The problem I keep hearing with this Co. Is shotty material, missing supplies, and the lack of interest in correcting the problems. Too many areas of the process that may go wrong. The vulnerability is too high.
All this talk about sandwiches got me hitting pause and running for a sandwich and watch the rest of your show. :-) Yum Thanks Kerry. wish the montage was a little larger!.
I agree to put pricing at end because, well, most wouldn't finish and just leave a nasty comment. BUT when you have decent pricing, try putting them up front and tease the best til last.
Hey Karry it’s been a long time since I commented on your video, but I am in the business and this review is one of your best, good pricing, great quality and very interesting and affordable housing units! That said your viewers must be aware of international shipping cost plus insurance along with US Customs duty and delivery to their site! Keep these cost in mind and work with a Customs Broker to avoid headaches! I am a retired CBP Officer so my advice will make the process easier!
A fully constructed dwelling would be my preference. Most models you talked about did not include laundry, only one. I would like to know how they adjust their models to meet local requirements and if there is additional costs . As always, thank you.
Can you do a show breaking down your top 5 2023-4 prefabs in price categories. $100k, $150k, $200k, $300k. $300-? Can you assist your viewers with your vast amount of info. Help!
I second this as well. Currently looking at pre-fab homes in California that look like homes and not boxes but finding the costs similar to stick built starting at $500K. I thought the whole point of pre-fab homes was to find affordable housing.
Another great product to come out of Australia, just like the lawn mower and clothes line (better for the environment than an electric dryer). Proud to be an Australian. Keep up the good work Kerry.
The price isn't that bad considering the style and size. Lucky AUD and CAD along with NZD are basically interchangeable most days so there isn't much of a price shock when converted to Canadian. Other than perhaps issues with cold/snow loads I'd take one for life here in Alberta!
Hi Kerry! My unpack travel policy is if I’m going to be staying more than 2 nights I unpack and hang my clothes. Anything less, my clothes stay in the bags. I say this as someone who travels a lot for work. It just feels nicer on longer trips to not have to dig through my back to get what I want to wear. ❤
It's a great product and the prices are better than any other company in this market. I like the steel framing. To compete in the US market they need to hire people in each region that has experience assembling the houses.
Unfortunately this company looks good on paper but in reality they are not using the best business practices. th-cam.com/video/j2kLnoyRrno/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ynyA_yp6bkAxoZ9G
I have a question, I’m designing a small custom house. I’m jumping through hoops juggling the energy requirements. There’s glass to floor area ratio, R-value in the walls, R-value in the roof, R-value in the floor, thermal mass requirements…. And MORE. How do these units pass all these restrictions?
Thank you Kerry! I like it but I wonder what the taxes would be to get that into Italy and then up these tiny roads in the town I live in. I am actually in the States visiting for a few months. Maybe we will cross paths.
Pre-fabs that will ship worldwide is great, but at what expense? I really want the Skali Back Country. The unit's base price is $215,000. That even seems high for 432 sq. ft. Adding shipping brings it to $355,000. So much for a tiny home being cheaper. You still gotta add land and preparing the land. I think I could build a house on my land for that price. Sigh.
I wonder what the thermal perfomance of these steel framed homes is like. I would guess not very good due to metal thermal bridging but including R values would be nice
Not having a closet in the last Montage model may not be a big deal personally, but that will prevent the unit as being described by an appraiser as having a true bedroom which will impact the value.
