I was born in a muslim family but i was never a true muslim until i was 33 years old.Even muslims by birth,out of mercy of Allah(SWT) have their own unique revert stories.
I feel the same way as a born Muslim. Allah blessed us twice. Alhamdullilah for guidance!

I live in a country where we speak french. But I got the ability to speak and understand english. I were used to say my self this english skills are useless because I'm not using it at work and people of my country don't speak english at all.
But since that first day I started watching all the Sir Nouman videos and all what Bayyinah produces, I fill like this were the reason why Allah facilitated the learning of English for me.
I think only Allah knows how usefull your videos are for me I learned a lot form you and you also help me change many things on the way I see this world. You also helped me to strengthen my relationship with the Coran.
May Allah reward you, and all the people you're working with, on this earth and hereafter. And may Allah spread those rewards on all members of your families.

It was narrated from Mus’ab bin Sa’d that his father, Sa’d bin Abu Waqqas, said:
“I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, which people are most severely tested?’ He said: ‘The Prophets, then the next best and the next best. A person is tested according to his religious commitment. If he is steadfast in his religious commitment, he will be tested more severely, and if he is frail in his religious commitment, his test will be according to his commitment. Trials will continue to afflict a person until they leave him walking on the earth with no sin on him.’”

To my mind, NMK is one of the most important personalities of our time. When most people think personalities, they think of presidents, rock stars, "supposedly" well known people. Well guess way, these so called presidents and famous people are worth a dime to us when it comes to the matter of understanding our religion.
NMK's focus on teaching the linguistic beauty of the Quran + the message of Quran is what distinguishes him from many others. I have a renewed appreciation and understanding of the Quran.

Best 2 hours I've spent in a long time! Te things I love about Udhtaz Nouman speeches: He communicates things in a simple, relevant, and humoristic way. His speeches soften our hearts because they connect us back to Allah, and they revive our feeling of self-worth as belivers. What I admire the most in that man is the way he embodies balance in Islam. Yes it is great to recite qur'an, but don't forget to go out in nature and reflect on its ayahs. 286 - Allah, bir kimseyi ancak gücünün yettiği şeyle yükümlü kılar. Onun kazandığı iyilik kendi yararına, kötülük de kendi zararınadır. (Şöyle diyerek dua ediniz): "Ey Rabbimiz! Unutur, ya da yanılırsak bizi sorumlu tutma! Ey Rabbimiz! Bize, bizden öncekilere yüklediğin gibi ağır yük yükleme. Ey Rabbimiz! Bize gücümüzün yetmediği şeyleri yükleme! Bizi affet, bizi bağışla, bize acı! Sen bizim Mevlâmızsın. Kâfirler topluluğuna karşı bize yardım et."

اٰمَنَ الرَّسُوْلُ بِمَاۤ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَّبِّهٖ وَالْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ ؕ كُلٌّ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَلٰٓئِكَتِهٖ وَكُتُبِهٖ وَرُسُلِهٖ ۟ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ اَحَدٍ مِّنْ رُّسُلِهٖ ۟ وَقَالُوْا سَمِعْنَا وَاَطَعْنَا ۫ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَاِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيْرُ
English - Sahih International
The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allāh and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination."

رسول ایمان ﻻیا اس چیز پر جو اس کی طرف اللہ تعالیٰ کی جانب سے اتری اور مومن بھی ایمان ﻻئے، یہ سب اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے فرشتوں پر اور اس کی کتابوں پر اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان ﻻئے، اس کے رسولوں میں سے کسی میں ہم تفریق نہیں کرتے، انہوں نے کہہ دیا کہ ہم نے سنا اور اطاعت کی، ہم تیری بخشش طلب کرتے ہیں اے ہمارے رب! اور ہمیں تیری ہی طرف لوٹنا ہے،

لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللّٰهُ نَفْسًا اِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ؕ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ ؕ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَاۤ اِنْ نَّسِيْنَاۤ اَوْ اَخْطَاْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَاۤ اِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهٗ عَلَي الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهٖ ۚ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا ٝ وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ٝ وَارْحَمْنَا ٝ اَنْتَ مَوْلٰىنَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَي الْقَوْمِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ

Allāh does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."[1]

اللہ تعالیٰ کسی جان کو اس کی طاقت سے زیاده تکلیف نہیں دیتا، جو نیکی وه کرے وه اس کے لئے اور جو برائی وه کرے وه اس پر ہے، اے ہمارے رب! اگر ہم بھول گئے ہوں یا خطا کی ہو تو ہمیں نہ پکڑنا، اے ہمارے رب! ہم پر وه بوجھ نہ ڈال جو ہم سے پہلے لوگوں پر ڈاﻻ تھا، اے ہمارے رب! ہم پر وه بوجھ نہ ڈال جس کی ہمیں طاقت نہ ہو اور ہم سے درگزر فرما! اور ہمیں بخش دے اور ہم پر رحم کر! تو ہی ہمارا مالک ہے، ہمیں کافروں کی قوم پر غلبہ عطا فرما۔

