Welcome back, Liz. We’ve missed you. I love your creativity and the way you think outside of the norm. Please keep the flosstubes coming.
So excited to see your sweet face and humble demeanor. Glad you are back. I am sure it wasn't easy.
It was great to see you again! Flosstube #1 is behind you!!
Love all laughter. Thanks for keeping it real!
Hope you’re daughter is feeling better! OUCH!!
Look forward to seeing #2!
I love that….’keep finding things that bring you joy!’
You as well Liz.
Until next time…
Hi Liz, you did great ! So happy to see you again ♥️😘
Thank you Nicola🥰 I always love seeing you and what your working on!!!
Oh my!!! 🎉🎉
I decided to go look for a flosstube video to watch and there you were Liz!!! ❤❤ I missed you & hoped EVERYTHING was okay! Missed your giggling too! You just make me so happy! I know that life can be so hard at times however I love to watch you as well as others. You all make me so happy & I have learned so much!! Cross stitching is truly my therapy!! I have super duper crazy amounts of anxiety. Believe it or not but when I cross stitch I don't have any anxiety. It really calms me down so please know I'm so thankful to see you back!! Life is just too short so I'm happy to continue on & be able to watch you Liz!! ❤❤ Hang in there Liz! We're all here to support you! ❤
I love the painted shaker box that your mom painted. That is a treasure that you will enjoy for a long time.
Utah had a lot of rain this year; hence, a spectacular fall. I didn’t know you were doing floss tube solo and was happy to see this pop up on my screen. Welcome.
Good seeing you again. Enjoy your style of stitching and project choices. Look forward to seeing your next one.
Nice to see you Liz! What do you mean you can't take fancy pictures of your stitching? Look at your video, your backdrop is beautiful! Your style is neat and not overdone. I also enjoyed your video with all your stitching and not so much complete haul.
Thank you SO much Brenda❤ My decorating is pretty simple, but it is me. I don’t have a big budget for haul so hopefully my stitching will make up for it!
So happy to see you! The sun looks like a halo. Hugs and so sorry about your daughter's boo boo. Always hard on us moms too. You did great - see you again soon.
Don’t be concerned, you’ll learn the tricks of filming quickly. I, for one don’t watch videos for haul, in fact sometimes it’s just too much stuff. I’d rather see the stitching you’re doing and hear about your conversions. You have a unique perspective, which I enjoy. Take a breath, and relax. You know people who can give you pointers on filming. Love the finished stocking, perfect, just perfect.
Good to see you again Liz 🥰😘 Love your joy of cross stitch.
Liz! So glad you are back with your own flosstube!! So good to see your face and hear your laugh again my friend! Great first flosstube Liz! You being you is so enjoyable to listen to. Looking forward to your next one!
Thank you for so many things but most especially all your love and support!!! Your friendship means more to me than I could ever express!! Love and miss you❤️😘
That nativity😍 I have the chart and now I definitely want to get it started! Yes, I agree, this is a hobby. Not a competition. A hobby that is a stress reliever and hopefully making some legacy pieces for my family.
Congratulations! Loved your video and wish you much success!!
Everything shows backwards. I am sure there must be some way to fix that. Congratulations on your first solo video. I hope you are still friends with The Antique Needleworker.
Oh Liz I completely understand the high table issues. I hate those tables, I can’t reach anything with my feet either. Reminds of Saturday night live when she used to sit in the giant rocking chair. Feet dangling in the air.
When you stitch on 46 count do you stitch with one or two strands? Also do you stitch over one or two threads?
I love your lamb and house but it was backwards so don’t know who made it.
I don’t stitch Halloween either only fall.
Before I stopped doing Halloween I started Quaker Halloween I love the fabric. I love that it is a Quaker I don’t know what to do with it at this time. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
So excited to hear you are from Utah. I am an Idaho native who went to school in Utah and worked in Utah. I am now in N Dakota.
Oh man I love your Bethlehem. Now I have to see if I can find that chart.
Oh my word I just finished stitching 3 of Shepherds Bush stockings only in the very large size. I have now stitched 13 of their stockings for my family.
Have a great month.
