For anyone wondering where she has disappeared to, she had made a patreon update about facing some struggles. Hoping the best for her prompt return, best wishes 💕
Honestly the dress looks like a vintage Christmas card, and it's seasonally beautiful, I wouldn't be surprised if you get asked to loan it for a Christmas parade float, next year.🎄
I love I’m watching this way out of season but also, I’d love to have a print or a mock vintage fashion plate of this to display with my vintage Christmas stuff 🥹❤ it’s so delightful
'Half the time I also can't understand what I'm talking about, and that's why I was given eyes.' 😂 Very relatable. What a gorgeous dress! It's just the perfect mount of tacky and sparkly and delicious. It's absolutely the most and I would defend it with my life, green center back zipper included.
I cannot tell you how excited I got seeing that gorgeous thumbnail and then reading the title of the video. Instantly knew that this was going to be a great addition to the series of holiday gowns!
It is obnoxiously sparkly and festive, and there needs to be more of that in the world today =D I wish there were more events that allowed more freedom to mash up modern and historical looks to create fantastical things.
HOLY CHRISTMAS BATMAN, THIS ONES A BOMBSHELL DRESS ON A BOMBSHELL LADY!! you. Are. Amazing. I hope you are so so proud of yourself, because this is incredible and the hours that went into design , making, filming and editing is so apparent.
There is something so satisfying about watching someone who is a master of their craft go through such a complex process and half the time just doing it based on intuition. SUCH a beautiful outcome Angela!!!!! I am a very very novice sewist and I am about to embark on a super basic project that feels daunting to me so watching you do this elaborate multilayered process is making me feel like I can do my relatively simple project if that makes sense. Thank you for sharing your beauty and skills with the world! Happy holidays!!!
Last year's dress was fun, but this is honestly beautiful!! So gorgeous, you look like a Christmas painting come to life. And you made me laugh when you said "yea the zipper is visible but this is a dress decorated with things from Michael's, get real"
Sending you love and hoping you are doing well. I keep checking in, watching for you to return, and I hope you know that most of us totally understand that sometimes we all need to step away and regroup.
Hi Angela. I don't know if you will see this message. I hope everything is all right with you. It's been quite some time since you've posted a video and I hope you are alright. I miss your videos. You are such an amazing costumer, and I would love to see more videos from you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones. 😄
We have a Christmas project!! 🥳🥳 I will forever be impressed by your ability to combine so many different materials and make them work like they've always belonged together! Bravo.
Hello dear (meaning Angela), I miss your videos. Hope all is well. I saw your collaboration with Morgan and realized you haven’t posted in a while. I miss seeing your videos and work. Please come back when your ready. All the love.
I love the outfit as someone said “HOLLY CHRISTMAS BATMAN, THIS IS A BOMBSHELL OF A DRESS” even me Dad said it was cute as cute can be😹😹yep we both don’t celebrate Christmas anymore but we do love what others create at this time of year.🤗🤗🤗🤗
I think it’s absolutely gorgeous! One of my favorites. I wish you would sometime post still photos of you in all the Christmas dresses in chronological order. Actually it would be cool to do that with all the seasonal costumes. If you did that, it would make an awesome poster!
It simply would not be Christmas if I didn't get to see you making your Christmas costume. Every year I think, "There is NO WAY it will be better than last year!" And here we are at the most fabulous costume yet!! Thank you so much for sharing your special Christmas project each year and Merry Christmas to you, Angela!
Hope you're doing well Angela! We miss you but come back when you feel good to come back. In the meantime it's time for an Angela Clayton Video Sewing EXTRAVAGANZA!!
I lost it at 17:09 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I feel like you can see what I'm talking about even if you can't understand what I'm talking about, half the time I also can't understand what I'm talking about and that's why I was given eyes. It's the quips like these that are so distinctly Angela.
I have such respect and admiration for you. You take these complicated ideas and actually see the results at the end through your hard work and experience. It’s so hard to do that in life In other areas. This brings me cheer in that way, and in the Christmas way!
