I think the deal with the PROJECT A-KO soundtrack is that the Japanese producers of the film gave some indication to Joey Carbone and Richie Zito in Los Angeles what kind of music to compose, but they didn't actually ship a rough work print of the film to LA so Carbone and Zito were in the dark as to the plot of the movie. But, regardless, it suits the lighthearted mood of the film even if there's no real connection to the plot.

It's a problem with all media. Once it gets too big, people who shouldn't be there start to dig their fangs into it, as they see an opening for exploitation. Just look at Starwars Battlefront 2. The original BF2 was amazing, but it also wasn't suppose to be a cash cow. But then EA got their dirty hag claws and absolutely ruined it with their evil poisonous gambling schemes. Also A-ko reminds me of Ranma for some reason.... though it might be the other way around.
Because people today have extremely underdeveloped amygdala. It's involved in the level of complexity that people are able to think at - in creativity. There is nothing to be done about it.

A parody of anime up to that point is a hell of an introduction to anime

I love the fact that there's bass slapping involved! That's literally one of the best parts of '80s songs alongside the synthesizers!

Okazaki Ritsuko the singer of this song sadly pasted away in 2006. She continued to follow her dream until her sudden passing.
Eszra this song isn't sung by her at all though. Her songs were great as well though, the opening for fruits basket is amazing