Glad to see you back !
Glad to have you back on flosstube. Only problem is that everything was backwards. Looking forward to seeing more of your projects.
Yes, so sorry about that!!! My husband figured out what I did wrong and it is corrected for the next one. Thanks for watching😊
Awesome video!!! SO happy to SEE you again!!! Plus your OWN channel! Wonderful!!! You look great! LOVE your laughter! LOVE the positivity you always bring to videos!! I HOPE you come back sooner than a month! I'd love to see you every 2 weeks! I love to hear about you, any stories you have to talk about, they are always interesting! I am sorry about your daughter's terrible accident, wow. That's got to be hard for her, I can't imagine.....
I really do hope to see your smiling face SOON, again!!!! I have missed you! NEW subscriber now, also!
Thank you so much Laurie for your kind words and encouragement!!! Your comment made me smile❤ I hope to do them every couple of weeks, time permitting. I have missed filming so I am happy to back and sharing what I have been up to!!
Great video. I enjoyed all your projects. ❤
Why did Liz leave antique needleworkers?😊
Wondering the same if anyone explains.
I'm wondering the same...
That is what I have been wondering….. 🤷🏼♀️
I don’t think we are ever going to know😆
I wish they would both just address the elephant in the room. It would be far better than all the speculation. I have a theory and I sure others do as well.
You might want to check out how to get everything the right way around. All your patterns and stitching was coming across the screen backwards.
Sorry about that!! I don’t know what happened because I had the mirror image thing on and checked correctly🤷🏼♀️ I have my husband on it to try and figure out what I did wrong so the next one is correct.
I’m with you about berry bowls. Yeah no, not for me 🇦🇺

I'm so glad to see YOU!!!!! Today's December 29th and I just tripped over you. My heart is so happy. Happy #1.
Congrats on your first flosstube! Glad you're back, have been missing you and your laugh.
Liz, you did a fabulous job! Your backdrop is gorgeous! Thank you for all your kind words about my stitching! That was a shock to hear my name and it warmed my heart completely! Don’t sell yourself short! Everything you do is fantastic. I hope you continue making videos! Your finishes were absolutely beautiful!❤❤
Yay Liz!!! Love love love your first flosstube and so glad to see you again and catch up with you. Your stitching is all so fabulous. That little ornament stocking oh my gosh. You are so inspiring friend! So glad you are here!❤
So happy to see your face and hear you laugh again!
Not sure what happened with the two doing floss tubes together?? They must have had a BIG falling out! They were good together…not sure if they will survive separate
I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's accident. I'm glad she is healing and will pray for her.
Your stocking is so pretty! I love the size you stitched it. Everything was gorgeous and I loved the story of the flying cornbread.
A wonderful first video and your contagious laugh is the best. Thank you so much for sharing your time and talents with us.
Great video Liz! Such funny stories and your enthusiasm is infectious! Love you ❤❤
Thank you both so much for watching and for your encouragement🥹🥰 You guys inspire and give so much to our community, and I am thankful to call you friends!!! Love you guys❤
I have been wondering about you Liz! When this came up I was so glad to see it right away.
Prayers for your daughter! 😢
I ordered that book! Finally found it. Have been looking since i first saw you show it many months ago. Reminds me of when i took my older children on a one room school house field trip with our homemade butter, milk in mason jars and sanwhiches in baskets! My daughter made a ORS diorama compleye with clay pot belly stove, dunce caps in the corner stools and lo😮Ts of other authetic minis!
Yes, Michigan Is A Beautiful Place!
Thank you for the hilarious dinner story!
God Bless You Sweetie.
"Keep Finding Things That Bring You Joy."
Great Encouragement.
Congratulations on your 1st solo video. You did a fine job except everything is backwards, therefore difficult to read, when you hold it up.
🐦 🪡 🧵 ❤ 🤍 💙
So happy you have decided to keep up your filming. I love your Bethlehem and your stocking is so adorable! I have been working on the Small Sampler for my granddaughter (the same one you did). I am hoping to get to the Hobby House retreat next year.
