What I hear a lot of TH-camrs do is use video game music. Although not all video game music is safe to use. And who knows, maybe one day most video game music will be registered in the content id system, which is a scary thing to think about. Imagine the billions of copyright claims on videos. Ubisoft music is guilty of this. Imagine all Nintendo music getting in the content id system.😰
here's how i've seen someone 'beat' ContentID: they created several tracks of THEIR OWN music from scratch, copyrighted all of them, put all of them into ContentID, and they use EVERY SINGLE ONE in every video they produce, no matter what, so EVEN IF contentID flags their video for revenue share for something else, that something-else will only get 1/5th or 1/6th or 1/11th of the share depending on how many of their own copyrighted music they put in their own video.
Dude, the timing on this video is impeccable for me. I'm looking for music and I wanted to do it by the book by buying licenses for popular songs. Also, I'm happy for this channel. First video I saw from you was the ludwig one and I ended up watching a handful of other videos here from start to finish. I think your floor has risen and will keep rising. Have a great day dude.
Did EU allow adblockers now? I've been using UBlock for a bit and, from time to time, I'm still getting the video player showing ads or being not functional. I'm from spain, EU, btw
I am really into japanese music, but man is that song absolutely terrible. the most chaotic white noise of a composition that just gives you a headache.
I immediately slide the price range to 0.00 when I use creator music. I'll never pay for a license and I will never rev share. I'd rather just pay for Epidemic sound if I were to pay for some music. Good video, man!
Just a tip that I noticed. When I looked around your channel after watching the Ludwig video, the videos that stuck out to me were ones that I notice in my use of TH-cam. I would recommend to play into major problems of TH-cam or any other community.
This isn't technically related but I find it super funny that by pure coincidence I started watching this RIGHT after I attempted to upload a mashup of two songs, from bands I've previously uploaded music from with no problem, and it got rejected three times so I gave up.
I said this on your most recent video, but am trying to say here as this comment may not get lost as easily here. I think you should try and focus lots of creative time on purely finding a good genre along with topic which you currently do, and ruling one out before researching a lot. Maybe even add basic 3d graphics to the videos like some professional "research" or "documentary" youtubers do. Maybe go into history or geography, I feel you might find an overlapping audience if you try a couple spaced out videos on the genre. Another suggestion of a genre to attempt is informative science or technology related videos, same case with overlapping audiences to your current format. Another thing I think you should try and sound more confident, loud and informed, and also work on your slight speech impediment. Obviously these are minor things to adjust especially in the beginning, I think if you try and go professional these factors might carry you a long way. I also saw your video on how you think a thumbnail "killed" your channel. I think thumbnails are a very important factor, and though I have no direct opinion on such a subject, maybe you should speak to a graphic design professional to get some tips based on the style of videos you make that will catch your type of viewers. Anyways, I wish lots of luck for you man, and I hope you see this. I am not a youtuber btw, so take what I say as a light suggestion.

@@ToonyTalesX I just told you. Making music is incredibly easy- just open your DAW of choice (LMMS in my case), download some free instruments off the internet, and you're set.

I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to try something like that. Shame bc their music usually has the most nostalgia factor.
@@jhxc64 Toby Fox's music has already been shunted into copyright hell thanks to content ID abuse, same with some... FNaF sound effects???? What.
@@jhxc64 Old School Runescape (and maybe Runescape3, not sure) is all free to use, which is why you hear it a lot in a wide variety of videos

i enjoy whenever you cover topics related to youtube, i feel both very informed and inspired whenever you do

Wait wtf the licenses expire????? That’s so incredibly stupid
Great video, this is interesting as I remember this being announced then hearing nothing of it since
I really enjoy the way you explain stuff in your vids!
finding incredibly obscure 2000s bms songs and using them would unironically be better than the creator music library
When I find a topic I wanna make a video on, I'll legit just make my own music, as you suggested. Probably easier than dealing with ContentID.
In one million i was with you and now I'm with you we will always be with you keep going bro 💪💪💪💪
