Any tips or video on picking up the sections on the grids? I am getting wrinkles. Unsure if it is the epon or the way I am picking up the sections. Appreciate any help.
I often use a "Chien" grid (a grid of just the rim, no bars) as a loop, to pick up the sections and transfer them to the grid. I find this helps reduce the wrinkles.
My textbook had surprisingly little information about the actual operation of this instrument. Great video.

what is the thickness of these thin films?
Thickness is based on the section color. Pale gold to silver is usually in the 60-80nm range. Thanks for the question!