Hi Liz! Love your video... So nice hearing your laughter and your gorgeous smile! So sorry to hear about your daughter moving and your other daughter's accident. So happy you had fun though at the Hobby House retreat and your trip to Michigan. Looking forward to your next video whenever you have a chance to make one. You definitely are like a ray of sunshine!! Thank you for brightening up my life!! Hugs 😊❤
Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement ❤
Hello! It's so good to see you. I was so bummed when you left Antique Stitchers. You are so down to Earth - I loved watching you on that channel. Once you left, I stopped so I am SO GLAD you are back!!
Thank you❤️ I am glad to be back, and I so appreciate you watching and your kind words!!
So sorry to hear about your daughter's accident. I'm glad she's doing better. I hate those pub tables and chairs. I refuse to sit at them. My legs and feet go to sleep if I sit at them. I also don't like booths. I'm on the fluffy side.....and prefer a table.
So I’m watching your FT in bed nearly choking on my spit from laughing at your story about climbing your friends husband like a ladder to get on your barstool. Not to mention the giggles I got after my husband came to bed and fell asleep. Oh girlfriend, I got to say you have a unique way of getting to know people. Lol So glad your back on “The Tube”. ❤️
Yeah, Liz. So happy to see you back and look forward to watching your next flosstube. Great first video…love your Shepherd’s Bush stocking!
Great video. Nice to hear your laugh again! Sorry about your daughter, prayers for her recovery. Beautiful stitching as usual. Please take us on your EPP journey. That's another rabbit hole I want to go down.
It’s good to see you again! Great video. I’m thinking I might need to try 46 count. I don’t have to use any magnification on 40 but I might have to on 46. Do you notice a huge difference when stitching?
Thank you friend❤ Honestly Katie if you can do 40 without magnification you will be just fine in 46! I don’t need any magnification, but do need good light. There really isn’t a big difference. It just takes a little getting use to, but well worth it in the end because I love how my projects turn out in the end!
What a beautiful suprise to see you back what a fabulous video I hope you come back soon x
Liz your photos are backwards
How super fantastic to see you ! So very glad to share time with you. Just love your stitching , how you make things your own and of course your sense of humor. More than ouch!! Sorry to hear of your dear daughter’s accident, glad to hear she is healing well. Please do continues to do videos and share your time and talents. Brought me a lot of joy here in Northeastern Ohio while recovering from surgery.
I AM HOWLING while you are recounting having to plan to jump off the high chair, I mean stool, because I too am Petite. Ohmygosh, I could not even get my needle in the linen because I was laughing so hard while you were rubbing the man's leg...all so innocent, we've all been there. Thank you for sharing, I adore the storytelling.
Thank you for watching and sharing some laughs with me!! I appreciate the support so much❤
Fabulous to have you back.......loud laughter, snorts and all...love it ❤. Do you have a problem with us Aussies? 😉 I'm sure Brendan has had worse over here. Please don't cut out your 'ramblings' as you call it! Gives us an insight into your way of thinking, life etc. Never boring and it's you being you. Please don't cut your bubbly, caring personality.
Actually happy you didn't show all your haul ( though I look forward to seeing the gifts from retreat). Some flosstubes are beginning to resemble infomercials with the same ' you must buy this and add that' patter being said. Often items being pushed are sooo out of reach to most of us!
Enjoy your conversions and seeing the changes made to charts. Often I'm drawn to a design but don't buy it because it has some motifs I don't enjoy doing. Maybe I'll channel your attitude and adapt it. Thanks so much. Look forward to the next one whenever that may be.
Lisa, Bren took it in stride and didn’t seem to mind at all😂 Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement!!! It means a lot! I fully support you changing things up to make it your own!! It is your stitch that will be displayed in your home so make it reflect you and what you like is my philosophy. I don’t have a big budget for haul so no worries there on me showing tons of it🤣 I am so happy to be back!!
What a great video with so much eye candy! ❤ I can’t wait to see what else you work on between now and the next video.
Thank you friend❤ There is so much more I didn’t show for time sake, but I will be pulling out for the next one!
Welcome! Good job?
