If you can’t see the road under the water? Don’t go there, it’s not worth your life.
Thanks dad!
South Texas is considered the Rio Grande Valley, not Houston. I'm not being nit picky. Your misleading headline misses the region you are reporting on by 350 miles.
You correct as a Texan.
Yankee reporting.
Well Houston is still in southern Texas. 🙄
Also they said southeastern Texas.

Same story different day… pave more parking lots, and divert the water to rivers.
My poor town. We’ve never had this kind of disaster.
A lot of the locals don’t have the financial means to handle something like this.
Especially the ones south of the dam, it’s typically a lower income community. That’s their whole life, that’s all they have is their homes….
The area is prone to flooding and has been a flood zone well since they built the man made lake that caused it, stop with the BS excuses
@@williamelewis464Have mercy and mercy will be shown unto you. With your lack of mercy I would be fearful
I’m surprised no one blames Russia or China this time. Normally someone would pop up and blame them.
Russia🤓
the rain flood is from China!
Do they normally just oen the dam and let it flood into the city?
Yep!
Yes. They have to alleviate stress on the dam to keep it from breaking (which would wipe out almost everything downstream) via controlled releases. The water released eventually makes its way downstream. Unfortunately, migration to Texas has led to developers building homes and subdivisions on wet land that was normally used to help absorb some of the water that came from upstream. Now it's all concrete so the water just sits, the drains back up, and the streets start to flood. After that, homes take on water.
So they essentially que tip it @@jaredweiman2987
@@jaredweiman2987thanks. So it’s not the developers fault. It’s the grade of the state fair allowing developers to utilize certain portions of the land to build. Homes makes sense now everybody suffers in that area.
@@Gofamily222 living by not only a lake but also a river is very risky :/
This is nothing new for Texas, it has happened before and it will happen again. People need to make better life choices and that includes were they live and the dangers it presents
Its the same thing everytime but the people in charge aint done nothing they dont care man
That’s the Houston TX metro area one big flood plain but man made!
Someone flushed a toilet in Canada and it ran down to Texas.
WOW!
I live in S Houston, we barely got any rain at all. Most of it was North and West. Stay dry, folks.
How many people have a high-water vehicle? 1?
Houston area is supposed to be marsh land...
Actually it’s supposed to be the ocean floor, all the way up to the panhandle

Oh man, Mayor Sylvester got voted out. When I moved to Houston from Ohio I was looking for a job and I wrote Mayor Sylvesters office and they actually reached out to me and had several jobs.
This has nothing to do with politics. Unless you want to go back to the 1950s.

So what does Marjorie Taylor Green think the people of South Texas have been doing to annoy god?
What genius builds a house in a place called river bottom? It's called a flood plain for a reason.

Luke 21:25-28 is a verse spoken of by Jesus Christ that foretold some of the signs and world conditions that would indicate the end of the age and his promised return.
"25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man (Jesus Christ) coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 How to be prepared- Search > The Romans Road to salvation - What is it?
At least the victims can sue the state now for flood damage.
You must not be educated. You can't sue mother nature genius
It’s “an act of god” as they say. No chance!
@helenpauls1496 no, apparently you have no understanding what that means the water is literally being blocked from reaching the ocean because it's been dammed up by I10 construction.

Governor Abbot asked mother nature to help with illegals.
Have donnie, Abbott, and Cruz bring ya'll some paper towels! And dont ask for one dime from Joe Biden!
Im so sorry, but unfortunately, Biden doesn't even know what a Texas is.
Houston is a deep blue city. You are aware of this, yes?
Austin, Dallas, etc. are too. But regardless of how you feel, they're entitled to federal aid paid for by your taxes. The only exception to this would be if you agreed to let them secede from the union. Which you won't.
Joey couldn't find the time to help the Americans in Palestine, Ohio. I doubt he will even talk about this flooding .... without a teleprompter.... pause.
