i came across your comment here and was like, 'huh, i swear to god ive seen you before', and then i realized i saw your other comment under the video of the sana rap lol
WHAT the? In japanese? Was this the only song they did this with? How very odd. I mean, i had the bootleg, fan-subbed VHS version of the anime, as well as the original japanese audio cassette... THEN, the USA CD (which frustratingly rearranged the song order) and legit VHS... and i NEVER heard this!
I believe the Japanese language versions of Dance Away and Follow Your Dreams were recorded for Project A-ko 4: FINAL but I have not been able to confirm it.
Apparently the A-ko sound track was composed and recorded in America and the songs originally were in English. That would explain why they seem to fit as English songs....they started as such!
@@MelissaWickersham-k4o Yes, true! I'm guessing that the director just really wanted songs with English vocals and they collaborated with an American studio to make that happen. 😁
Fun fact: This is sung by C-ko's voice actress, Michie Tomizawa!
One of my favorite songs from the movie and I did not even know there was a Japanese version.
Awesome !!!!!!

Megumi Mori LIVEMAN
Super cool !

There is also Japanese version of _"Follow Your Dream"_.
Jinzo Clash There was a single in Japan with the Japanese versions of Dance Away and Follow Your Dream
Where in the world did you find this? I never knew they recorded a Japanese soundtrack...
Same here! However, thanks to TH-cam for finding our favorite songs! =D
What album did they record this for? The Japanese version sounds good

Very Good!

I like this version better, also. John.
This is great song. Like other commenters, where did you find this song at?
Nice, i like japanese.
Cool Song, where did you find it it?
Whoa. Was this song originally done in japanese or English? I know I was surprised that the subtitled movie featured English songs.

Awesome. So the anime was kind of an international co-production with America providing much of the soundtrack, right?

With all due respect for Annie Livingston, I think I prefer this version.
You mean
The Go-Go's !
Credit to Annie that she sang it so fluidly that you couldn't tell it was a translated song.
I can appreciate the English lyrics a lot. The song is so well written and motivational.
Frankie TV the GoGo's had nothing to do with this anime or it's soundtrack.
It was a bad joke, nobody else think she sounds like Belinda Carlisle?
@@増田夏美-d7c”Dance Away” was written by an American and its lyrics were originally written in English.
