I have friends that have some insane stand-ups and it took me a day of almost drowning to get it going and hop up to stand on, a whole lot of fun and the feeling of going 40mph on something you have no idea how to properly ride is the only way to live, I think I want something like these, it's like hot ice it's the best of both worlds.
Thank you for this video, it’s the reason I searched out and bought my 3D. This is my 3rd year riding my 2007 3D and I’ve become pretty comfortable and proficient on it. I ride it 95% of the time every wknd vs my 2009 GTX, no comparison in fun and physical demand to keep me in shape. This wknd it’s finally having the Shoq Pole Kit installed on it, so the fun intensifies although I’m pretty good riding Vert, so now able to ride it 5 ways.
Wonder why Seadoo stopped making them when they are so dynamically flexible. For me most of the current skis are too big and being limited to sit on only they turn me off a bit.
Здравствуйте, загорелся такой же моделью, скажите пожалуйста на что смотреть при покупке,на какие моменты обращать внимание,чтобы минимизировать риски при покупке...
i don't see what's wrong with it, because it has alot of options, so it's not a standup or a couch, but a bit of everything, because it also has a cart seat, and that is great, because it is realy like a cart, but then on the water, and the seat is very comfortable, so it's also great when you want to do some sightseeing, because you can sit for hours in that seat without getting tired. I have also a 3D and i bought it because it was new in it's crate, and redicliously cheap at 4500 euro's. I own it for 9 years now, and when i want to sell it, i get 3000 euro's back, so that's a brandnew jetski for about 150 euro's a year, so try that with any other ski.
the rest of the market, like the 3D, are boats, the original jet ski is/was a skateboard for the water, no other ski/boat/watercraft gets close to that balance, that's why many end up selling them before they understand what they bought, i.e. super heavy 800's, SJs etc. I suppose the 3D has the advantage of being a sit down utility boat as well.(I needed a tow last summer, bad starter, ancient 550) so I appreciate them (sit downs) as tow trucks for ever aging Kawasaki 440/550s. My tow truck is an ancient SC 650, Kawasaki product, people who can't ride stand ups love it, but to me it's a chase vehicle/mini boat.
Tim Ewa Standup riders should stop thinking the 3D is a stand up, because it's not, and what it is, i already told in my other comment. And again, the cart seat is realy great, because it's the only ski where you sit like in a real car(t), and that is realy comfortable, because instead to have to hang on the handebars so that you won't fall off from a runabout, you entire body is pushed into the seat, so you don't have to move a mussle, so you never get tired, So imo, seadoo did found a new way of riding a jetski after al, and what they should have done is get rid of the swingarm and just built a new ski with a single intergrated seat with suspension for al i care, because i'm sure alot of people would love a comfortable ride like that.
I recall SeaDoo built a sit down unit with a shock-absorbing unit, years ago, similar to Yamaha Wave Blasters, it was probably too aggressive/narrow for the sit-down market, can't recall the initials it was named by, but it was by far the fastest turning SD at the time.
Tim Ewa You mean the HX, and i own one of those too, ( and a kawa X2, so i own 3 ski's) but that is not what i had in mind, because you ride them like a motorbike so like al runabouts, and seadoo also has a few models with the entire deck mounted on shocks, but i would like to see a jetski that has a seat with a backrest, just like the cart seat fro the 3D, but then integrated into the ski.
as a die hard stand up guy, i would love one of these. i think they look pretty fun

An absolute blast to sit on the floor and drive it like a go-cart.
Viva Sea-Doo 3 D 👍. 10 years now and still crashing the waves .

How much is the shoq pole kit, does it make a big different?
I forgot about these skis.
Sad they don't make them anymore, guess i'll have to try and find a used one
We own a 2004.. It is so much fun...

Looks fun but underpowered.. maybe it’s just me..

Nice vid
Are the older models more fun cause they r smaller
yes way more fun, more parts available includeing aftermarket parts. and has more balls.
I don't know who to be more embarrassed for, the dude or Sea Doo.
