Based on your detailed and honest review, I'll give the new one a try with realistic expectations that it's a bit different. I'll also try Dior Addict based on your comparison to Byzance. For a long time I didn't wear perfumes at all (was considered unprofessional in my workplace on tv and movie sets), so kind of got out of testing and trying new ones. That in mind, can you recommend any other scents an "orginal Byzance" fan might like? In the meantime, I so appreciate your attention to detail and descriptions! 🙂
It's a better version of dior addict Like they took dior addict and made it more powdery and softer In my opinion it's a signature scent and it's better than dior addict Very elegant vanilla smells expensive and get tou many complements It's smooth and creamy and powdery Better in winter .. Or summer nights Am doctor and all my patients tell me you smell amazing
I got this off of your recommendation. It is such a beautiful vanilla fragrance. And the bottle is gorgeous! The cap is heavier than my MFK and Amouages. Amazing!

My brother bought this for me in 1989. I loved it and it became my favourite along with Tresor. Thank God I wore Tresor more as I still have a bottle of Byzance. I sprayed it last week and I could still smell it when I went in shower at night. Cant understand why it was discontinued? Not going to try the new version. Thank you for putting me right.
I remember when I was a teenager and I used to snif the old one everytime at the store and I think it smelled so gorgeous and voluptous. But I could not afford it becuase well, I was just a kid. I forgot about it for years and I saw the bottle again oblivious that it had ever even been discontinued and I was shocked becuase it doesnt smell anything at all like the original. I was simply so disappointed that I never really gave it a chance on my skin but I will now. Nowadays I really enjoy soapy and powdery fragrances, even though I can not stand rosy anything, so if rosy is what I smell too much it will be no for me.

When I began to use it I genuinely fell in love … ! I threw out all my empties over the years :( … Well no when I try and find it it’s over £150 a bottle 😥😥😥 Please ! I can’t wait for the finale ??? Is it almost the same ??? :D eeek

This one is a blind buy for me too. It snelle to.me like the montale orchid powder. The powder in Rochas is not really there; I think it changes in leather in the dry down. Montale is fresh and Rochas more sweet/ uplifting.
Also...In der Parfüm Beschreibung wird erwähnt,das dieser Duft zu wässrig riecht und nach Spülmittel...Die Kommentare zu diesem Duft sind nicht gut,aber wenn Du sagst das es ein toller Duft ist,dann denke ich ,das ich es Mal wagen kann...
@Janett R.also ich rieche definitiv kein Spülmittel 🙈aber die Geschmäcker sind ja immer unterschiedlich😊ich kann nur sagen ich mag ihn sehr gerne und ich war überrascht über die Haltbarkeit für einen pudrig - seifig - floralen Duft 🥰👌Lg🌹
Ja genau das meinte ich ja...Das hört sich doch gut an...Dieses Parfüm ist günstig und wertig so wie Du es beschreibst auch ein gelungener Kauf...Ich mag Düfte die pudrig und sauber riechen wie frisch geduscht oder eingecremt... Also vielen Dank und alles Gute...🍀🤩🥰good night⭐✨
The new version is absolute crap it’s still sitting in the fridge after one use because it make me long for the original scent and resent the new version that’s absolute crap.
Old Byzance is the best parfum I ever have. I bought this one, new .....no way , was so disopointe
