All this software features can be add via firmware version like korg is doing memory expanding via firmware update
Very cool demonstration …
Thank you. I know it just came out, but nobody else is pointing out the improvements over the sx900.
The Yamaha key size has always been 95% the size of a true full octave…. A really nice key bed of 73 or 76 keys would be a great option
That’s how they push you to buy Genos 😀😀
@@chiradeepg unfortunately the Genos is also only 95 % true octave width.
Your comment prompted me to carefully measure the length of an octave on several of my keyboards. Here's the result: These have a full 6 1/2" standard octave: 3 Korg keyboards, Kawai, Novation, and Sequential keyboards. Slightly shorter at 6 13/32" is a Casio arranger keyboard. The shortest octave is my Yamaha PSR at 6 11/32". The Casio is 98.56% of full size, and the Yamaha is 97.6% of full size.
I found something on Yamaha s own website
PSR size 15.9 cm
CLP size 16 .4 cm
Very similar to your own findings
Don’t get me wrong.., I like Yamaha (own a few), but this more like a 9.2 instead of a 920. Kinda seems like a cash grab honestly.
I think the main upgrade is only at the dynamics style. Because you can control the loudness of style played. But for the rest.. its not worth of money for 2000$
Can u compare with Korg Strings Sound for sweetness?
Which has better Organ patches between SX 900 & SX 920 ? SX 920 has more added Organ sounds? I love to play more on very nice Organ patches.Thank you.
I think sx920 has more organ and accordion patches but not sure about their quality.
Small incremental additions. I think Yamaha has run out of ideas.
Yes, I was expecting something different. Only RAM is 2GB. It felt like they patched the rest of the SX900 and released it. YAMAHA should open a comment, request, R&D page for such arrangers on their website.
yep and the price is 2727 Euro by the way
Can the PSR SX920 be used as a USB audio interface, while connecting to iPad or Mac ?
Nope! The Keyboard is not for that. You can connect das Keyboard an PC or Mac but not as a USB MIDI KEYBOARD
It would be good for some new drum kits I've been hearing the same since tyros generation and edit drum kits on keyboard instead of using a computer other and a loop button for midi rec and a guitar input than it will be a perfect keyboard
Que en 2024 un teclado de este precio no tenga aftertouch es un gran fallo.
Any of these come with weighted 76 or 88 keys ?
Hello, do you have an estimated arrival date for the Yamaha PSR E483 model? thanks.
Does this keyboard has a patch remain already?
what about audioDrum??
I own SX900 and very happy with it. I could not see any better feature other than RAM. Not worth of calling as an upgrade.
Yes it's true
Sir I am visually disabled person I requesting you, accessible talk back option in this keyboard s x 920
So this is a 2000$ firmware update for the SX 900.
Assume that upgrading will cost about $650 after selling your x900, you do get 1) better display, a few new buttons and knobs, more expansion storage, and a massive software update including over a hundred new styles, hundreds of new voices, and a bunch of new capabilities. Plus you get a new keyboard that has no wear and better resale value in 4 years when the next generation of PSRs come out. IMO, the $650 is WAY worth it.
@@lhl2468excellent analysis and thoughtful response to a very dumb statement
Three Sample more and the people pay for this over 2,000 😂US

No entendí nada 😅😅😅😅
There is no evolution in Yamaha, the same sounds for more than 15 years, what a disaster, I'd rather stick with my Korg pa 1000
Looks more like a money grab from Yamaha. Just like thy did on the MODX+
Had a sx900 for 4 years and own a Genos As you can See on my channel I do Covers of songs but this sx920 is a lazy ,money grab interpretation ,why they are using same fsb keyboard ?? Rattles all the time even after re greasing , maybe people dont know but i re greased the keybed like 4 times in 4 years and the black keys rattle alot. also I see very to little incremantal updates like 2 gb expansion from 1 gb come one just add an ssd and let people add how much they need in memory its 2024 , or were going like apple stategy no offence
and the price OUTRAGEOUS 2727 euro while i bought the sx900 4 years ago for 2000Euro and this is 99% the same
Too much money for me.....
I'm retired now, and to spend that much money on a keyboard that I can't make money with, is just not in the cards for me...
I have seen a couple of videos with this guy and I have to say he is not the best in explaining and presenting keyboards, sorry. Is constantly using the phrase “stuff”, this ruins the whole presentation.
Nothing much, 1 or 2 Updated Only...
Until you put in a drum pad matrix to sequence drums and more live controls Roland has the edge
