The Modeling a railway set in the 1930s off the coast of Italy in a fictional village called Amalfitano. The people and the railway have their stories. Along the way I will share these stories, how to’s and updates on the little Gn15 scale railway
Thank you for allowing us to visit your sweet village. Always a joy to see what's new.
Thank you for stopping by!
I love the unique character of this miniature world of yours!
I hope to miniaturize myself and retire in my village. Haha.
It was such a pleasure watching a craftsman at work.
Gosh thank you.
I also am making buildings out of bulsa that resemble those in York England in the Tudor era. Ilike the idea of using 3D, great idea.
That sounds a great project. If you are not aware basswood is a little more robust than balsa wood. And in my opinion easier to work with. Hope you post your project
It is very inspiring to see how you build all from scratch. Thanks for sharing this little world
Thank you. I am still trying to get closer to how I dream it up. Elusive.
lovely model, It's great to see this model railway come to life it reminds me of a model village scene I used to go past in a front garden on my way to school, sadly when the owner passed away it was all demolished along with the cottage to make way for some horrid modern box of a house 😞
Thank you for sharing that vivid story. I guess we all have these memories that bring a smile to our hearts when we see something that brings that memory back to life.
That looks great. Just what Amalfitano needed. (Love the seagulls by the way). Kev.
Thanks Kev! I hope my elbow doesn’t knock it over in the future when I start working on those in the back.
Looks absolutely awesome!
Thank you so much. Your comments keep me motivated.
@@TravelinginMiniatureI often change plans for my own layout on the fly after wathing Your videos!
Amazing as always.👍
Thanks I appreciate the compliment
Very cool ! I chuckled at the addition of the image of the Pope, or some Bishop. Nice detail.
Nice catch! It’s Pope Pious XI which is appropriate for 1930s Italy which is the setting of my layout.
Ah, molto bello.
Grazie mille. I tuoi commenti mi tengono motivato.
Fantastic found from Kev’s modelling minutes 👌😎☕️