Very beautiful! As I am listening to this I am also watching Judy Garland in “Meet me in St. Louis.” Give yourself a treat and watch that, each piece of clothing is just so detailed…..just lovely 💕🌲
This costume is amazing. The textures alone are incredible. It looks so tactile and interesting. I love the gorgeous vibrant colours. The work that went into the garlands was totally worth it. The completed garment is incredible. I adore the cut of the bodice. and the spiral of garland "around" the skirt. The construction of the skirts is so involved it still blows my mind you're self-taught. I wish you had a picture of you in it with your green hair!
Honestly this is my favorite and considering the quality of the other holiday dresses that's a tough choice! Everything about this is gorgeous. The cut, the color balance ! Everything! When I imagine a Christmas dress in my mind it pales in comparison to what you've made
One thing that always impresses me about your extravagant dress projects is that they are always SO OVER THE TOP... But you have such a good eye for balance and density of decoration that the end result is always so cohesive and polished. I never think your designs look tacky. They are gaudy in that they are ostentatiously decorated, but not gaudy in the 'tasteless' sense. Tastefully ostentatious :D
God, that dress is absolutely stunning! It is the most perfect blend of historical and fantastical, I absolutely love how it turned out. It's so pleasing to look at, and wonderfully sparkly, and I wish more over the top fantastical dresses were in the world, they're so beautiful. You did an absolutely wonderful job! Hope your holiday season is as magical as your christmas dress. 🌟
It IS tacky and obnoxious....but in typical fashion, in the best way imaginable! I love how you take the tackiest and most obnoxious aspects of Christmas decorating and elevate them into something spectacular. Also looking very Marilyn Monroe in those gloves and blonde wig! The photos are just lovely and I bet it sparkles beautifully in the wild~
Angela. This project is giving Martha May Whovier! It is incredible. You always go over the top and are an icon and hero when it comes to beading I have to bead and embellish a project coming up and I just keep repeating what would Angela do!
The thumbnail of the video showed already how detailed and complicated the dress looked so the first thing I thought was 'she is crazy'. The dress looks the right kind of glitter/tackyness combined with a historic (inspired) siloutte and modern colouring/fabric/details, that makes it look weirdly pretty. I like it!
Poofy and sparkly in all the best ways. Loved seeing how you overcame the problems as they came up. You can't do something like this without modifying as you go. Merry Christmas.
Your Christmas costumes are always jaw dropping gorgeous and this is no exception! This dress is stunning both in how it looks and in how much work you put into it!
honestly when i saw thumbnail i thought "is this "Barbie in a Christmas Carol" inspired costume?" and i don't know if this was intentional but HOLY POTATOES! the vibe! its like it came straight out of christmas fairytale this dress is absolutely stunning and gorgeous and so christmasy and just like aaaaaaaa
Just looking at the green sequin fabric and red dotted fabric together to form the ruffles, I'm reminded of those hard Christmas candies all grandmas are known for having. I love it
Angela Clayton, putting down 3 inches of washi tape: and this is why I dont need to pin 30 miles of dress... you are a legend, a master of the craft. Also A.C. : No tacking whatsoever on miles o ruffles, just shoving the material under the machine, perfectly even outcome. You are awsome!
I’m so glad this popped up two days after Christmas for me because I’ve got the post Christmas blues and I’m not ready for all things red and green and sparkly to be over yet, thank you so much
I wasn't sure if I was going to like it at first, but it has a nice shape and the colors and the fabric all mesh well together. I've never seen anything like this, and I find it stunning.
This is so cool, it's totally both tacky and obnoxious and sparkly and delicious! I mean tacky and obnoxious in a good way though- like it stands out, it's over the top, it's creative, it commits 110% to the idea, it says yes to trimming and details and says "oh no no, we don't do boring here." This is something I particularly love about your costumes in general.
every single year you outdo yourself. i think this def is obnoxious but i mean, it's christmas. what part of the holiday isn't? you looked absolutely stunning and very festive
I think it looks like a fantasy come to life. I love how you bought stuff you thought was pretty and turned them into something even prettier. Thank you for a dose of inspiration and motivation.