So glad to see you back! Love hearing about all your cross stitch adventures. Girl, I’m a retired trauma nurse - holy smokes with your poor daughter 😳. I know that must have been quite terrifying. Prayers for her continued recovery.
So great to see you my friend. Bren and I were laughing out loud when you were telling the Dinosaur BBQ story 😂 That was a fun night. Looking forward to catching up after Market xx
It was such a fun night and wonderful weekend!! I am so glad you guys still wanted to be friends with me after that😂 Looking forward to next year too❤️
Good to see you Liz. Sorry to hear about Grace's accident. Loves your 1st flosstube looking to see many more. Happy Stitching 🪡 🧵 😊
Holy smokes! I’m so sorry about your daughter’s accident!! Glad to hear that she is healing, though.
SO NICE to see you and hear that infectious laugh (I even heard a few little snorts, which made me smile and laugh, too!).
Loved catching up, I swear a few things that I added to the long list, and can’t wait for the next video, when time allows! Love you, friend!❤❤❤
So glad to see you back! Great video!
Awesome first video. I'm so happy to her the laughter in your voice again. Can't wait to see more.
Thank you for all your love and support, and for being a true friend❤️
Love your backdrop! Happy to see you
Hello!! So excited to have you back, hearing your laughter, seeing you smiling and stitching again. Sending prayers for you and your family. Thank you for the reminder to do what brings joy. Flosstube should be fun, and I look forward to seeing your future videos when you have time...Ruth ❤
Thank you Ruth!! ❤
I’m so sorry to hear of your daughter’s accident. My brother took the top off his thumb at three opening his stroller! I’m in Virginia Beach visiting my son and going to a retreat! I’ll be home a couple of days then off to another. I’m glad you’re continuing to be present.
Great to see you back! I look forward to seeing your next tiny stocking. I hope to start my 2nd one soon. I just need to decide which one. My friend and I will be attending Stitch West next April and are excited to be going back to Ogden to Shepherd’s Bush. We were there in 1996 and always said we’d go back one day. Merry Christmas!
Hi, friend! 👋🏼 So nice to see you on FlossTube! I have watched this in dribs and drabs so I can’t remember anything specific I wanted to comment on, but it was a great video! Hope to see you IRL one of these days! 🤗
I just remembered one thing! As a fellow 5-footer, I can totally relate to the high top tables. I hate them!
Welcome back!!! You have been missed. I am so sorry about your daughter's accident.
So good to catch up with you!! Glad you are back ❤
Omg I can relate to what you said about the high tables at restaurant when you are short. I’m only 5 ft too and it’s hard getting up in those darn chairs. I totally get it. I laughed so hard at the flying cornbread!! Anyway welcome back. Your first video was great. Looking forward to more. They make me happy!! Your stitching is beautiful too!!
FYI ….I ordered that little needle box a week or so ago. I just checked my email and it was from a company called Callie. I’m so glad it is legit. I worried too. They say it’s on the way!!
Hope that helps
Have missed your stitching..and well...now I need to stitch the shepherds bush stockings for my tree...AND I am putting up my "winter tree" today so I get it!
Nice to catch up with you again.
Sorry to hear about your daughter's accident. Hope she's doing okay.
Sounds like you had a great time at your retreat. I've jotten down Dinosaur BBQ for the next time we're in the area. However, I understand well about those high top tables. They are certainly not meant for someone our height. I'm guessing that I'm at least 15-20 years older than you, so it is a BIG problem for me.
Hope to see you at a guild gathering.
What count did you do Shepherd’s Bush stocking on. Loved your floss tube.
Welcome back. I agree. Dinosaur BBQ is the best. We ate at the one in Syracuse 10 years ago while on our anniversary vacation. I would love to go back just to eat there.😂 My husband loves their foreplay Cajun seasoning!!!!
So good to see you, Liz! You look so happy❤
You are doing a wonderful job as a flosstube host.
Sorry to hear about your daughter's accident 😢 ouch!
Love Love your Bethlehem stitch. Yep, I'm going to have to call and get that one!❤
We have an Apple🍎 cider mill not too far away, and they make cider donuts there at the mill.
I'm so glad i saw you while i was scrolling through the flosstubes.
