When replacing the front cab mounts, wedges, and rockers what is the best way to brace the door opening or is that only necessary when the body is completely off? Trying to make a plan to do this at home, thanks for the great video.
Keeping the body on the frame and leaving the hardtop bolted on is by far the easiest way to retain structure. We use "door bars" that bolt across the top of the door opening to keep it from flexing. Once you cut out the cab mounts and wedges you may need to use a floor jack to hold the front cab structure at the correct height to avoid sagging. Also measure, measure, measure. Test fit the doors if you can through out the process, a hassle but not as big of a hassle as them no longer lining up once you have everything welded in.
Ive been watching a a bunch of your videos. And I think you guys should be more hands on working and less talking about it. Visuals are more valuable. Start welding panels!

What are all the little holes in the surefit wedge for? Tack welds?
Yes, exactly! For spot welding in the plates to the inner rocker. The plate helps distribute some of the force along the inner rocker.
How long do the door braces need to be to keep anything from shifting?
