It seems you get 3 drops at once (when you are using 3 Rare crests) instead of just one :D , so you just saving time when you are using 3 rare at once !!

I am really unsure wether to even play the game, because of the mmo stuff. Love playing d2, poe and d3, but i get bored if the progression is artificially slowed down and the gamme tries to take to much of my lifetime.

I'm lvl54, F2P and these are all great tips. I've been mostly focused on campaign rather than rifts. Finding a Lassal group that actually beats the encounter seems a lucky draw. I've also seen some members that were completely underpowered (Powerrating of around 300) yet when I tried prior to 420 it always said I couldn't join. Not sure how that works. Seems to be one of the hardest encounters yet. It can get quite chaotic but hey... better than just an HP bar to beat.

I was hoping p2w aspect would be more focused on saving time. Like I can waste 10h grinding rifts to get few legendary gems while paying player will get them in 5 mins. Sadly it is even worse than that, rifts without any rare or legendary crests will never give you legendary gems so good luck grinding them :s One of the worst possible buisness models, being limited to 1 free legendary crest per month is a joke....
I agree its shady, but you can still get like 5 rare crests per day, and you can get 2* legendary gems from them, as well as craft legendary gems and save up to roll the random 1-5 star gem. Its still a gamble but much faster then using 1 legendary crest a month You also get daily platinum, so eventually youll likely be able to just buy a specific gem from the market

get a speed build so you can farm elder rifts quickly for xp/embers. also good for bounties and general open world stuff. it can help you farm for monstrous essence too.

about FA runes you need 396 ambers to get 22 for the random legendary gem so u need to farm for 2 weeks to get to that number but since u only need 74 or so from the second week 320 limit u can craft 1 random legendary after getting enough the second week and then keep on crafting for the next 3 weeks so technically for every 5 weeks of grinding fading amber u get to craft 4 random legendary gems for a chance to get a five star one , also bonus is the gems you craft are tradable so even if u dont get good gems u can try sell them on market and eventually buy the 5 star gem u need
for people wondering about elder rift , you get 8 fading amber drop along some exp running without crest , for each rare crest you put in u get 4 random runes + one bonus fading amber so if u run solo with 3 crest u get 11 amber and 12 runes , thing is bonus fading amber and normal drop fading amber have different caps , bonus fading amber caps at 120 per week and normal amber at 200 making it a total of 320 per week, also it worth to note that other player crests count toward the bonus amber so if u run 4 people all with crest u get 8 base + 12 bonus amber
The resources required for levelng up a 1 star lgem from rank 2 to 3 are the sames as leveling a 2 star from rank 1 to 2 but the 2 stars give way more resonance. If u have 5 points in gems to throw away invest in the 2 star first as it will yeld more resonance and resonance increases equipment base attributes meaning more CR and more damage.
Thanks for the as usual awesome video. This is a decent game from campaign perspective. Skills are a watered down version of D3. Dungeons are nice. But too many currencies are absolute rubbish. They're are present to confuse whales into spending more. I will complete story and play dungeons on mobile. That's it.

Playing on PC with VPN since it's not playable in Belgium. I was quite sceptic at the start but I like the gameplay now. The only downside is how much it is pay 2 win. You can buy in 1 click what you otherwise would have to farm for hours... The bug for Exynos galaxy phones is still not fixed so can't play on the phone atm. I was thiking something about the Market, like you could at least gain some Platinum selling the few gems you get and doesn't have any use for... but then i found out that all gems that you get from normal crests are bound... Meaning that you can only use the market to make actual usefull money if you're p2w...
Question regarding scoria. Guides say you get 1 scoria for the daily battle path quest in addition to the 300 platinum once you unlock the helliquary. I don’t seem to get that. Is there any other requirements? Lvl 60 (I am 47), having killed the raid boss (so far no luck) or anything else?
You can only equip 1 type of legendary, you can't equip multiple of the same kind. Different kinds of legendary you can. For regular gem, there is no restrictions
I was lucky enough to get a 5 star gem from my 4th run. I imagine that used up all my luck for the 4est of the game's life because I never have good luck haha. Edit: Just got another 5 star Bloodsoaked Jade or whatever it is called, but on my alt DH. 💔 I wouldn't mind this luck keeping up haha

