- This incredible story of the trans"mommy", Gauri Sawant has perfectly delineated, that motherhood has no gender. With her army of 150 social workers, Gauri helps other transgenders from the suburbs of Mumbai through her NGO Sakhi Char Chowghi. This human extraordinaire makes us question our beliefs! The love, affection and care Gauri Sawant has for her daughter resonates with the kind of human she is i.e. extraordinarily daring and compassionate. Whilst her popularity soared with Vicks TV Commercial, her story began when she was a barely five years of age owing to her mother’s demise. The chaos she lived through since childhood, finally paved way to her new life at 17. Armed with just Rs. 60 in her pocket, she arrived at the city of dreams, Mumbai.
She left behind her home, her city, her family but not her identity. Her exemplary communication skills landed her a job in Humsafar Trust. Here she motivated and advised people facing an identity crisis to embrace themselves and their true identities. @@Ruthie9810 Nobody has the right to kill their unborn babies. A trans baby is God's creation as well. How can you predict who will suffer and who will not. Times are changing. Parents should stop discriminating and give their trans children a normal life and better future. They are more level headed because of the many challenges they face on a daily basis. Unlike many cis women, they do not take life for granted. Nowadays trans women are getting educated and intends to do good jobs. There are women who have started their own business. I have seen videos on trans women.
Aborting a baby is better than bringing a child up in an unhealthy environment. Bringing up children is not a joke.
