- Surah Al-Ankabout was revealed at the height of Muslim persecution in Mecca and, according to Nouman Ali Khan, mentally prepared Muslims for their immigration to Medina. Its opening aya is a profound lesson about what we often forget at times of distress. Allah reminds us that true believers will be thoroughly tested in their faith, just as gold must be exposed to extreme heat in order to be purified. Muslims suffering under the current circumstances must remember that they have protesting the violation of their civil rights ever since Allah’s message was revealed. Allah will give protection to those who struggle, those who show confidence in Him and do not flinch in bearing the responsibility of upholding the religion.
I couldn’t thank Allah more. Just when i was about to break into pieces, i found my way by this lecture. It's a big sign to me from Allah. Alhamdulillah. May Allah always bless Ustad Nouman Ali khan and give him more wisdom to be our leader in true path.

This is such an important subject. In the Western culture there's such a sense of entitlement, where people who undergo adversity are suspected of having failed to competently run their lives. Westerners are almost phobic regarding adversity. Finally someone makes it clear that it is through adversity that we grow. I really love these lectures!
Subhanallah what an incredible speech. The test from Allah is what strengthen our Iman, having taqwa is essential to believe in Allah’s plan no matter how difficult the trial is. I’m currently pregnant and my husband just left me, it’s truly the most devastating time not having a husband or family nearby for support while going through hardship of pregnancy. Please pray may Allah ease my task. InshAllah I’ll come out stronger out of this ameen.

Alhamdulillah. I lost my words to say something of his convincing words. He makes me feel again how Quran is our LIFE. Muslim world needs him and like him, a group of young scholars. This is a hard time to bring the Young Muslims back to d right path.
May Allah reward this man with the most beautiful castles of Jannah thank you so much! Whenever I feel like I go astray these videos help me so much to hold on to my faith stronger.
Wake up in the morning say Alhamdulillah for all good and bad. If bad times come say, " thank you Allah keep bad times coming as you wish, I won't complain but say thank you for the trials, injustice etc because at the end of the day my faith remains as strong as if nothing bad happened." Don't let negativity destroy who you are inside, keep your mind and heart clean of hate and watch how life repays you with happiness, a future to look forward to and most importantly inner peace, a priceless blessing to have. Life is too beautiful.

May Allah bless Nouman Ali Khan for sharing with us his knowledge of this great deen, and may He strenghten him to keep giving these amazing, heart lifting, and very much needed khutbahs. If only all people, especially those whom are misguided or have been misinformed of the truth, could find their way to his words, and so to the words of Allah. Al Ankabut - "Have people assumed that just because they have said that they believed, that they will be left alone? And they are not going to be tested thoroughly?"
Allah uses the word "yuftanoon" which come from "fathanah" which is used in the saying of impure gold. The process of purifying gold is very intense and you need extreme heat, you have to burn and put it under excruciating heat to melt it and then finally remove the impurities to result in pure gold. This is so impressive! It infers that we are going to have to go through intense testing, it will be tough! To accomplish purifying ourselves. It also demonstrates that we are like gold, loved and cared by Allah SWT! ❤

Jazakallahu Khair Brother Noman Ali Khan
He who utters a 100 times in a day these words: ‘La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘ala kulli sha’in Qadir (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him; His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),’ he will have a reward equivalent to that for emancipating ten slaves, a hundred good deeds will be recorded to his credit, hundreds of his sins will be blotted out from his scroll, and he will be safeguarded against the devil on that day till the evening; and no one will exceed him in doing more excellent good deeds except someone who has recited these words more often than him.
And he who utters: ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)’ 100 times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
