@@BustedKnucklesGarage1is your set also that clean and no scratches on the tools? Just curious, I’m heavy duty mechanic and our tooling usually looks wrecked and well used
I’ve had no bad warranty experience with any tool trucks at all. I also use the tool for the job so my tools don’t really break. I’ve had only had bad experience where I had to wait a very long time for a tool to come back and they didn’t even fix it right the first time
I will try. If I get one I will try to record it. We rarely ever do filter replacements but If I record the process I will tell you how to do the filter as well 👍
I need to find some good socket rails, my epiq 84 top drawer is full but if I can find some better socket rails I could condense a lot of it and make room for what I can’t keep in the box
The green organizer is from snap on but you can get the exact same one from harbor freight. The gray ones are from target in their bathroom section. 1 dollar each when I bought them 3 years ago so now they are probably a little bit more money
Great video, I’m in auto tech school right now and I’m getting ready to get into the industry. I’m looking to set up a big order of snap on tools through my school. What are your recommendations on the first essentials I should get from snap on since I’m looking into being a Toyota tech like yourself. Thank you
@westcoasttools5179 Thank you I appreciate it! I would recommend buying sets not individual sockets. Others might disagree but you never know when you need the other sizes so that being said, I would make sure to get 3/8 deep impact and 1/2 deep impact metric. Get a decent length flex head 3/8 ratchet. You can get away starting out just using that. As you progress and grow you will need more stuff as well. I have a video on essential tools for Toyota you can check that out and hopefully that helps. I’m looking to make another updated version of that soon so stay tuned for that as well!
@@BustedKnucklesGarage1 thank you very much I only have a certain spending limit so thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Keep up the good work on your channel I appreciate the content
Don't overpay for tools that carry a lifetime warranty. Do t fall for overpriced tools bro. Lots of redundant tools in that box. Just a man thing I know.
wish someone told me but eBay is such a good place to find used tool truck hand tools. sockets ratchets etc. really would invest in things you can’t find on eBay. save your money. only 22 but i pass my knowledge on.
Well snap on and knipex use material that’s rust resistant. I also clean them if I get water or brake clean on them. I also have silica packets in every drawer to absorb any possibly moisture in there
@BustedKnucklesGarage1 yes snap on pliers are bad about rusting lol. I coated all of mine in penetrol though, a semi permanent oil based clear coat kinda shit. Chemical resistant and now I dont ever have to worry about leaving them in the rain or anything
That’s a nice set of tools. I just have no idea how you keep them so clean, I even didn’t noticed scratches on the majority of tools. I have lots of tooling of the same brands as you have and mine are wrecked, they are not broken but look well used, like look at that air hammer it looks new, even molded cases look virgin. Even when I buy a new tool and after a month it looks used. So I’m not sure how you people keep your tooling that virgin.
If you look up close you will see the scratches. You don’t see them from up high but literally everything I touch the moment I’m done with it I wipe it down with tub o towels
@ then you need to do better cleaning job on your 10 inch knipex pliers as they look used lol. But I guess it is different world in automotive, I’m heavy duty mechanic and it’s greasy and oily here, I also wipe out my tools, not constantly though, mostly when they got covered in oil or grease and became too slippery or just dirty plus I don’t have much time even just put the tools back in tool box, not talking about wiping, plus some projects takes hundreds hours to finish so the tools just laying around the equipment as it’s time consuming to pull the tools from the box put the back and take out the load of same tools the next day
The material on the knipex pliers is a lot more different than the snap on ones. They don’t clean up as well as the snap on. And yes I will stay a couple minutes late to just clean
Thank you. If I borrow something once I buy it and I try to make sure I have everything I can possibly need so I don’t limit myself. I also work on many different manufacturers that require different stuff. Thanks for watching!

Mag rails from vim or cut the magnets out of the plastic container that the snap on sockets come in
Sweet boxes man! Just want to know, was that a 6 or 8 inch adjustable wide mouth wrench from snapon?
Thank you! I appreciate it! It is a 6 in adjustable wrench. ADHW6AG is the part number
