    I think Hernandez might’ve had the potential to finish his career as a top 5 tight end of all time. One of the saddest stories in sports in my opinion

      Maybe, but he also had very advanced CTE.

    • @vihockeyguy1
      @vihockeyguy1 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      No doubt. I’ve said this exact same thing. If he wasn’t a psychopathic serial killer, I think he was about to go on to be a top 10, if not top 5, all-time great TE. He was that talented and was in a situation in NE where he was paired up with Gronk and Edelman preventing double teams and had the GOAT throwing him the ball. He wasn’t in a franchise without a QB that could get him the ball. He was literally in the best possible situation he could have ever been in as a pro
      Obviously the loss of human life is tragic but I completely agree that we as football fans were robbed of one of the all-time great careers, and that is a shame

      @@808mitch when he was on the field...but he delt with a bad high ankle sprain for the first like 8 weeks of the season...messed the ankle up against the Titans kind of early in the game, the season opener too. Started off hot with 3 of 4 grabs and a td...I'll never forget it because I drafted him in the 5th round of my fantasy draft in 2012 ...was so excited because I am a Patriot fan and after his 2011 season...I thought taking him in the 5th was a steal haha. Such a shame. He was unbelievable on the field...just sad that wasn't the case off the field. That CTE is real and is no joke....I feel it 100% the cause of Aarons downfalls and demons. So many interviews and clips of him with his daughter show what a good person he could be, which makes his story all the more sad. First and foremost tho...RIP to Odin Lloyd, Safiro Furtado and Daniel De Abreu!!

    Saw this guy play in college and when I heard that the Patriots drafted him, I was excited because of the talent (I thought his stock dropped due to failed drug tests but in hindsight there were character issues as well). I was more excited about Hernandez than I was about Gronk (whom I hardly saw play in college due to his back injury). For his first three seasons, he was spectacular and you could tell Patriots were going to build their offense around those two studs at tight end. Unfortunately, Hernandez had some serious demons and made some horrific choices which affected the team, himself, his family, but the families of all the victims which he senselessly murdered.

    Damn shame. Hernandez was better then Kelce. Was amazing man. Damn shame. Respectfully I hate that bad stuff happened. Can you imagine Gronk, Hernandez,and EDELMAN IN the slot for 10 years! They won without Hernandez but with him they'd won 6-7 in that SPAN. HERNANDEZ had the agility and speed of a WR but the body of a TE. He was SPECTACULAR PPL.

    Say what you want. At the end of the day, we know he murdered one person for sure. But to say this man is not TALENTED and miss his talent is stupid beyond measure. He was a BEAST on the field. Definitely a waste of pure talent.

    This poor guy was physically abused by his bully father & devastatingly sexually abused by a male, which led him to erroneously believe that he was gay. No wonder he developed anger problems. He turned to cannabis & was addicted. He couldn’t get the help he needed. What a shame. Feel bad for the guy.

    His dad's beatings got him brain damaged very young, then all the contact sport and partying just destroyed his mind. The community knew what was going on in their household and nobody stepped in. This world is full of hypocrits.

    He should never have played for the Patriots. He punched a bar manager in Florida when he was at college, and bust his eardrum. Not to mention the apparent shooting in florida that he got away with. He was a wannabe gangster, albeit with exceptional talent.

    Aaron was so friggin talented. He could run out the backfield if they needed him to. He was awesome at running routes and getting open. He had good hands and was good in the open field. It's to bad he couldn't keep his shit together off the field. He could've had a great career if he just stayed focused. Him and Gronk at tight end was sucu a dynamic duo and pretty much unstoppable. It's really sad he threw away his career to act like a gangster, especially since the Patriots gave him a $40 million dollar contract. Can't believe he threw it all away.
