So strange to see you somewhere I used to be almost every weekend years back. Rock climbing was my saviour many years ago and unlocked so many adventures around the world. Take the pressure off feeling you need to onsite everything, redpointing and learning to take the fall will massively help progress with sport climbing and buy a clip stick (a must at Portland). Keep it going and take it easy 👍

Ben, I'm so happy to see you & your little bro have fun together. Puts a smile on my face. He was so excited to, be in the zone, to have climbed that rock. I was yelling him on right up that big ass thing. Your lucky to have a sibling. I don't & there's times I wish I did. Like when I lost my Dad in 2007. I had no one to talk to expect my best friend, my Mother. They where divorced back when I was around 10-12 years old, but lived together until I was 18 years old, I'm now 56, but he ran around on her all the time. What a man, right? NOT!! I really hated him for that & not being a real father figure. When around him I needed to be his son, not his daughter. I was more of a slave to him then his kid. I really think he resented me, BC I was a girl. So I was a tom boy instead. Hated anything to do w/girly clothes/make-up. Still to this day I do not own a dress. Anyways sorry about that, but there's a point to my madness to tell you that it's great to have a brother. Yes I'm sure y'all both got onto each others never as all siblings do. But their nice to have if you need someone that really knows you & what's going on. Like when a parent dies. My Mom is getting up there in years now & when she pasts, if I don't beet her, I have know one to cry with or lean on. Yes, I do have my husband & 2 kids, but it's not like a sibling who's been through what you been through similar growing ups. Love see you two together, spending good time together. Looks like some great routes. Sadly done very little outdoor climbing here in wales last 18months with lockdowns just squeezing indoor sessions in when its open. 2022 be back to full speed 🤞🤞🤞 and have a van by then 😁
The lad done good! Not much sports climbing here in north Wales it's mostly trad but I can see the appeal. Now if Portland was trad that would be scary. Imagine trying to find gear placements in extremis!!!
