I agree completely-I aways feel like I’m stitching with friends while watching flosstube. And I was extra thankful today that you all showed up on my feed to watch. I had such a rough day. I lost my mom a few years ago and today would’ve been my mom’s 70th birthday today. Along with a day that nothing seemed to go right and a lot of frustrations, it brought me so much joy to settle in and stitch while watching what you all are stitching on. ❤
Missy, I’m more than half way through stitching “This is the Day!” The rams and big bird didn’t make sense to me, so I added two bees in the top left over the flowers and intend to stitch a couple of flowers on the right side of the house. Kathy and you always make me smile.
Loved catching up with you gals. Kathy you will enjoy your time at Barefoot. They do a wonderful retreat...I was able to go to the previous fall retreat. ( and now I order those black pony needles from their shop so I will not run out!!) I just finished Erin Elizabeth's British Tier and it was so fun to stitch. Missy, Stitch Away sounded like a great time too. I like your No buy policy for the year but I do not know that I could hold myself to that, especially at Market time. lol I have whittled my WIPs to 11 with a few starts planned as I finish one that I am working on I can start a new one. Give that sweet grand baby a kiss for me...such a special time and one that goes by so quickly!!
Love watching your videos and hearing what you gals have been up to. It is so special that you can each go to different retreats and come back together and share your experiences. If you ever have to come through Baltimore and have a lengthy layover there is a great little LNS about 10 minutes from BWI. I live about 5 minutes from the airport and would have no problem picking you up and showing you our LNS. Just a thought!
Great Flosstube ladies…..I always learn so much from you gals and also my “Need List” always grows. I too love the Primrose Cottage Quakers. I have purchased them all and have completed the Valentine Quaker and now started the Winter Quaker. Love them!!!!! Oh I love your new little intro, it’s really cute. Loved all the stitching and gifts! Cathy what is the name of the pattern that you finished “jingle all the way” , the one with all the embellishments? Cathy, do you have any way of putting a hanging cart that you could fix up really cute to HANG your fabric on? I have mine hanging and it’s sooo easy to go through and looks neat hanging. You can clip a pattern to your fabric as well. You can organize so many different ways on hangers. Ok, you guys have a great week!
