You do the kind of hunting that is the best. At 64 I can't do that like I once could . So I do the ladder stand or ground blind thing now. On November 12 I put up a ground blind, where I thought looked good. On november 22 I got a nice 8. He came straight to me, minutes after using the grunt call. 144lbs. clean dressed. Huge neck. Perhaps a 3 year old.

Nov 20 is the day I tracked down the adk buck in my profile picture. He was on the hoof at 11am. Found him at the very bottom of a drainage. Sealed the deal around 1:15.

@@WanderingWhitetails the was a big wind shift around noon that day. I went in knowing that. I caught up to him during the wind shift. It forced him off his bed and got him moving.