I'm just gonna, skip it entirely. now that D2 has received a facelift, I'll stick to that until D:IV drops. Pay to win games, even if you CAN play them for free drive me up a wall and I absolutely refuse to support them. That said, if it's your cup of tea, have fun I guess. Just wait till people realize the end-game gear has layers upon layers of P2w... F2p has a 5 percent drop rate for one gem with rare crests. You need to level up each gem to level 10. To show how hard that is, it requires 51 level 1-star gems just to reach level 5 on a 1-star gem. After it reaches level 10, then u can put more LEVEL 10 gems into that level 10 gem. I think a one-star gem can fit two other LEVEL 10 1-star gems into it. For max gear, each gear piece needs a 5-star gem 5/5 at level 10 (which requires 30+ 5 star gems to level up it up level 10 plus other gems) and u have to pray that you got a star gem 5/5, not a 2/5 and you still need multiple levels 10 gems inside of them. Easily requiring 100k+ in money.
Would you rather be done gearing.. now? Then what would be the point? I don't get it, why do people want to be done ASAP. You won't ever be done, and that's okey, enjoy the ride instead of obsessing about the finish line.
I'll give you a tip. Don't fucking care about the competition. Just have fun doing your own thing. The moment you compete is the moment this game becomes trash (because paying customers have a near infinite advantage). A free player has 0% chance to compete, and that is a fact.
Just keep playing and you'll get there. Combat Rating is the total of all of your attributes and higher level items drop with both higher amounts of stats and more stats in general (up to 3 different stats). I had enough Combat Rating when I was level 48 but I've seen other people get in by level 42. It all depends on your gear: just keep playing.
Please let us just pay a one-time-fee to okay a game! I would be fine paying $60 for this game. But now you need to pay $110,000 to fully gear up! 110000! You could buy a new house for those money. But they ask this price for a mobile game. Distasteful

I'm loving this game so far. People upset about the Pay 2 win stuff, but if you put a lot of hours in, you can still get most of the same stuff in different ways, AND you still have the entire story and all the free expansions that will be coming in the future that you won't need to pay for. Just so you all know, you can run rifts without crests at all for drops and xp. I think you get dust doing crestless runs but not sure.

Playing on PC with VPN since it's not playable in Belgium. I was quite sceptic at the start but I like the gameplay now. The only downside is how much it is pay 2 win. You can buy in 1 click what you otherwise would have to farm for hours...

Question regarding scoria. Guides say you get 1 scoria for the daily battle path quest in addition to the 300 platinum once you unlock the helliquary. I don’t seem to get that. Is there any other requirements? Lvl 60 (I am 47), having killed the raid boss (so far no luck) or anything else?

You can only equip 1 type of legendary, you can't equip multiple of the same kind. Different kinds of legendary you can. For regular gem, there is no restrictions

I was lucky enough to get a 5 star gem from my 4th run. I imagine that used up all my luck for the 4est of the game's life because I never have good luck haha.
Edit: Just got another 5 star Bloodsoaked Jade or whatever it is called, but on my alt DH. 💔 I wouldn't mind this luck keeping up haha

@@stefangeibla3824 that’s great. You’re certainly in the minority. You can get a good story from tons of games but for Diablo and ARPGS in general is typically about the endgame loop and progression. But no one’s stopping you from enjoying yourself. Immortal definitely has some cool things
@@bullit4170 well d2 (and i assume d1 but i only played through its story once) doesn't have an endgame really and definitely no endgame loop. D3 does though but all diablo games until now have been enjoyable enough just playing through them. The need for an endgame is player created

I'm just gonna, skip it entirely. now that D2 has received a facelift, I'll stick to that until D:IV drops. Pay to win games, even if you CAN play them for free drive me up a wall and I absolutely refuse to support them. That said, if it's your cup of tea, have fun I guess. But also screw you for encouraging this sort of behavior from game devs by making the platform even slightly profitable.

Just wait till people realize the end-game gear has layers upon layers of P2w... F2p has a 5 percent drop rate for one gem with rare crests. You need to level up each gem to level 10. To show how hard that is, it requires 51 level 1-star gems just to reach level 5 on a 1-star gem. After it reaches level 10, then u can put more LEVEL 10 gems into that level 10 gem. I think a one-star gem can fit two other LEVEL 10 1-star gems into it. For max gear, each gear piece needs a 5-star gem 5/5 at level 10 (which requires 30+ 5 star gems to level up it up level 10 plus other gems) and u have to pray that you got a star gem 5/5, not a 2/5 and you still need multiple levels 10 gems inside of them. Easily requiring 100k+ in money.

I'll give you a tip. Don't fucking care about the competition. Just have fun doing your own thing. The moment you compete is the moment this game becomes trash (because paying customers have a near infinite advantage). A free player has 0% chance to compete, and that is a fact.

Just keep playing and you'll get there. Combat Rating is the total of all of your attributes and higher level items drop with both higher amounts of stats and more stats in general (up to 3 different stats). I had enough Combat Rating when I was level 48 but I've seen other people get in by level 42. It all depends on your gear: just keep playing.

I'm loving this game so far. People upset about the Pay 2 win stuff, but if you put a lot of hours in, you can still get most of the same stuff in different ways, AND you still have the entire story and all the free expansions that will be coming in the future that you won't need to pay for. I really like it!

It does seem to me like its a bit too hard to get good endgame gear without paying but I'll give it a couple of days at least before judging it. Doesn't sound like you played it at all though.
