    This was awesome. I'm gonna practice this a lot! Also, I'm looking forward for "I Appear Missing". It made me excited when I heard it in the intro. Keep doing QotSA mate, it's all we need 😂

    I've been trying to learn this one after not picking up the guitar for over a year, I'm struggling with the transition from verse into chorus, especially Troy's part. Landing that initial 4 finger power chord clean is difficult, especially when trying not to accidentally mute the G string with my pinky. Then they throw in the hammer on harmonies in 2nd and 3rd chorus which is probably the most difficult section for me. Kudos and thanks for the lesson!

      Yeah it’s a really tough song tbh! You’ll get it though man, awesome you’re picking up the guitar again :) glad you enjoyed the lesson

    Awesome lesson, much appreciated mate! Do you happen to remember what you did with the tone for the little riff played at 7:06? Notes sound good but I'd love to know how you got it so screechy there.

    Does QOTSA do anything NOT in C Standard?

    • @dgguitars4091
      @dgguitars4091  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes a lot! From mainly lullabies and onwards, most of their tracks have become E standard, especially …Like Clockwork and Villians :)

      @@dgguitars4091 I’ve never fooled with it before now, but I’m really finding the C Standard tuning interesting.

    your lessons are waaaaay too long for simple rock songs. not know any theory? if you did you could explain the same song in three minutes instead of 30

    • @dgguitars4091
      @dgguitars4091  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The same reply to your other comment, it’s note for note, same as you see in other popular guitar lesson channels, I my self prefer this type of content but I understand it’s not for everyone, again thanks for the view

    • @sideshowblob
      @sideshowblob ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Upload a video of yourself doing that then. Explain how to play the song and all the theory in three minutes.
