Hey Jay, I appreciate this video from you…I have bad depression and it’s sometimes hard for me to clear my head and think positive sometimes…I’m glad your so honest about this type of topic 🙏 🙏 ❤
I love these deep talk videos, especially from you. I tune into one of your videos literally everyday man, you're a great guy and you make videos that make people's days 🙌🏼
You know it takes courage and determination to make a video like this and I believe these two topics are important to talk about thanks for your perspective of these two important topics
Jay I LOVE these videos❤ please don’t stop making them from time to time. It’s been very hard recently but especially today and I really needed this! I know it may not mean a ton but you helped one person (more than likely more) but forsure one. Me. Thank you
I always struggled with self doubt. Feeling like there's something wrong with me for being quiet or not believing in my skills. But I had to learn to take my time and at least try. Do things one at a time then maybe things can change.
I think that's great advice. Biting off more than you can chew all at once is way too much for anyone. I'm glad you learned to do that. Cute profile picture. Is that a persona character?
Great video. There will always be a few small minded individuals too foolish or proud to admit things like this but those people sabotage their own lives by being that way.
Thank you for sharing this. I’ve struggled with clinical anxiety for much of my adult life (I’m 24). It’s exhausting and isolating-everyone talks about anxiety, but not everyone lives with it daily, even when life seems fine. Panic attacks, obsessive thoughts, and constant worry. It’s all shameful and dysfunctional for me, even with a support system. Some days, I don’t even want to wake up to face it again. It’s hard to explain and even harder to be understood. But I’m learning to persist despite running away from people and opportunities because I couldn’t cope with it. Anxiety might always be a part of me, but it doesn’t have to define me. To anyone struggling, stay strong-you’re not alone. I wish you the best. ❤
I'm in a very similar boat. Same age. Same symptoms. Whether it was the medication or sheer will, I beat the panic attacks. IT'S POSSIBLE. I hope you can beat it too. Doctors haven't been able to figure out what my scary and dangerous feelings symptom is but I have to remind myself to be thankful the panic attacks are gone. Nobody knows what they're like unless they've dealt with it. I do not wish them on anybody. Stay positive friend. A healthy mind will conquer all. We just have to get to that point.
I used to watch you to see Spider-Man's butt cheeks, but these personal videos are genuinely helpful. I don't know you, but I relate to a lot of things you say in these videos. You made me think about a lot of things, even a reason or two to keep fighting. Thank you for being a Robin Williams today.
Anxiety and depression are serious issues that not a lot of people like to think about, but it's super necessary to bring up, especially with men! Women are mostly more open about their problems, for the most part
i feel worthless and to be honest I still see myself this way, but I basically shut myself off from life for so long before because I had nothing, nothing until recently where I found friends online that have made me feel a tiny bit of worth, I want to feel like I’m worth something so I try to focus it into my creative work, but I’ve always been my worst enemy with that and every failure has chipped at me, I’m trying again to make my own stories and I’m doing great so far with my friends support, but I can’t help feeling like if I fail I am a failure and I’ll always be one, maybe that’s my fate but I still wish to try if it is, sorry I went on so long I don’t get this stuff out much
It's good to get it out. Sometimes it makes you think about why you think these things too. Failing once doesn't mean you're a failure though. I think you can persevere.
I hope you make more videos like this cuz I never get tired of listening to them. Sometimes I go back and listen to the one you posted back in the beginning of 2021 cuz they really help
Thank you for making tis video, really is good to see the human side of a youtuber, many of us struggle with the same things and it's nice to see feel comfortable enough to open up, great video man :)
I grew up with someone from that era of holding it in they raised me I’m 29 now and I understand about growing up using certain words that if you said now you’d probably get banned or kicked out of a place for talking to people that way i also completely understand what you mean it’s easy to bury it and use vices ( whichever drugs , smoking, drinking etc ) to dull it down or simply put it away until it comes crashing out through anger or self harm I won’t go into details but I have good days I have bad days I had gotten diagnosed with cancer about 2 years ago right after I was finishing up my degree at community college I’m in remission right now but even before that I had confidence issues self worth issues and right now I’m just taking everything day by day just trying to boost myself up and go get a job go out and do my thing this video spoke volumes and it’s good to hear from someone else thank you stay making those videos I’m subscribed to you and magical Jill I love to watch them keep up the good work !
I always felt like people who open up about these kinds of issues and struggles should not have to worry about coming across as egotistical… or like they have all the answers… everyone has their own perspectives .. and sometimes you don’t get a complete understanding of a picture or situation… without looking at it from a different angle .. so it’s always welcome imo to hear a different interpretation of a situation or experience…
I struggle with this stuff too. Lately my irritability has been not so good. This reminds me of Batman Arkham Knight of Joker telling Batman to kill and give in. We can't let the Joker win. So we have to keep fighting the good fight!
I heard a pastor one time say "The Bible says 'Jacob He loved, but Esau He hated', if you look at Jacob's life, God beat him half to death every day of his life, yet Esau got almost everything he wanted." While I don't know if I 100% agree with how much we know about Esau's life, I believe in what he's talking about. The more suffering that we go through in life (I'm, of course, not talking about self-inflicted suffering, but suffering from life), the more we know that YHWH, the God of the Bible, is shaping us into what He wants us to be. Metal cannot become a sword until the metalworker puts it in fire and beats the crap out of it.❤
Also completely off topic to the subject of this video but would you ever consider doing a 4K or physical media collection video? Would love to see that as an avid blu ray/4K collector

it will always control me unfortunately. been alone since i was a teenager, touch-deprived and severely depressed, etc.
