I want to do mini twist again so bad . My hair is shorter than yours. It only took me like 4 or5 hours. I had over 100 twists in my hair . I did them this past October . It was nice not having to do my hair for two weeks. . Eventhough I rolled them up in perm rods like 3 times. I did mine for a wedding. I watched WestAfricanbaby for inspiration
They are such a versatile style! I’m def doing to do them more often
@@KandidKinks Be careful if you are using only your own hair, cause twist don’t protect like braids and locs. Twists are almost like having your natural hair out and my hair starts to split when I leave it out.✌🏽

Love the results! I find it so interesting that everyone seems to be blowing their hair out now. It doesn't seem to be a problem for you at all, but I'm not sure my hair would do as well.
For me I find it easier to manage and faster to style as well

I love the video my hair is neck length it's a challenge to do my hair I also did the mini twist girl and it took about 3 hours to wash and twist I have type 4 hair ❤❤❤
3 hours isn’t bad! That’s the benefit of neck length hair 😭 but I don’t regret trying this.. def going to be running it back
I just took my mini braids out after 2.5 weeks, washed it 2x, and they were ready to loc. I want to loc but not now

I got long thick hair also and if u do it like i do it wont take a day. i prep the hair on day one and start the next day and it only take me like 8hrs probably not even that i could start at like 4 and would be done by 10:30-11ish

It took me 8 hours to do my mini twists, mainly because I can’t part my hair.
I’m terrible at parting frfr I’m convinced mine would look so much better if I was good at it. But I’m also so lazy 😭

unpopular opinion....a blow dry brush is better than the rev air on kinky thick hair....i know yall dont gotta agree with me...but thats what is real for me.
I used my revlon one step for yearssss before this so I get it.. this is honestly easier and faster to use for me. It’s ok to have different opinions though fr !
I use the revair then go over my hair with the revlon lmfao. I don’t like the brush for all the blow out duration.
@@KandidKinks yea i still am interested in trying the revair...but i see so many people that say they gotta use something else still...so i havent pulled the plug.
@@Aniexo_ i agree, i let my hair dry to like 90% before i use a drier on it. brushing can def cause issues.
I also think it depends on what you’re going for. My stylist told me that the RevAir doesn’t get the hair as straight at she would like when she’s going to do a silk press. And I totally get that. I see it more for stretching

You both are so beautiful 🤎. How many seconds did you hold the revair for each section and what was the settings ?. I'm doing also natural braids without extension these days and love it.
I use it on level 7 and 2. So the highest settings on both. And then probably 15-30 seconds per section
@KandidKinks thank you so much for answering. I will try that next time I use my revair. I was doing too much, 90 sec per section 😵. Definitely will try your method 👌🏾🙌🏾
