There are so many great Oak Ridge Boys songs. Some I'd like you to do are:
"You're the One (In a Million)"
    "Any Old Time You Choose"
"She's Not Just Another Pretty Face"
    "You Made It Beautiful"
    "Only One I Love"
    "Class Reunion"
"I Wish You Could Have Turned My Head (and Left My Heart Alone)"
"Gonna Take a Lot of River"
    "No Matter How High"
    "When Karen Comes Around"
    "If I Were You"
    "Change My Mind".
    I could name many more.

Thank you for taking us down memory lane. This song is on their greatest hits album, released on 01/01/1980 I was a teenager. I have all their org. albums. . 2 of my favs are I'll Be True To You and Sail away.

Loved this song. I’m from South Louisiana, and I remembered that song from when I was a girl. Loved Motown (Black girl here) but loved old country too (watched HeeHaw with granddad), up through the 80s.

This was one of their biggest early hits that put them on the country map. I suggest you check out the well-written and affecting 'I Guess It Never Hurts to Hurt Sometimes.'

So happy you reacted to this song! It's been my favorite Oak Ridge Boys song since I was 11 years old. (It was released in 1979.) As a Louisianan, I am a sucker for a song with Louisiana in the title, but it is awesome to see a Brit enjoy this song as much as I do!

I think I was born just a tad later than you, but it’s also been my favorite ORB song since I was a boy. We liked it over in west Texas, too.

    Other good ones would be
    Thank God For Kids
    Y'All Come Back Saloon
A weird little fact is that the same time that the Oak Ridge Boys were forming in Oak Ridge Tennessee, the area around the little town was being flooded by 10,000 's of people reporting to the newly formed top secret military base.
Most of them not even realizing that they working to perfect the atom bomb, otherwise known as Site #1 for the Manhattan Project.

La Dee! I bought the vinyl album in 1980, played it so many times!!! The drum beats get me going. So glad this one came up on your list! My favorite of all, tied with Ya'll Come Back Saloon from this album. Remember many of the songs non-stop on the radio, also Fancy Free...

I think you've covered all of the real fun songs from them. But, there are still great songs left. My next suggestion would be either Trying To Love Two Women or Thank God For Kids. The latter is a Christmas type song.

With deep Louisiana roots and now living here permanently (not leaving again), so much of this is relatable. When it first came out, we were already big Oak Ridge Boys fans. It's hard to pick an absolute favorite song but his right up there.

Man, I used to play this song a lot in my truck while driving around in my early 20's, during the early 2010's.
It's such a fun song to sing.. I don't know how to explain it, but the way the words flow off the tongue feels fun.

I have very eclectic taste in music....in many genres...it is okay to like songs along the whole spectrum that is country music. You don't have to like every song along it....and people are going to have their favorites, but people who just love music in general should enjoy watching each other discover new stuff...I know that's the only reason I watch the awards shows...to watch musicians enjoy listening to each other perform.....

Oh, I was gona tell ya, but ended up in the hospital, Blake Shelton brought back the mullet in his new song!! He didn't grow it. They used a green screen to make it appear for the video. It's even the picture on his Instagram or Twitter homepage. I think Instagram though. The song is called... No Body. NOT Nobody But You! This one means like the Body. The video has the mullet & is made to look like an old VHS tape & it has line dancing in it!! I haven't done that in years! It just faded out. I'm gona get on TH-cam & learn it when I feel better!! Don't know if someone told you already, but when I saw it, you were the first person I thought of!! 🤠👢🎶
