    I have a female co-worker from Cambodia-she says even though the Pol Pot regime ended a long time ago that it is still not a safe country-but your rides make it seem very inviting to me. I lived in China for 4 yrs, seen Russia, Mongolia, DPRK, S. Korea and HK. The only nation I wouldn't return to is Mongolia-the people and food are fine but it's a cold desert.

    • @travelwithsupercub
      @travelwithsupercub  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That’s nothing further from the truth. Cambodia is now a safe country to visit and I encourage you to give Cambodia a visit. Therefore, you can explore more about my country. I welcome you to Cambodia 🇰🇭

      The costly licensing requirements may limit me to a 50cc, but beyond that all bikes cost the same regardless of displacement and 125 cc is the next licesnse class. Correction, over 100 million Super Clubs have solde Corolla is 2nd with 60 million. I told my Cambodian coworker that you disagree with her.@@travelwithsupercub

    If you go to Mexico, you have to go to these little road side stands that serve Torta Cubana (toast,egg, sasuage, avocado in smokey chipotle sauce) for breakfast or Tacos el Vapour Saborizado con Cactus de Maguey (steamed beef tongue tacos seasoned with mageuy cactus and pico de gallo).

    Even on super cub you need gear. I learned that hardway, when I went from normal road to gravel too fast.

    • @johndefalque5061
      @johndefalque5061 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I wiped out on gravel ona a Honda 360 twin, got 100 pebbles in my knee and bet the bike frame. Also wiped out on gravel on a Yamaha 750 Maxima, I wasn't hurt but the bike was-lost all oil, fairing shredded down one side.

      @@johndefalque5061 Once in my life I went in summer scooter gear, meaning shorts and tshirt no gloves and I flew over handlebars going downhill to heavy gravel, when good road ended. It disconnected my carb and my phone was on charger few kilometres away, so I could not call for help. Luckily I had the screwdriver to repair it, but with bloody palms full of stones it was quite a pain. My knees were also full of blood and stones. I call that event instant karma, because I knew whole time importance of proper gear, and always took it, except of this one short ride.

    • @johndefalque5061

      There is nothing more dangerous than gravel on pavement! I let my license expire in 2013, here I am at 55 having to take the test all over again but you do so with much more seriousness than you did at age 18. I will get body armour. I am also going to get a minimoto or scooter, not a giant bike.@@michalviktorin6758

    I lived in Mexico for 2.5 yrs-a hot desert is a million times better than a cold Mongolian desert! I also hate HK as it it costs the same for a bowl of soup there as a good stay in a nice hotel in Shenzhen. The problem with rich nations is you have to be rich to live in one and HK is not at all very British anymore, can't tell it from the mainland.

    Shit mosquito netting-reminds me of my apt. in Zhuji City, Zhejiang province China. Get one of those electric tennis racquets and kill those little bitches by the hundreds with every swing! In lake country in the Cdn. Shield, blackflies are 100X worse than a mosquito-the itch is excruciating, they leave welts!
