I remember watching a doco on Netflix called Killer Legends, about where popular horror icons get their names from, and yea the candyman was from the pixie stick guy.
But sometime around 2005/2006 I think, when I was a kid. I fell asleep watching a film and when I woke up it was like 5am, and the American news was on, they show that nbc today show here in Australia, before the local news shows start.
I can’t remember where in America, I think it could have been Chicago 🤔. But the story broke a man had been arrested after handing out toffee apples to trick or treaters full of pins, 8 or 9 kids got fucked up, all their mouths got cut.
