"Find the light in the dark" I just love how the quote from Unalaq is what ultimately helps Korra connect to the cosmic energy. I love how Unalaq unintentionally helped korra defeat him.
I love that Zhao was able to get a cameo this season, and we're able to get a better understanding of what happened to him. Also, the fact that they brought Jason Isaacs back for that one scene makes it all the better.
27:04 HUGE character development here. Is one of my favorite Tenzin moments. When he finally sets himself fre of the expectations he thought the world had of him, but in reality, they were his own expectations.
It's great Tenzin had to learn that he wasn't a spiritual person because of The pressure he put on himself. Both he and Korra had alot to learn this season
I think it’s fine and it has grown on me. I personally just take issue with the Jinora Ex Machina at the end. It’s not a big issue for me, I just don’t like that sort of thing in general, including energy bending in the original
I’ve seen this so many times but I still get shaken by seeing the Avatars disappear when Raava is destroyed. I couldn’t believe it the first time I watched. People trash this season but there is still some great storytelling and character arcs
I think I can explain what was happening with Jinora! :D So a very large part of her character is that she is *incredibly* spiritual and connected to her spiritual self. When she was in the spirit world, she was, in a way, at her most free and most powerful. She was just incredibly unlucky to be captured by Unalaaq who was ALSO incredibly spiritual *and* had the spirits native to the Spirit World on his side. So she came off as very weak despite actually being in, well, her element (no pun intended). But once she was freed from the Fog of Lost Souls, she had the ability to demonstrate her true prowess over her spirituality What happened with Jinora appearing during the big UnaVaatu v Kaiju Korra fight was that, since Harmonic Convergence was happening, Jinora was able to project her spirit into both worlds, spirit and material. When she appeared and began to shine in front of UnaVaatu, I personally took that as her showing that there is still light in the world by being that light herself. She was able to show Korra and Raava, who was hidden deep inside of Vaatu, that hope was not lost. While she was not physically powerful, she was *spiritually* powerful There are some further explanations to some of the other questions you asked that get answered next book so I won't answer those to avoid giving spoilers. I am so excited to see your reaction to my favorite season of LoK! Enter the void! (Edited for spelling)
Korra's uncle should be locked up in jail forever. And Vaatu merging with Korra's uncle was very scary to see. Also it's very amazing that Raava came back to life thanks to Korra. And seeing Uncle Iroh again was very sweet as well.
Unalaq’s selfish goals and ambitions to become a dark avatar may make him powerful and seemingly unstoppable, but thanks to our knowledge of knowing what Raava and Vaatu are like, there’s a great weakness in Unalaq’s newly acquired abilities.
Same. I honestly used to hate this season (except for beginnings) but it's a lot better than I remember upon rewatch. Season 3 is still my favorite though
Finally Tim, been waiting for this as well, this is what i was talking about as well this, the Korra Vaatu fight & the Korra UnaVaatu fight, & Avatar Wan himself doing everything & meeting & befriending that 1 hilarious Spirit & fighting Vaatu as well, all of that, this specific story arc is so my fav part of The Legend of Korra, it is still good after this but this is my favorite arc, part, of this story
I think it is cool what they did as it’s like killing ur darling it makes for a cool concept , ppl give it far to much hate ,like aang would of lost the avatars if katara did not use the spirit water
29:24. I know the stakes are technically higher than in all the other seasons, but it doesn't *feel* like the stakes are higher! When it's the whole world's fate, it feels less personal. But when it is on a much smaller scale, where the villains focus on you and your family, it actually *feels* like the stakes are higher!
wait a minute i tought we are getting a wallace and gromit movie reaction video today is it beceuse of copyright issues again?? but at least we are getting another awesome the legend of korra reaction from timotheereacts🧔🏻🤙and tim have a nice day✌😎☀️🤙
It's never touched on, but some people wonder if The Dark Avatar would ever be reborn, but I don't think he would. His Dark Giant form would basically be Unalaq's Avatar State. Of course Light/Peace would be more about the mind (hence the eye glow and temporarily gaining all knowledge of previous Avatars.) While Darkness/Chaos would be more physical, such as becoming a Spiritual Giant capable of leveling the world.
Now that we have reached the end of season 2, I can finally list my biggest complaint with those that hate Korra as a character and love Aang. Are you people seriously telling me Aang wouldn’t have done exactly what Korra did in this season. Opening the portal, trusting Unalaq. Aang trusted people who turned out bad when he had less reason to trust them. Jet and the one general from the start of season 2 for example. Korra had no reason to distrust Unalaq and every reason to open the first portal. As for the second, if you seriously try to tell me Aang would’ve sacrificed a child, irrespective of it being his granddaughter, then clearly you watched a different show than me. Korra made the same if not a more understandable mistake as aang did, hers just had farther reaching consequences that were completely unpredictable.
Light will always triumph over Darkness, as for your question Tim on whether Vaatu will return, yes he will, in 10,000 years, when that happens the Avatar who will have to deal with that is going to have two fold problems, darkness growing within Raava and therefore in the Avatar, may be the first time the Avatar will do some really morally grey things, I also wonder how Vaatu is going to come out, cause he have to. What a cartoon series that can be. The last Avatar of the second cycle of Avatars is going to have to deal with a lot.
