Exactly, no reason for those dams to be a 100 percent capacity. There are never droughts in this part of the state, this is just poor management, and that's why the other dams aren't having the same damage, they should really fire whoever is running that place and put someone who's is competent in their place.
Exactly! Nobody seems to worry too much about fixing dams and levee's during drought years.. but let it start raining hard for awhile and suddenly it's an "emergency!" smh! 😕
I'm being told that the concrete apron that is supposed to extend out from under the dam and spillway that protects the earth under the dam from eroding, is gone basically. And that's why they are continuing to let out more water than is coming into the lake, to lower the lake level relieve pressure on the dam and make reserve room in the lake for any more heavy rainfall events (think tropical storms and the like) that might occur over the Trinity River watershed that extends north of Lake Livingston up to Dallas basically!
Neglected by officials now it’s your problem 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

“If you want to evacuate, go ahead! It’s voluntary!”
- No immediate danger
Sooooo, which is it.
Hey look another messed up dam that hasn’t been fixed!

Just how was the dam damaged?

Nobody has the money to voluntarily evacuate their homes right now.