If you were to walk into a room, I would immediately walk up to you in aww, and ask so many questions and be so impressed that you made it. Keep inspiring.
WOW!! What a beautiful, awesome, gorgeous, gown! I am envious of how beautiful you look in this gown. Your design, really showed off your vision and talent. You are the Belle of the Christmas Ball! You are a great inspiration.
Oh, my. Truthfully, my baby kitten fell asleep in my lap, and I wanted to hold her, so I cruised through YT, and your incredible dress stopped me in my scrolling tracks. It is simply amazing. I really like the green zipper. I can't remember exactly, but it was one of the little women dresses in blue that is my favorite of your work, and this one can easily stand proudly beside it. May you and your family have a beautiful celebration in this season of peace, and the upcoming new year see all your dreams come true. I can't sew much more than a kind of straight seam, but my sewing machine is my most prized possession. There's something so satisfying about the coming together of an idea to fruition, and peaceful through the actual sewing process. You are one of my favorite channels. Thanks for all the sharing, Patricia
Absolutely beautiful creation. Definitely sparkling and magical! And don't you dare let someone tell you the green mesh, sequined fabric looks like garbage bags! It's gorgeous.
You look stunning! That dress is EPIC! You've outdone yourself, again! The video doesn't really fully give justice to the enormous amount of time, work, effort and skill that went in to that dress! But we get an inkling. Well done!!!
It looks amazing! You did a great job working with all the difficult lines and materials. It really did come out wonderful and I'm sure it was a lot of fun to make, if not a bit frustrating at times. Making your own garland was definitely worth the time, it's the perfect amount of fullness and sparkle. Loved the matching headpiece too, it finished it off perfectly :)
The gown looks spectacular!! I love that it is a spiral! 😮 And watching you add all the ornaments and seasonal decorations was very lovely and made me feel all Christmassy. 🥰🎄
The dress looks amazing. You look amazing. After all the trouble you had with it, the finished object looks like shimmery, glittery, baubly fun! Thank You for sharing it with us.
Angela, you have definitely outdone yourself! Each dress just gets better and better. This one is absolutely amazing. I think it's vintage and spectacular. I love the sparkle. The whole dress is magical.
Holy snap. This is amazing. Your creativity for these holiday/seasonal projects always leave me very impressed and a little intimidated. Amazing finished product. It's glittery and perfect. Well done!
Spectacular really is the perfect word for it, it looks so good :) I love all the glitz and sparkle. Also, don't feel bad for using a zipper. Comfort outweighs accuracy, at least in my mind; and honestly, who would even look at that zipper when there's sparkling baubles everywhere? ❤️
For anyone wondering where she has disappeared to, she had made a patreon update about facing some struggles. Hoping the best for her prompt return, best wishes 💕
Thanks for the update
Im so thankful you took the time and wrote this. Wish you beautiful holidays and sending Angela virtual hugs. Be well. Greeting from Europe
Thanks for the update. I know she has had health issues in the past and thought it might be that. Sending Angela all the best of health for 2024 ❤️🩹
Thank you @SwimminginSunlight for letting us know.
Wish all the best for you Angela if you see this.
Thank you, truly! ❤
Honestly the dress looks like a vintage Christmas card, and it's seasonally beautiful, I wouldn't be surprised if you get asked to loan it for a Christmas parade float, next year.🎄
I second the Victorian Christmas card!
@@lilacangelblue2404 YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

“You have to have confidence in your ability to fake it.” -Angela Clayton, Christmas Day, 2022
'Half the time I also can't understand what I'm talking about, and that's why I was given eyes.' 😂 Very relatable.
What a gorgeous dress! It's just the perfect mount of tacky and sparkly and delicious. It's absolutely the most and I would defend it with my life, green center back zipper included.