I don't even know how he was elected president. President Raiko is literally a useless idiot. You saw he even made things harder for Korra and her friends and when the times comes to face the conssequences of his idiocy he is like "Oh sorry avatar, please save us."
Just like light was reborn inside of vaatu, I think darkness can be reborn inside of ravaa. So maybe in the future there could be an avatar that goes dark. Essentially the avatar has the potential to become evil. At least that’s my theory.
4:06. Imagine if you took "Nuk no" and replaced the N in "Nuk with an F and then added a C between the U and the K. Then this show would have gotten an R-rating very quickly!
11:56. Me: "The show wants to do something a little different? All right, I'll bite! Let's see what you had in mind!" Unalaq: "Dark Avatar." Me: "Dark Avatar..? Dark Avatar?? DARK AVATAR?!? (Bad tearful singing) And I-I-I (holy shit!) will always love you! (Stops singing) I can't believe you did this to me, goddammit! How could you do this to me?! I can sit here and be shoveled shit *all day,* but no one, no one can tell me anyone thought this was an okay thing to do! Why?! Why would you take a *fucking Avatar series,* one that we've been waiting for for *years?!* And make the second season about fucking, Dark, Avatar?! This is something that should only exist in Avatar fanfiction, not something that should actually canonically exist within either of the two shows!"
So yeah, Varrick's plan doesn't last as long as he hoped, thanks to Bolin getting some shine. But in a twist of fate, Varrick ends up being the only one who can help Team Avatar from his comfy prison cell - because Raiko is a huge bitch. Ahhhh but this...Korra's memory conveniently came back to a point, and that point was before breaking up with Mako. And thus Mako conveniently decides not to remind her of that incident, right in front of Asami. At least that love triangle didn't last several episodes...but seriously Mako come on. The still trapped Jinora is sought by Tenzin and siblings, but at least we got a bunch of cameos, including Zhao of all people! I guess being trapped in a maddening loop in the spirit world is fitting punishment for killing the moon spirit. I still don't like that Raava 'died', because the show effectively permakilled all of the avatars, including Aang, that connection is gone forever. The Korra-kaiju was strange as well, like Korra and Jinora were able to defeat essentially a god of darkness and chaos without even needing Raava, but we had the big sci-fi ending all for the end to be keeping the portals open as Unalaq intended, minus the whole darkness deity thing of course. On the plus side, the ripple effect into next season will bring out the best in the show
I also think ppl don't like that Korra wasn't reconnected with her past lives. A decision I personally love. Bc it means every decision from here on out is all her. Ik from your patron that you have reacted to almost the whole show so I'm not afraid of spoilers for s3 but she brought back the air nation. Not kyoshi, not Roku, not aang. KORRA did. Korra left the portals open. I just love her and think ppl give her too much shit. Especially the ppl that say she has no growth like every season literally proves them wrong like.
Long ago, the four seasons of The Legend of Korra lived in harmony. Then, everything changed when the love triangle attacked. Only Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, creators of this franchise, could stop the love triangle, but when the world needed them the most, they vanished. After season 2 ended, Bryan and Michael returned to work on the series, although by this point, most people had lost faith in the series. But I believe Bryke can save The Legend of Korra.
Ik ppl really hate this season but I honestly love it. It's still the worst season of LOK but imo I still prefer it over Atla s1 ngl lol. Buuuuut that's another debate. However, the end can get a little confusing I get it lol. So the Jinora thing is the most unexplained and confusing part of the finale so I'll explain it. But Jinora throughout the show is shown as this pure soul who is sweet, nice, and as seen in episode 9 and 10 very spiritual. She has a connection with the spirits that no one else has. And so she is the light in the dark. She was able to see the world was in trouble and since she was the most spiritual person other than the avatar she was able to use her spiritual powers to basically speed up Raava's regeneration. Obviously raava wasn't gone but she would need 10,000 years as said to be able to grow back to full size and start combating vaatu again. I think ppl get upset bc they think Jinora revived raava and they get all pissy bc "it's not explained, like how can a child bring back the light spirit" but they forget that she didn't revive her. Cause raava wasn't dead. She simply sped up the process of raava growing basically. And it's not necessarily explained. However, it's more of a pay attention to details and characters ending. Which is another reason I think ppl don't like it. Bc they aren't smart enough for that and need people to hand feed them everything 😂😂. No I'm jk abt that last part. Ik s2 is flawed but I still love it.
These episodes are kinda the reason people hate S2, and for some, Korra in general. In AtLA, the world was complex, nothing was purely black and white, and even with the "pure evil" of Ozai, Aang was trying to find a way. In Korra: "Yeah, there's these two big, overgrown kites, they're the main spirits. One is white, one is black. White=light=good, black=dark=bad. Nothing else. The way other spirits act depends on who of these two has more influence on them. Oh, and they battle every, let's say, 10,000 years. How? Lasers. How else?"
Ozai was also a black and white character. More of a one-dimensional villain than Unalaq. What exactly did he want? Burn up the whole world? Why excatly?