Light gage steel, no termites chopping through the framing. @4:58, the bedroom being at the front is fine so long as the street door is not in there. 😂 @5:58, put the kitchen on the wall where the built in cupboard appears to be and leave that long expanse of space for storage and a media centre. The problem with a lot of these mod homes is the expanse of glass. There is no wall space for furniture/storage.
Wow. Top notch modern design in these three models. Prices seem within reach.... waiting for the other shoe to drop on shipping, or other costs, but I'm getting somewhat optimistic on this one. Thanks Kerry!
My concern is finding a qualified installer in my State and many contractors only built in urban areas where they are located. The ones in rural areas, build stick frames with house wrap and I do not want inferior construction or skill sets.
I would love it if your video show at least one of there builds in real life. All your info is on the basis that they are able to produce these finished structures.
Love it ...wondered why AU didnt have nice tiny homes ...this company are up there but still alittle concrete thinking in design compared to Europe..but Im hopeful and at least its in my country..lol
Really nice homes and reasonable prices ? 👍 Since they're built on the lower half of planet Earth I'm guessing the shipping cost is practically out of this world. AmIright ?
This prefab house is very beautiful and wonderful. Thank you for sharing this beautiful house model for everyone to know and refer to when building and designing prefabricated houses in the future.
Why can’t the USA design & build prefabs like these?!?!?! The ones available stateside are so hideous?!?! This & the one from Europe are just so aesthetically pleasing
And apparently a scam at least reported by various news sources. Customers etc. not only that they try to harass, threaten, bully, extort, anyone who speaks up about it, especially if they can't get the customer support, or the customer has not been given what they paid for. Shady shady shady. I don't see how Australian people put up with that crap, when they used to be some of the toughest people, noted on this planet. I don't want the citizens to put up with that crap. Not in the least at all.
Nice Video, cool infos and interesting of a Australian Company shipping overseas, BUT . . . "WORLDWIDE" is not mentioned! No matter if Studio or Farmhouse, ONLY shipped to US, most states or Australia. No Europe, No Africa . . . I guess, shipping will be double then Price? Austrian or German Company is doing the same thing. So i guess the idea was not that new. Shipping is a drag with most companies, some don't even bother with even if you try to arrange for a cargo company with factory pick up! This is what they say on there Aussie webpage about shipping: "Prefabricated models can be delivered anywhere in Australia and the United States in a flat-packed panelized system." ..... Worldwide not listed or mentioned, not even all US states are possible! So look careful, before getting too excited!
Looks great and all, but as a home in the Caribbean, South America, countries or areas where there is poverty and a high crime rate. It’s an easy target as it would be easily accessible lacking security.
Is it rude or crude to find something like these that can be shipped to our lot near Texas but in Oklahoma? Have you ever shipped ANYTHING? Try shipping anything. First it gets weighed. Recently I bought some beef organs. Organs $60, shipping $30. A house weighs way more than chicken livers. I need a house so if you’re going to help could you just list names of companies? I’m getting tired of not being able to buy a prefab house. And I need one. With lettuce.
Problem is almost every prefab shown on this channel is impossible to put in a residential neighborhood due to their size, zoning and other restrictions.
Enjoy your show though, your funny and make it worth listening to.... looking at retiring on 2-3 yrs in Missouri and looking for something to fit in 5 acres near a large pond/ lake
You should watch the ABC story on Space Haven ripping off their customers in Australia.
Not only ripping them off, but intimidating and suing anyone who posts bad reviews.

