My daughter is a great photographer and took a picture of the arch when they visited last year; I know have a framed copy of her photo so it reminds me of making that. How fun that your friend know Jeannine and could share with her. I'm sure Jeannine loved it as she loves the stitching communities creativeness!
Wow Brenda what a stunning finish parade. You give me hope that i might eventually finish my oldest wip! Your American sampler is a beautifully rich piece, and a great way to finish your finish parade😅. Also loved your New Normal, your colour choices were very restful to look at. I am blaming you for sending me down a Jardin Prive rabbit hole😊. I have followed your stitching progress since your first flosstube, but dont comment often, however as a newly retired individual i am hoping to get my stitchy fingers into gear and get some finishes too. I'm a relative newcomer to your Flosstube but today I caved and sought out The Colours of Water (okay I might have added a couple of other charts as well since shipping to the southern hemisphere can be extremely costly 😁). That piece has been calling to me ever since I first saw it. You have made me very happily enabled. Now on to the WIPs.

You are so brave to go to the birdhouse on the other end. Eep! I got scared and decided to just stick close to the ones I already have. I have a history of faulty counting. The egret tiles on the right remind me of Disneyland. The cobblestone kit is so pretty too. I mean they all are. Love the thankful bag. 45 finishes is insane!!! You are amazing!

I love your videos. It's inspiring to see all of your wips. I have dozens of charts I want to work on. I call them WATS....for "want to stitch." They are waiting for me to find time to work on them. They are not works in progress yet (WIPS) because I haven't started them yet, but I am kiting them up as I can afford the fabric and threads. Is it so fun to make plans on what I will stitch next. There are so many beautiful charts on the market now. So many creative folks making lovely charts. And I want to buy them all! Thank you for making your videos. Your WIPS are awesome. Makes me want to go to my box of WATS and turn them into WIPS.

I was writing as I watched but lost it all. But I have so many favourites! But lost no more pulls at my heartstrings. Have been looking for even the chart but hard to find. I use Treasure Braid with the white on Christmas afghan. It gives the snow a sparkling affect.

Great to see you again! Wish we had some snow here in Portland, Oregon, so that I could work on a snow project. So many wonderful finishes! My daughter and I are still getting great joy out of our Artisan stands! You are truly an inspiration with your variety of projects!
Hi Desiree!! I am so glad you and your daughter are enjoying the Artisan stands!!! I still love, love, love mine :) You just need to do a rain project! Or maybe a sun project that you work on when the sun comes out (that is more rare than rain, lol).
You have been like a house on fire with your stitching this past year. I think , because our big projects take a long time to finish , the small projects are necessary finishes to keep us hopeful. Lol. Your Dad's woodwork is gorgeous and seeing your 2 projects on his wooden frame on your first finish is wonderful. I was glad to see it again! Finish parades are the best, so thank you for taking the time to make one. Living in Lubbock, Texas, we can't really do a snow day or rain day stitch, but I love the one you chose to do.❤

It’s interesting how I’ve picked many of yours to work on this year! Santa’s House, Honey of a Tiny Town, Dimension’s Village, Keep on the Sunnyside…etc. Love that your dad makes your frames. They are stunning. I showed my husband and he is going to try to make some for me. We live in the mountains of NC with lots of oaks, maple, etc. I’m almost finished with A Perfect World by Scarlet House for my friend…and a local wood frame would make it a perfect gift!! Amazing stitching! You have some fantastic organization. I love the last piece you showed and how you squeezed the words in and added another row to create balance. So creative! I love stitching on the birdhouse SAL. I started in the middle and just stitch a house a month. I think I would go crazy too if I stitched all the fence at once, but breaking it up works well. I still have to get it out this month but I have a few more weeks. Happy New Year to you!

I just discovered your channel and have found so much Great information already. I'm in search of a lapstand and you've provided so much great information on other videos. I had a question about the multi-colored sampler pattern you showed at the end when you talked about the pandemic. Did you say that was from long dog samplers? I took a look on their site and could not find it. it is beautiful and I love the color choices you made!
Hi Stacey! I probably called it the wrong name, lol. The pattern is named "The New Normal" and yes by "Long Dog Samplers". It is charted as monochromatic, but I chose my own colors :)

I love these video's they are my favorite time of the year. Im about to do the American Sampler, by Sandy Orton. But im pretty scared of the specialty stitches. Would it be possible you could make a video showing us how you do them? That would be very appreciated.

Brenda, where did you purchase the paste board box for My Stitcher's Heart? What count did you stitch it on to get it to fit correctly?
Hi Beth! I used the called for fabric, which I am pretty sure was 32ct. And I went to the website listed on the pattern to buy the box. I just followed the directions on the pattern :)

Hi Kim!!! Rarely, usually it happens when I am dealing with something extra traumatic in my personal life. I do get burnt out on certain pieces though. When that happens, I think of all my WIPs and choose one that sounds fun, or I know would be easy soothing stitching. But losing your stitchy bug is such a bummer!!!
