great name, it references the original MTBs, basically road bikes with knobbies, so a gravel bike is essentially a return to the past, granted much lighter and better

We are seeing a new trend here. Drop bars Gravel, drop bar mtb's or adventure bikes whatever are shredding the single tracks now and not just limited to flat bar mtb's. Given the right engineering John Tomac's formula has already been proven finally.

So incredibly disappointed Kona of all brands decided to make a carbon bike that costs FOUR THOUSAND EUROS for the lowest quality build. I can have a custom made to my exact body bike built out of the finest quality steel for less than that. Absolutely ridiculous when Kona has been one of the few brands still sticking to practical and affordable METAL bikes.

Based on how it looks this looks to be the same geometry as the Sutra LTD. It's a bit lighter and probably a bit more stiff (given steels compliance.) I don't understand being disappointed that they made a plastic bike that has a given market.
@@unitzer0d some people just want carbon. It is the newest material and it is trending now. In my case, titanium would be much more interesting but there is not enough people wanting it nowadays.
