Great stuff. One point that isn't mentioned is that Book Bolt has a monthly fee. If you want all the goodies it's $20/month or $200/year. Not to discourage anyone, just something good to know upfront. Also, a note from me as a graphic designer - templates are a great place to start, but if you want your products to stand out, you need to create your own designs. Otherwise your book will just look like everyone else's and won't sell.

Sorry but a gross exagerration of what you can make. I know people with hundreds of books for sale , following all the usual advice about keywords, etc. and are only making a few hundred a month after all that work. Sure, some do earn large amounts but this is a super-part time hustle and is becoming increasingly saturated and most will earn little-to-nothing. So many of these online gurus are overhyping these sorts of things.

@@ty6390 Not sure I have the answers & I don’t think there is one way. For me, I found a product category that had very little competition and it happened to be something that I enjoyed. I would say start with your passions & see where it can go and realize you will make mistakes or feel like you are failing. But, be persistent and keep working to execute your goals and things will work out. Success should not always be quantified in $$$. Yes, we are all here to learn how to make money, but building something of quality that helps people is just as or even more rewarding. Good luck!!!

I did this over the summer. I created five notebooks using bookbolt and it’s relatively easy for newcomers. I got a little discouraged with using WiFi to upload. It took way too long. I made three sales… to my mom. Yup. But she says they’re really good quality. I’ve not see a hard copy yet. It helps to promote your books, otherwise they get lost in sea of low content journals. BTW, I have a background as lead graphic designer and in marketing, so I was super excited about this opp. But again, need hardwire on desktop and prefer my fave designing software.

I've been seriously considering trying this, and probably will at some point. My only hesitation is thinking that it's already a saturated market. But it can't hurt to try it!
I do this and it is very slow going,, I have had a few sales but honestly, not sure if I would recommend it. I work hard on my books and I am very proud of them, but the market is supersaturated and if you don't already have a "foot in the door," it is hard to get sales. Plus, Amazon takes a long time (60 days) to pay you (I think less if you are their star sellers).

It’s all about finding your niche. Plus, I guarantee most kdp sellers do not have a tool like Book Bolt.

It's a waste of time & money. Bookbolt is $10/ month. I created 10 books a month ago & haven't sold a single one.
I followed your tutorial, which is great. but when adding a book to KDP it askes for a Manuscript to upload. How do I tell it to make blank pages? Thanks.
Hundreds of books later, I've made a grand total of $1.30 with Amazon KDP. It's not SO easy. I'm no exception to this.

I've been doing this but it's not automatic or easy. You need to research what to publish and there is no guarantee your book will sell. But it is a great place to begin a hustle, refine, and work to build a business.

I've seen A LOT of channels like this over the last 4 years, demonstrating and suggesting how to make money online, with the aim of funnelling people through to their training usually. Or just absolute trash with the aim of making loads and loads of terrible clickbaity content. Obviously, everyone is doing it to get paid but it's nice to see quality suggestions from someone in this niche.
I've only seen a few of your videos but it's refreshing to see some genuinely good ideas for remote work jobs and side hustles. Another recent video of yours has encouraged me to give local marketing another shot. I tried previously but never with google ads, which is actually something I quite like. Putting it all together as a business is the challenge. You've encouraged me to try again.
