I used this for a sea battle against a Kraken, and added several flashes and multiple tiles with different sound / light combinations. Also added constant rain. Really works super awesome. Thanks!
Monk's active tiles are just providing the most awesome array of possibilities to create. Being an ADnD 1e DM many of the modules and 5e systems don't really help, but Monk's provides liads of opportunities for a completely homebrew game system (thanks to Seregras' Sandbox) and modules. Thanks for sharing.
The Community Lighting module had a "Audio Pulse" mode in which it syncs itself to loud sounds in your background music. So it automatically flashes lightning whenever it happens in the soundtrack :D Didn't get updates for the newer versions of Foundry though.
Starting the Strange Aeons AP with some friends, and this was just what I needed to make Carcosa misty and creepy, also the lightning strikes are awesome for the asylum. Thanks :D
This is great. I'd love to use this for a creepy combat encounter: Place the enemy tokens on the map (something creepy like werewolves or vampire spawn), and then move them when the map is dark. At the beginning of the round, the lightning strikes, possibly revealing the position of the enemy tokens for a brief moment. This might not work well with characters that have dark vision, but it would be very creepy to not know where the enemies are as they run around in the dark, getting closer and closer to the characters.
Hey man your videos are much easier to follow than the other TH-camrs I’ve found. Thank you!

Great idea...thank for sharing and watching.
Do you remember where you got the thunder sound effect, the one in this video is better than the one's I've found myself.
I made it with Audacity.
I have a couple videos on using audacity.
Thanks for watching.
Interesting. Basically you are using Active Tiles as an easy macro button. I am going to be stealing this idea!
Yes...I love using it to do that. Thanks for watching
