from the people I've spoken to, they say this submarine is terrible, because it gets absolutely sealclubbed by destroyers and enemy submarines spotting it and revealing it, as it has a high detection and can be easily chased down with radio location, and it has very short range so they said most of the time you get bullied forever and can't do damage, or you have to suicide charge to get something out of it
What you've said is exactly what I was thinking. A French sub or Russian could easily seal club this DD. Also F**K Wargaming for getting rid of Community managers!! They would have told us this sub was a gimmick and "buyer" beware!

Moronic from Wargaming They need to introduce more ways to detect submarines or nerf their damage massively - that much damage potential on a ship so fast and hard to see. WG removed stealth firing in 2016, then adds this shit back... it's truly baffling The obvious solution is to give them a MUCH bigger detectability radius when surfaced or at periscope depth so that there's a real penalty to not being deep
So what is to stop one of these things from screaming across the map, submerging, and then shotgunning a BB in the face before that BB has even gotten out of their spawn? The only counterplay seems to be to Exit Game when the match starts after you see one of these on the enemy roster. Or, the quiet option, the mad full speed yolo in the first minute of the match. Hopefully, them being Steel means there won't be too many of them. But the goal now seems to be to get as many players to stop playing as possible. With the number of dual CV with dual SS and multiple hybrid games, the matchmaker is now pumping out, that seems to be the only explanation.
Because for it to go fast it needs to be on the surface or Parascope depth, meaning it is easily detectable by other Subs and DD's, if despite that you get shotgunned in spawn you deserved it ngl.
I can imagine how bad this be. already feel that submarines have no real reload topedo time but now with this submarine this submarine is really bad days for me to play when this be release will take a break from this game for long time because it is not fair play agans submarine thas is no only fast but that abnormal fast reload time really not funny.
@PigPissBeUponThem He might not be, but how many are. And they won't tell you they have gone. MatchMaking is already screwed up because so few are playing. Continual uptiers of no smoke T8 DDs to T10. Commonly against T10 DDs. You quickly get smashed, and start to reconsider your choices in life.
No sure why everyone is whining, the strength of Subs is being undetectable, if the ship is always on the surface or at parascope depth every other Sub and Destroyer will spot and destroy it before it ever does anything, WG needs to make it easier for 2 Subs to fight each other.
Plus, CV on CV needs to be way better. Get rid of CV automatic repair parties entirely, nerf CV AA and, when a CV is on fire/flooding, make it impossible to launch new planes and make all returning planes have a chance to be destroyed.
@@bonemeal_boi Personally i think all Plane Squadrons need a cooldown, you should have to use them like abilities and then have a designated Spotter squadron that is on a lower cooldown so the CV can actually do something while its Offensive squadrons are on cooldown. Plus it will give the AA in the game an opportunity to actually do something since currently non buffed AA destroys pretty much Zero of the Planes coming to attack you and even if it does another full squadron is on its way to follow up the attack anyway.

1st of all shotgun all day and do zero damage. 2nd it needs to be on the surface to be fast.
The best thing is that only best players are gonna get it, so you know it's gonna be a tough ride when this crap spawns on your flank
