Well, seems like today's video didn't go off without a hitch. The part where you only see the background image was supposed to be blank. Also Chopper, not Masher. Got it mixed up with Sonic 2's badnik that looks a bit similar. That's all. Have a great day and be safe everyone.

So I’m guessing the intro was an april fools joke since you know 06’ and also there is a DS port of this idk the year it released but its called sega classic collection and has sonic 1, 2, 3, &knuckles It also has knuckles in sonic 2 and knuckles in sonic 3

Labyrinth Zone Act 3 is the tricky one. The attempt where I ended up over Eggman is the one I wanted to be the best run. It would have been funny to show.

You know what’s really hard? Beating the Labyrinth Zone Act 3 boss without taking damage. I did it first try. No joke.

GBA: can play sonic advance series, a very detailed and well done sonic trilogy

I did play this game back from 2018, and holy shit I didn't even rage at the physics at all

Turning the music?
Yeah, so the GBA has no audio chip, so sound is handled all by the CPU. Not a normal thing for systems of this era. So when the music is off, the CPU has more horsepower to run the game properly.
I considered doing that for the challenge, but the slowdown was incredibly helpful, so it was to my advantage to keep the audio playing.
This got uploaded at the perfect time as well
I can't believe that this many people have decided to take a stance against PatMac for excluding Sonic Genesis from his Sonic ports list.

I feel bad for you man, imagine doing Scrap Brain Zone Act 3, or worse Labryrinth Zone... it gives me chills thinking about it.

Wasn't super difficult. Only 2 levels were real issues.
The restarting a save from a checkpoint was probably put there because it was a handheld game.
It's still really weird. Maybe because of how bad it this version is.

I needed the rings to damage boost and the game takes away all emeralds when you start from the stage select.

The tricky part is the game itself,it is 20% slower,so it might not seem much but it is a bit deal.
Yeah, but it's never consistent. It will change speed at points, so the player isn't guaranteed to be as prepared.

IKR! Why does everyone (I mean everyone except few people) say Sonic 2006 is the worst Sonic game ever!? At least that game had good framerate! And on consoles. Not to mention the fan remake coming! Sonic Genesis is just bad. And ridiculously slow is not what I want in a Sonic game! I will never play this game.

The GBA version has significant performance issues, terrible music, and suffers constantly from screen crunch. It's a terrible version of the game and it affects a without defeating a badnik playthrough. Though the terrible physics did have some benefits, as seen in the video.

Hang on, you didn't care about hitting the caterkillers to make their body parts fly away this time, but when you did the original game you didn't accept that and tried to find another way.
In the original video, I did that so it didn't seem like I was going to constantly damage boost. With this version, I don't trust the game's physics.
