The 'rocking microtome' is a simple, inexpensive and very effective tool for sectioning paraffin-wax embedded tissue samples. I use mine for plant tissues, e.g. stem & leaf cross-sections.... The design is of the original 'Cambridge Microtome' - a modern reproduction of course although originals are still available to buy and working perfectly!

Hi John B. i'm so interested in this method. Can you give me the way to prepare sample for cutting by this microtome ? :)