It was narrated that Ibn Abbaas (radi Allaahu anhu) said:
"When Jibreel (peace be upon him) was with the Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ), he heard a sound from above like a door opening.
Jibreel, peace be upon him, looked up toward the sky and said: 'This is a gate in Heaven that has been opened, but it was never opened before."
He said: "An Angel came down from it and came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:
'Receive the glad tidings of two lights that have been given to you and were never given to any prophet before you: The Opening of the Book (Al-Faatihah) and the last verses of Surat Al-Baqarah. You will never recite a single letter of them but you will be granted it.'"

ءَامَنَ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَۚ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓٮِٕكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيۡنَ أَحَدٍ۬ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦۚ وَقَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَاۖ غُفۡرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡمَصِيرُ (٢٨٥) لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا وُسۡعَهَاۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتۡ وَعَلَيۡہَا مَا ٱكۡتَسَبَتۡۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذۡنَآ إِن نَّسِينَآ أَوۡ أَخۡطَأۡنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحۡمِلۡ عَلَيۡنَآ إِصۡرً۬ا كَمَا حَمَلۡتَهُ ۥ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِنَاۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلۡنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِۦۖ وَٱعۡفُ عَنَّا وَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَآۚ أَنتَ مَوۡلَٮٰنَا فَٱنصُرۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡڪَـٰفِرِينَ (٢٨٦)
رسول نے مان لیا جو کچھ اس پر اس کے رب کی طرف سے اترا ہے اور مسلمانوں نے بھی مان لیا سب نے الله کو اور اس کے فرشتوں کو اور اس کی کتابوں کو اور اس کے رسولوں کو مان لیا ہے کہتے ہیں کہ ہم الله کے رسولوں کو ایک دوسرے سے الگ نہیں کرتے اور کہتے ہیں ہم نے سنا اور مان لیا اے ہمارے رب تیری بخشش چاہتے ہیں اور تیری ہی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے (۲۸۵) الله کسی کو اس کی طاقت کے سوا تکلیف نہیں دیتا نیکی کا فائدہ بھی اسی کو ہو گا اور برائی کی زد بھی اسی پر پڑے گی اے رب ہمارے! اگر ہم بھول جائیں یا غلطی کریں تو ہمیں نہ پکڑ اے رب ہمارے! اور ہم پر بھاری بوجھ نہ رکھ جیسا تو نے ہم سے پہلے لوگوں پر رکھا تھا اے رب ہمارے! اور ہم سے وہ بوجھ نہ اٹھوا جس کی ہمیں طاقت نہیں اور ہمیں معاف کر دے اور ہمیں بخش دے اور ہم پر رحم کر تو ہی ہمارا کارساز ہے کافروں کے مقابلہ میں تو ہماری مدد کر (۲۸۶)
The Messenger has believed in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and the believers as well. All have believed in Allah and His angels and His Books and His Messengers. “We make no division between any of His Messengers,” and they have said: “We have listened, and obeyed. Our Lord, (we seek) Your pardon! And to You is the return.” (285) Allah does not obligate anyone beyond his capacity. For him is what he has earned, and on him what he has incurred. “Our Lord, do not hold us accountable, if we forget or make a mistake, and, Our Lord, do not place on us such a burden as You have placed on those before us, and, Our Lord, do not make us bear a burden for which we have no strength. And pardon us, and grant us forgiveness, and have mercy on us. You are our Lord. So then help us against the disbelieving people.” (286)

Thank you so much for this video. I genuinely pray that Allah gives you the best of this life and the best of next life, protects you and calm your fears, and conceal your fears. Only Allah knows how much I was going through. The people around me aren't really religious completely, so I felt awkward like they see me differently, behave differently, talk to me differently, ask me how can I clothe this way and stuff, or why won't I date,excluded me from plans even today. This video just calmed me down completely. May allah bless you.

Walahi, whenever I listen ustad Nouman, i hear different beautiful message of Islam, which makes me proud and happy to be Muslim. Sometimes the sheikhs in my community( somali community) not all of them but the ones I happened to listen are not so convincing, look exactly angry as u mentioned, and some of the stuff they’re talking about are rigid and hard to fathom. U go to the masjid happy and excited and came back from it feeling like headded to jahannam, deeds not accepted or In heartedly bad person. Thank u Ustad. Walahi i love u and met u in los Angels several years ago. However, I follow, listen and learn from you every time. You and sheikh Omar Suleiman are the the light of this young generation walahi, a lot of them go to the mosque coz they listen to you guys. I love you and may Allah give you and your family the guidance and protection in this life and hereafter.
