Building static defence in certain ways in the domes will completely negate melee and most ranged enemies. And the more bomber platforms you get the more damage the bombing run ability troops can use will do as well as a larger zone. The marines can be made to heal and buff attack speed of nearby mechs which stack well with the seige tank and ragnarok alt weapons (non gatlings). And the drop pod turrets (an upgrade) can stack indefinitely so you could spam stack them when you are cap supply at an area and it will have so much dps that nothing can get through. Paired with a dome then nothing will touch them either
This is a defensive map, and using bombing platforms causes one of my squads to remain stationary, which is really bad on this map. I did switch my squads around at one point so that they could repair the Thor. I didn't spam the drop pod turrets because, I wanted to keep them on hand for the shield and gas incase things got hairy. Just a reminder these aren't tutorial videos, just showcases! Thanks for the tips!!
Game mechanics of this commander is strongly inspired by game Warhammer 40.000 Dawn of War. The squad mechanics, weapons and taking pre-set spot on the map. But it is Great! I enjoy this commander more than any other Nexus Coop. Could be the strongest late game commander of all Coop with 2 top bar screen deleting nukes, 3rd screen deleting nuke availeable via strike fighters and ulitmate-weapon squad beeing unstopeable unles you'd run into train of bangelings. Only issue I have is with selecting individual squads, as you need to pick the "leader" which is realy difficult if you have more members in it. If you would not mind I would suggest run on Scythe of Amon - going only nukes + defense. I have tried few times and it is easiest win ever if you are able to defend main base.
@@SynergyGamingTVIn case you would attack last shard in top left, than you should go nuke 1st and pulse beam 2nd, fun fact is that if you'd start with pulse, wait until it finishes and than use nuke ... while also hitting top-left shard, than the fighter with nuke flies so long that shard might survive even double nuke because of shield regen
