policy to withdraw Australia from the Paris accord and stop squandering taxpayers money and resources on uneconomical and unreliable renewable energy projects.

Arrhenius who described the greenhouse effect in the late nineteenth century opined that carbon dioxide emissions from human activity would have the beneficial effects of increased agricultural yields and postponement of the next glacial maximum. You can add reduced winter heating costs and fewer deaths from hypothermia.
Spending massive amounts of taxpayers money on subsidies for uneconomical and unreliable renewable energy projects to attempt to prevent small and largely beneficial changes to the Earth’s climate is delusional insanity.
We need to withdraw from the ridiculous Paris Accord and use the most economical energy resources available.

Coal power stations need to not only be extended but also replaced with new ones or blackouts and sky high electricity prices here we come. Stupid Labor wants them all to close within 10 years.

Yeah a first year Arts student isnt who you want in charge of the countrys energy. Nuclear is the best option for baseload in Australia. Renawables are fine but any suggestion they can cover baseload power needs isnt serious. And the environmental damage to install bowens crazy vision is to great. Time to give Labor the flick.

Wind farms and solar farms are a malinvestment. They are heavily dependent upon taxpayer funded subsidies and entail massive depreciation and maintenance costs.
      Em
Massive expansion of the power grid to accommodate this uneconomical and unreliable renewable energy equipment would entail further massive capital depreciation and maintenance costs.
Attempts at “climate mitigation “ are a colossal waste of taxpayers money and resources.
We should simply use the most economical energy resources available and focus on alleviating natural disasters, reducing poverty and adapting to any changes in climate.

A Commonwealth is designed to be greater than the sum of its individual parts, where the benefits to Citizens of the C'Wealth be positively geared to offset the cost of participation.

Nothing will happen if we don't except you all will not be poor and weak and easy to control.
So buy an ev, get $30,000 of solar inverters and batteries and after 10 years you will have to do it all again.
    Renewables are sooo cheap.

Net Zero is economically destructive delusional insanity.
It should be abandoned before more damage is done to our economy.
The carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels have the net beneficial effects of greening of the planet with increased agricultural yields (main effect), reduced winter heating costs, fewer deaths from hypothermia and postponement of the next glacial maximum.

The simple cost effective solution is to withdraw from the ridiculous Paris Accord and use the most economical energy resources available.
Net Zero is prohibitively costly, impractical and totally unnecessary. Mr Morrison made a grave error of judgement by signing Australia up for this nonsense in the first place. Both major parties have been more concerned with virtue signalling and colluding with ridiculous popular delusions rather than on improving this country.
