Im at the dentist's office listening to Ustadh 😂😂 y'know what i love about him is that he's not just Islamic teacher but he's good at understanding the business world and bringing islamic knowledge in that aspect. I've seen so many people complaining about living in the west and wanting to move back because its "unislamic" when i know people from their home countries would love to live in the west. Islam is universal and we can survive anywhere with good advice from quran.

Im a chemical engineering grad. Used to work at oil n gas industry for 8 yrs. Now im a full time homemaker raising my 7 year old son. With all the education bckground and work experience i had, im using tht to nurture my son, teaching him things that nobody taught when i was young.
I pray to Allah empower us with knowledge and resources that we can use to benefit others especially the younger generation insyaAllah.
    Lets do syukur together.

As a newly-turned 40 year old, I'm more capable in every single way than I was when I was 20, and don't really feel any "older". Thanks to this channel and others like it, I am finally learning who I should be grateful to for all that I'm blessed with.

Such a coincidence! As a single mom of two teens I was actually thinking the same thing in the last few days. I was feeling so hopeless, thinking about how to bring about change for our ummah in a short time. And then Alhamdulillah I found hope and energy again thinking my goal for now is to invest my time, energy and resources in the upbringing of my children.
May Allah swt guide us upon the right path and bless us with wisdom and strength to be the best parents possible. And may every next generation consist of even better and stronger muslims than the previous one. Ameen.

When i keep my home tidy and clean using the tools that make it so easy(vac-mop, dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer) i see this as showing shukr. On the other end, if i am being neglectful, aside from being sick or injured, i feel its an act of ungratefulness. Self care i think is showing shukr, as well as caring for thise placed in my gaurdianship. Ao many ways anyone can show shukr no matter how much or how 'little' we have materially.

I have recently added in my phone a new list of things I have to do.
One of things is Shukr Contemplation of 5 minutes.
Plan is to sit alone silently (or say Alhamdulillah silently) and be grateful to Allah by counting some of his blessings. The main way to Shukr is using his blessings in a pleasing way but I think this can also help.
Alhamdulilah Allah has guided me to the same topic this week.

mashaAllah it was a really good khutuba, something i really wanna add onto again, is no matter where we are, in whatever condition we are, sabr and shukr are necessary in order to help us grow and survive. Let our Prophet Muhammad SAW be an example, how he had to go through so many trails yet did he once said ya allah why me? he accepted all of those trails and hardships as mean of his lords love for him, so why cant we? this dunya is nothing but a beauiful lie, one day youre gonna be in the grave , no spouse, no money, no friend, no father, no mother , no teacher, no sibling, will be there with you? so why attach ourselves so much to this dunya, when its just meant to break us apart? yea one should invest, but not exceed a limit, where you love one more than allah, for Allah is oft forgiving, most merciful, he has the highest authority over all beings, we are his slaves, his favourite of creations, we have the choice to do good or bad, the angels and the satan both are giving us their positive and negative influences, respectively, with the angels being the source of good and satan as the source of all evil, the thing is we need to repent and learn why we are here and just be on the straight path. FOR OUR LORD HE LOVES US THE MOST , and my mercy extend over all things. TRUST HIM he will open doors for you and he will make it easy for you, after hardships comes ease, thankyou for reading in allah huma barik

My sister always used to ask me ,just be on religion but not like that, this Dunia is temporary and u have just to do ibadat 😂, now if she listens to sir Nouman doing tafseer of Quran specific part where Allah is addressing hazrat Dawood to do big things in Dunia , literally she will be surprised 😅, bcz our Deen don't ask us to be in a cocon till death, sir u explained it in a wholesome way. Jazakallah

Very great lecture. Need to hear more lectures from u … … I m also turning 40 😮and should be grateful for that .. I realized their in no such thing staying happy or happiness … we just struggling all our life to stay happy … but we could not … because that is not reality .. Important thing is how much our heart is content and have gratitude… after studying too much about positive psychology I came to conclusion… if there no gratitude we can not stay positive or happy … that y I realized why it is mentioned a lot in Quran .

Some ppl get married and have children after 40 so some of this lecture is very assumptive, I think it speaks about mental maturity rather than marriage/children

    • @daniashoaib9407
      @daniashoaib9407 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Yup you're correct. He mentioned marriage because generally Muslims tend to get married before their 40's as it's included as a part of ibadah (living in accordance to Allah's Will).
And even if not married according to their personal opinion, at the age of 40 one eventually has the feeling of most of his worries (not all of them) settled down. Generally most of the people (not all of them, again) have a job, a house/any place to live, better health, mature mind and much more :)

I need your prayers to get good marks in my finals🤲 I really want to make my parents pround and happy😢❤
Edit: this khutbah made me more motivated to work harder. It's not only about my parents it's about thanking god for what he gave me.