i saw all the bad reviews with this Space Haven company. what they did to the customers is truly disgusting🤮
That's interesting. 👍🏻

Kerry - have you seen the 3D printed house for 99,000.00 In Austin TX ? By Jason Ballard. He showed it at SXSW.

Can you address the differences in power from continent to continent? Do they pass minimum codes in the USA?
Thanks.

no
where do you put the furnace, the water heater, and the circuit board in these units?
Love that farmhouse style. Very attractive. Terrific video as always. Cheers!
Those a cool! Thanks for sharing the video. The construction design looks solid.
Always look forward to your videos. Thanks again.
Glad you like them!
Another great product to come out of Australia, just like the lawn mower and clothes line (better for the environment than an electric dryer). Proud to be an Australian. Keep up the good work Kerry.
❤ Love the look. No heat, air, refrigerator, or water heater listed?

Kerry now this video deserves thousands of “ likes “. Great find. Thanks
Good look with a great price!
Hi, Kerry, a map that shows what is available in each area would be helpful. Does this exist yet?
Love this idea!
Price seems great, but might get eaten up in shipping costs.
Sandwich delivery CAN get expensive.

These actually seem more doable than the big teases you usually lob at us, Kerry. (That was my attempt at being surly.)
Thank you, Kerry, for continually sharing with us your dazzling _montage_ of manufactured homes. 💕
Awesome Design One of your best Videos Thanks for Sharing

Thank you Kelly
Wonder how they handle cold weather, like where we are Winters reach -20c
exelent as always
Like the middle model. Pricing seems reasonable
Wow, that's GORGEOUS. I love it. Thanks for the headsup!
Glad you like it!
Looks like a usable option for those looking. Thx man, enjoy all the info
thanks for watching
super cool and reasonably priced!! thanks for sharing!!!
These are absolutely gorgeous!!
Really Kerry.... Australia is on the Opposite side of Earth... what's so hard so understand on their bedroom placement... ?
Wow. Pretty cool.
Southern Missouri is where we are located. I think this would solve a problem we are facing allowing us to be on site whilst our home is being built.
Thank you Kerry! I like it but I wonder what the taxes would be to get that into Italy and then up these tiny roads in the town I live in. I am actually in the States visiting for a few months. Maybe we will cross paths.

Kerry, keep looking. I so appreciate your efforts. So many of us need something affordable in the western US.
Always on the lookout! Thanks for watching

I love the farmhouse model ❤ might just go for it 😊
Even without closets the prices make them very appealing. Then there’s the shipping …
Sweet…worldwide is a plus especially if that includes Belize…and, the price ain’t bad…Thanks for sharing…Poncho C St
You bet!
Are these rather low maintenance on the outside
My concern is finding a qualified installer in my State and many contractors only built in urban areas where they are located. The ones in rural areas, build stick frames with house wrap and I do not want inferior construction or skill sets.
Kerry, I'd like to hear your thoughts on Onx.
44mins, you know we(I!) dont get a heads up on your posts, right! ok, what on todays menu? nice they ship, thumbs up! looks nice!
Prices sound reasonable, let's see how much they will charge for shipping, Thank you for the info💥✨💫🌟⭐
will see if I can find out
Faxed over your t-shirt...😂😂😂 Seriously though, awesome homes!
Two thumbs up for the Mel Brooks reference. 😀
Haha thanks
Hoping that these will be available in the Philippines soon. Ideal also for retirees..❤
I hope so too!
If you fill a container with a flat pack house, the shipping is around $6000
I would love it if your video show at least one of there builds in real life. All your info is on the basis that they are able to produce these finished structures.

Awesome Video great design thanks for sharing
Wow, affordable prices that are more like what I thought most of these homes would be.
So which one are you building?
Great video 📷📸

Thanks Kerry. I'd take the sandwich too 🎉
I don't follow $90k for approx 300 sq ft🤷but you are just giving a quick description. ❤
Thanks for posting the price so I didn’t have to wait. That’s an okay price for what you get but I imagine shipping will cost a fortune too.
Thanks
Love, love the exterior design. Ever consider standup comedy? JK thanks for this video!
Hey you. ok that is nice that they ship but the price for them to ship is the problem
whats the price to ship look like?
Can't imagine shipping cost on top of install on top of initial cost.....
Thanks Kerry. They're even affordable!
Awesome video subscribed to you channel
Hi Kerry, I like your last name! Have you ever been to Tarnów in Poland? It's a nice city close to Krakow.
Not yet!
the terrarium is about to go down under too
Great prices!
Couple, 2, 3 taps on the old like button? Consider it done.
Maybe Australia should hold off exporting them and use them domestically ? Although Canada’s housing problem is just as bad if not worse ….
How much for shipping to U.S. I love the style. What Ports the East Coast or West Coast?
Good question! I'll see if I can find out

Let's face it, Aussies and Europeans just have better design standards and USA are stuck in delusions of grandeur.