No season 2 episode 10 the legend of korra reaction video on TH-cam whoopsie😮😬
😅 Thank you. And again Congratulations🎉
You are forgiven my friend
"Find the light in the dark"

He ended up in the Avatar universes version of hell. And rightfully so.
27:04 HUGE character development here. Is one of my favorite Tenzin moments. When he finally sets himself fre of the expectations he thought the world had of him, but in reality, they were his own expectations.

I like to imagine that after this event, Tenzin was finally able to meditate into the Spirit World 😌
It's great Tenzin had to learn that he wasn't a spiritual person because of The pressure he put on himself. Both he and Korra had alot to learn this season
Season 3 is about to begin !!!!
Have you heard of the guru Laghima?
Most people hate this arc but it’s personally my favorite
I think it’s fine and it has grown on me. I personally just take issue with the Jinora Ex Machina at the end. It’s not a big issue for me, I just don’t like that sort of thing in general, including energy bending in the original
Fun fact:
The spirit mushroom was voiced by Grey DeLisle (Griffin) AKA the voice of Azula.
I’ve seen this so many times but I still get shaken by seeing the Avatars disappear when Raava is destroyed. I couldn’t believe it the first time I watched. People trash this season but there is still some great storytelling and character arcs

The Legend of Korra Has Been My Favorite Show To Watch!😊
In theory, this means that Vaatu will end up regrowing inside a future avatar and possibly be stuck like that forever
Unalaq’s selfish goals and ambitions to become a dark avatar may make him powerful and seemingly unstoppable, but thanks to our knowledge of knowing what Raava and Vaatu are like, there’s a great weakness in Unalaq’s newly acquired abilities.
Season 3 opens ur eeeeeyes to season 2 it’s insane. So hype to continue ur reactions!
Welcome back Iroh, the first! Oh, it was SO satisfying to see him in this series! Still, sharing his wisdom in the best way possible.😁
All the knowlage of the past avatars gone that suck. Imagine the reincarnation cycle happed to the dark avatar.
Season 2 wasn't my favorite season of The Legend of Korra, but it's still awesome

30:34. Tim: "That would make her dark."
Korra, looking at her skin tone: "Excuse me?!!"
23:28. He's probably been stuck there for at least over 70 years! He's had plenty of time to be driven to madness!
I think it is cool what they did as it’s like killing ur darling it makes for a cool concept , ppl give it far to much hate ,like aang would of lost the avatars if katara did not use the spirit water
*Would've
Wait. She said he destroyed HER connection to the past avatars, but nothing about the next avatar's connection to the past Avatars
I guess I need to stay up late for this.

38:55 They are both "destroyed". Their souls were torn back to the omnipresent energy from which they've been created.
It's never touched on, but some people wonder if The Dark Avatar would ever be reborn, but I don't think he would.

Just water, remember what juang had to do inorder bend diff elements

WHERE IS EPISODE 10
Good video
y'all can fight me on this but season 2 and maybe 4 are tied for the grandest season finale

Finally this season is OVER. Now onto the best season 😎
What happens to episode 10?
Where is the Iroh episode😢
cool
episode 10 where?
This was my least favorite season
What I loved about LOK was its combination of science fiction and fantasy
This season was mostly fantasy
Where on earth is ep 8 9 10
You are sooooo handsome omg 🤭 perfect skin, perfect beard, and perfect voice 💕
so Korra said that the cycle is over because of that scene Raava was destroyed, so no more Avatar to reincarnate?
Wait u skip episode 10

You edit out the comedy from the show...Sad.
