Great review! Is Byzance similar to Lalique le parfum? Because i love Lalique very much, so i think byzance will be a safe blind buy for me... Love from Greece!!!
The bay leaf is very dominant in Lalique, I would place them in the same general group as both are of a powdery,spicy, and on the unisex spectrum but they do not smell the same. I do think that if you love the Lalique than Byzance is not a big gamble for you, you will appreciate it.

I never experienced the original Byzance, most reformulations fall short of the original, but I still love it, leans masculine on me.
