...holy....crap. My mouth had dropped open after the first half minute and stayed open until the end... That's some crazy skills, trust, and obvious training.
As an old fart who grew up with variety shows I love watching the 'got talent' shows from around the world. Often I find myself watching the acrobats/dance troupes and just thinking wow how far acrobats/dance troupes have come! And then I watch this and think wow they're even better. This was an amazing act with 3 amazing acrobats/dancers.
These people are amazing athletes. And I agree with Marcoy. There are so many unemployed people out there with incredible gifts - including athletic - that we need to get back to this kind of entertainment and see more of this.
È dannatamente eccitante vedere come la trattano! La considerano solo una bambola di pezza da prendere e sbatterla in giro per il loro solo piacere! Ma anche per il piacere di chi guarda
Amazing skill, control, training, fascinating to watch-but there's something the tiniest bit creepy or unwholesome about the vibe of the act. Another good one is the Ragamuffin Romeo dance section from the early talkie revue "King Of Jazz".
Thanks for posting. I have a signed postcard of Ms. Karina and it's a rare find. The apache dance is traditional, not for all tastes, I agree, but it featured in some movies like this one. I wonder which film this is? The styles suggest 1930s.
@@pronkerpronker6708 That's an amazing find. She was a beautiful, incredibly gifted woman and performer. It's nice to hear she still can be found in the strangest places. Take care of that picture it is indeed a rare find and i'm glad she is not forgotten.
This is a great clip. I collect films (like Soft Lights and Sweet Music) from the 1930s and 1940s which showcased variety acts. Where did you get this from, and is there any chance I could get a copy?

I'm sure it should demonstrate just how much trust exists between those people...

My first act was very similar, my teacher obviously knew the act well.

i'd love to be doing a duo with this girl anyday.
Io invece la vorrei vedere con un gruppo di uomini arrabbiati che se la prendono e passano di mano in mano senza nessuna pietà!
The bikini existed, years before it was named the bikini.
Yeah, this was even before the belly-button rule. Where the belly-button couldn't be shown and had to be covered.

Groucho Marx as the bartender?
CGI - Vfx
well what does this say about gender politics in the 1930s?
lol
Clearly they should have gotten Augustine and his orchestra rather than Ambrose.
i wish they'd just drop her :)
hmm must be painfull if they missed catching her...
cool and nice but not spectacular, 4/5 :)
Hey Lady, get out of that joint. I don't think these guys are into women.......
Invece penso che la prendono così proprio perché sanno come si trattano le donne! Spero che anche altre donne siano state prese così
Gee, for 1936, this was practically porn, LOL!
Fake
Yes, incredible acrobatics, but the choreography is really awful