@Angela Clayton Hope you are doing well. Miss your content & you are being thought of. Take care.
Obnoxiously in the best way though, right?
HOLY CHRISTMAS BATMAN, THIS ONES A BOMBSHELL DRESS ON A BOMBSHELL LADY!! you. Are. Amazing. I hope you are so so proud of yourself, because this is incredible and the hours that went into design , making, filming and editing is so apparent.
Angela are you coming back I miss you. I love your videos. For someone so young I have learned so much from you
I hope I find you well? I miss you...❤ Sending you love my dear. May blessings be under your feet and always be given by your hands.

Why get a Christmas tree when you can BE THE CHRISTMAS TREE???? Outstanding!!! I squealed when I saw the thumbnail! Merry Everything, Angela!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍
I think it’s absolutely gorgeous! One of my favorites. I wish you would sometime post still photos of you in all the Christmas dresses in chronological order. Actually it would be cool to do that with all the seasonal costumes. If you did that, it would make an awesome poster!
Ooh, a calendar! With sewing tips!
Love to see this fabulous creation in candle light mode for full sparkle ✨️
She should definitely do a retrospective/ranking list at some point. Or at the very least a Throwback Thursday post on Instagram.
Seriously I cannot wait until Angela has her own costume exhibition at the met in the next decade. ❤
You having a dog named Ruffles would be very appropriate, and very, very inconvenient. Happy holidays!
It’s absolutely Christmas magic! Amazing job!
Hope you're doing well Angela! We miss you but come back when you feel good to come back.
In the meantime it's time for an Angela Clayton Video Sewing EXTRAVAGANZA!!
I lost it at 17:09 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I feel like you can see what I'm talking about even if you can't understand what I'm talking about, half the time I also can't understand what I'm talking about and that's why I was given eyes.

You could upstage Mr. Worth! This creation is magnificent!
I have such respect and admiration for you. You take these complicated ideas and actually see the results at the end through your hard work and experience. It’s so hard to do that in life In other areas. This brings me cheer in that way, and in the Christmas way!
Sewsteen was wrong! The fabric does not look like a garbage bag! You aced this project! Enjoy your dress this holiday season!
Very beautiful! As I am listening to this I am also watching Judy Garland in “Meet me in St. Louis.” Give yourself a treat and watch that, each piece of clothing is just so detailed…..just lovely 💕🌲
Oh my goodness! 😱❤️ It looks amazing!! I was waiting and hoping for your annual holiday video 🎄🎁
I mean this as the BIGGEST compliment: You look like the christmas aisles of Micheal's threw up on you. Great job!!!
It's your most gorgeous christmas dress so far! you really really outdid yourself this year.
This costume is amazing. The textures alone are incredible. It looks so tactile and interesting. I love the gorgeous vibrant colours. The work that went into the garlands was totally worth it. The completed garment is incredible. I adore the cut of the bodice. and the spiral of garland "around" the skirt.

I think it's fabulous! You are so innovative in solving issues as they arise. I'm in total envey of your talent. Awestruck. 💖🌞🌵😷
Honestly this is my favorite and considering the quality of the other holiday dresses that's a tough choice! Everything about this is gorgeous. The cut, the color balance ! Everything! When I imagine a Christmas dress in my mind it pales in comparison to what you've made
I miss this channel so much I miss her so much I hope she's ok
Thank you for answering the sitting question
“ that is how committed I am to both you and procrastination” hahahahaha. Yes!!!!
The dress is sparkly, Christmassy and quite cool.
It's glorious! Sort of historical Holiday Barbie vibes, I love it :)
I'd like a video on how to clean and care for fancy historical dresses/clothes. They are beautiful but care advice would be very interesting
God, that dress is absolutely stunning! It is the most perfect blend of historical and fantastical, I absolutely love how it turned out. Looks like it would win a Whoville historical society award. (Which to me is a beautiful thing. I'm in awe and I showed my momma)
An Excellent gown that combines Nostalgia, Elegance and Kitsch for a holiday that is everything.