Take care
So glad you have a flosstube channel. Hope you can fix your letters they are all backwords😢😂❤.
Great flosstube… good to hear your voice, laughter and life’s stories… God bless to you and your family. Beautiful stitchings👍
Glad that you are back with all of your stitching news. Please note that everything that you show appears to be backward on the screen. I am sure that there is some method to make these show correctly. Love the Bethlehem piece and I am not sure that many people could finish it in the three years that it took you. Great job. I like your idea of mounting it on an old board.
Your 46 count intrigues me. That stocking too! I'm a 32 count girl with an occasional 36 count project about once a year. Maybe I'll get up the courage to try 46.
There's that 😃 laugh love the changes you made,of course I'm all over that french woolen ...color palette excellent...would you share?,continue to do you Boo 🤗
Hi Liz. You did a great job on this video and your background is so beautiful girl! Your laugh is so awesome and contagious and I’m so glad your back doing flosstubes. I am a Michigander myself so I recognized the places you’ve talked about visiting. I will say, you threw me with your “Northern Michigan” comment when you spoke about going up to Charlevoix because I know it’s in the Northern “Lower” Peninsula. Get it right probie cuz those are Youpers up there and they take it way more seriously than I do! Lol jk I lived in Davison (suburb of Flint, also lower Peninsula) my whole life except for my four Air Force years where I met and married my husband and brought him right back to Michigan. He retired in the Fall of 2020 and we moved to Florida. It’s so hot and crowded down here we really don’t know how much longer this will keep us happy. Plus our two kids and grands live in MI! We go back every Summer for a few weeks cuz there’s nothing like Summertime in MI for sure. Anyway, I’m just messing with you with all the MI stuff but I wanted to say hi and I’m subscribed and can’t wait to see more of your stuff. Loved that white pumpkin and your Bethlehem finish. Tell your daughter I hope she’s feeling better. Take it easy. Shirls
Lovely to see you back, is it possible to domehow fix it so we can read the patterns when you show them. At present, they are back to front , if you know what I mean 🤔. Hope your daughter is healing well 💕
Oh my, that stocking is absolutely gorgeous!
❤❤❤❤
Would you ever be willing to do a tutorial on how you do color conversations? I'm so intimidated to even attempt it.
Loved this video!! Really enjoyed seeing all of your stitching! That Penny pumpkin finish is sooop cute! Love it! Love your laugh too! It sounds familiar! Lol
So happy to see you!!! 💕 Looking forward to your next video, hopefully soon!! Totally love your French woolens (also loved your Woolemina!!), and your Penny Pumpkin! I was listening to this while driving my kiddos to a field trip this morning and you got my son laughing about the flying cornbread 🤣
I’m so glad you enjoyed Northern Michigan! It’s really beautiful and I can see why it reminded me of you East Tennessee. I can’t imagine your daughters injury! I’m looking forward to your next video! Loved the shaker box! See you soon!
I know exactly how you feel about those high tables. I too am only 5 ft tall!
Thoroughly enjoyed your video. Oh my, we are so alike. I am 5’ and hate those tall tables and stools - oh my goodness. I too am a plain finisher and have never bound the 7 Shepherds Bush stockings I have made. I do love the button your friend add to the hanger on your stocking. Happy Stitching and Greetings from New Zealand. Please come back soon
Your my kinda stitcher. Here and there in the box outside the box. You go girl. Love it. Love your stitching. Loved the Bethlehem stitch and your penny pumpkin. Will look forward to your floss tubes 🥰
Glad to see you; love your backdrop. Happy to see you're going to continue your stitch videos. Please - keep on truckin'
Looove dinosaur bbq. It’s the best. So happy you are doing floss tube. Missed seeing you.
Liz, your video had me laughing and smiling! I just love your little stocking! Your nativity stitching is gorgeous and I love the idea of putting it on old barn wood! I definitely want to stitch Ann Pegg 1877! Prayers for your daughters healing! One of my brothers and my dad had accidents with fingers. They both healed up well. I'm so happy you are doing videos! I love your stitching style!!