I make heavy duty backpacks, and canvas projects. I wish I had the talent to sew projects like this.
I like it!
LOL! "Let me reiterate, that is annoying." I love you!
Absolutely Brilliant! You are truly blessed. To be able to see it, create and accomplish is a gift.
This is absolutely adorable! You look like you're at a very elegant, historical, high society Xmas ball!So much fun!
You may not see perfection. But the rest of us surely do! Merry Christmas, and a very happy New Year to you!
I love this so much. It is my favorite dress you have made. Not just out of the Christmas dresses, but out of all the things you have made.
Has anyone seen or heard from Angela? Its been a long time since she posted anything. Hope she is ok
Poofy and sparkly in all the best ways. Loved seeing how you overcame the problems as they came up. You can't do something like this without modifying as you go.
Merry Christmas.
This outfit is so perfect! It would make Martha may whovier jealous
Your Christmas costumes are always jaw dropping gorgeous and this is no exception! This dress is stunning both in how it looks and in how much work you put into it!

Amazing, you have an incredible talent…and look absolutely gorgeous in this dress..
This is amazingly beautiful! I'm getting serious Holiday Barbie and Hello Dolly vibes with this in the best way! ❤️❤️❤️

Gorgeous someone mentioned that it looks like a classic Christmas Card and I agree
Wow! Truly a masterwork of whimsy and elegance! Who knew those concepts went together?
I love that 🎄 that you have up in the living room
every single year you outdo yourself. i think this def is obnoxious but i mean, it's christmas. what part of the holiday isn't? you looked absolutely stunning and very festive
I think it looks like a fantasy come to life. I love how you bought stuff you thought was pretty and turned them into something even prettier. Thank you for a dose of inspiration and motivation.
It is obnoxiously sparkly and delicious! Your Christmas projects are one of the things that inspired me to start sewing.
I vote for tacky in the best possible way. It's not something you'd wear to the grocery store but for a theatrical costume, I think you nailed it.
it is off the chain. one of my favorites to date. kudos.
The swirly over skirt reminds me of a snail shell. A Christmas snail. I love it.
I saw the thumbnail and whispergasped "Angelaaaa" and clicked so fast! Its beauuuuuuuuuuuuuutiful

Absolutely beautiful creation. Definitely sparkling and magical! And don't you dare let someone tell you the green mesh, sequined fabric looks like garbage bags! It's gorgeous.
Honestly, when I first saw it I thought the green sequined material looked like green tinsel! Love how this turned out!
This video is an excellent Christmas gift!
You look stunning! That dress is EPIC! You've outdone yourself, again! The video doesn't really fully give justice to the enormous amount of time, work, effort and skill that went in to that dress! But we get an inkling. Well done!!!
this looks so cool! happy holidays everyone :)
SPECTACULAR is actually an understatement! This is AMAZING and you look beautiful!!! Thank you for this, Angela!
The dress is pure Christmas but let’s talk about your makeup and hair style to go along with it! You are a beauty💐
It's wonderful it really gives ghost of Christmas presents or past.
Wow this is absolutely gorgeous! I'd be so excited if I ran into someone wearing a dress that spectacular!
I just read the whole Lady Sherlock series and I imagine this is how her clothes look. I love it.
One of my favorite dresses you have made! This is simply amazing, highly ornate, and absolutely perfect for Christmas.
Your closet must be amazing with all the gowns! The dress is amazing and not tacky
The gown looks spectacular!! I love that it is a spiral! 😮 And watching you add all the ornaments and seasonal decorations was very lovely and made me feel all Christmassy. 🥰🎄
I was so excited to see this video come up. It's always a pleasure to see what you create for Christmas. The dress looks fantastic!
This dress is actually gorgeous. Definitely over the top but it really looks great! I love the spiraling decorations!