Great "FIRST" floss tube. You certainly have been missed. Love all your life updates, although your daughter's accident sounds so horrid. Prayers to her for continued healing. I live in upstate NY and know well the Dinosaur BBQ. I've eaten at the original in Syracuse several times, and the Albany one only once. I now live closer to Binghamton. I need to check out Hobby House as I'm not familiar with them, but as a quilter and a stitcher I guess I need to see where they are in respect to where I am. Looking forward to your next video.
Hate high tops. Not only to sit on the bar stools but also once you get in the chair, you can’t scoot in.
Welcome back Liz. I was very excited when you popped up. You crack me up. So much fun. Wow that sure is a beautiful Shaker Box your mother painted. I hope your daughter heals quickly. What a dramatic time for you all. Cute finish on the photo holder and that stocking is adorable. 🧡
I really enjoyed your video. Looking forward to many more from you. You bring a lot of joy which we all need to hear these days. Thank you for sharing!
Great video, just to let you know that your video is backwards.
Nice to hear that you enjoyed Michigan. I live in Michigan and love our state. I am not far from Rachel - I am just outside of Traverse City. Beautiful place to live!
I loved visiting Rachel so much, and you live in such a beautiful place!!!! I would move there in a heart beat!!!!
Nice to see you again. Great for the first time alone. Need to get pictures so they are facing the right way for us here at home they are backwards to us. Keep it up. prayers for your daughter may she continue to heal and get back to work.
Holy grapes!! I have missed your laugh.. you look amazing and your background is so beautiful!!❤ I'm 4'10" so I understand that!!! Oh my I want to go out with you I bet it would be a hoot! I am enjoying every single moment! I enjoy listening to you and not so heavy on the purchasing. 😅 no pressure ever.. just make a quick short laughing and telling a joke! 😂😂
Good to see you again.
Great projects!
Hobby House sounds like fun.
Marilyn
What count linen did you use on the stocking ?
I used 46ct Seraphim Prairie Grass😁
@@thewanderingstitcher1608 Jan did a fabulous job ! Hoping to bring her some more stuff to finish when we come to stitch away 😊
@@dawnbrinker2384 I am looking forward to meeting you there, and yes she is meticulous and does a beautiful job on all her finishing for sure!!!
Enjoyed your video. We enjoy Dinosaur BBQ in Troy. I am originally from the Albany area but live in Western MA now. I am with you, I like simple finishes.
That is where I first tried it!!! We lived in Clifton Park. I miss it for sure! Along with a lot of other mom and pop shops we loved. Thanks for watching❤️
Welcome back! We have such similar tastes in patterns and colors, loved everything you showed, especially the stocking. Looking forward to the next video 💕🪡
Hi Liz so glad you made this video. You certainly have had a full plate lately. Hope your daughter's hand injury is healing. I laughed like crazy about your adventures at dinner. Love your stocking finish! You do beautiful work.
This was an *awesome* video, Liz! I think you made everyone want to attend a retreat, stitch a small, and start decorating for Christmas on 11/1! I’m sure you don’t remember me, but we met at Stitch-Con ‘21 (I think that’s the year - I’m Amy)! Meeting you was one of the (very) few highlights of that retreat for me. 😂 (again, you won’t remember, but everything was going wrong for me that weekend - including my car dying! UGH!). But, it’s so, SO nice to ‘reconnect’ with you here on YT! I’m sorry to hear of all your family drama recently - that’s NEVER fun. And, as a daughter who won’t move far away from her mom, I can just imagine how you must be dreading your daughter’s upcoming move. It’ll just make your future visits mean that much more…
Anyway, I loved your video and look forward to the next one - whenever that may be! Take care of you!! ❤❤❤
Fantastic video Liz... it flew by! I loved hearing about your retreat fun. I'm going to my first retreat in January at the Attic and could not be more thrilled! Your darling stocking finish is perfection! Looking forward to seeing more you when it works for you- your style and enthusiasm is what I love about Flosstube. Happy stitching🍁🍂🌻🥰
Thank you so much for you kind words and for watching❤ You will absolutely love Sampler symposium. I know Brenda said it is her favorite!!!
