- In today's vlog we do some Halloween Horror Nights 26 homework and watch Krampus. We give you our thoughts on the movie and why would think it'll work as an HHN26 house! I loved Krampus!! It's just such a fun movie to watch, I'm honestly waiting for this house the most at HHN. I do hope they include a lot of snow in the house.

OMG! Krampus was AMAZING! It's so 80's horror nostalgia with a modern twist! I give it 5 out of 5 stars
We felt the same way halfway through Krampus (that it was kind of lame and not a horror movie or really a comedy) and then by the end, we really liked it. I can't wait to see the HHN house this year! It's going to be awesome I think.
My wife has never fallen in, but I have twice (my friggin son keeps leaving the seat up!)!

Haha Jenn's toilot story was funny. Her "I hope it never happens again" was cute. Also loved Bandit's got a girlfriend song. The whole vlog was fun :)!
Krampus is gonna be a pretty good house! I agree in that the movie isn't scary at all, but the house is gonna rock!

Krampus is the Xmas movie for horror movie fans, just like Trick 'r Treat is the Halloween movie for Halloween (holiday) fans.
we have the real Krampus here in Austria. its funny to see the Movie! Its more like an Comedian as an Horror Film when the Gingerbread-Men´s are attacking the old Man haha
I just wanted to tell you guys that your great and so relatable! I've actually enjoyed your vlogs and now my 9 year old watches them from time to time as well. For him, it started with your review of the Toothsome's Chocolate Restaurant. He thought it was cool. You guys kinda remind me of my husband and i. Anyways, keep of the vlogs...they are great!!!

I didn't think the movie itself was scary but I think it'll be a good house because the feel and the atmosphere of the movie was scary.
By the way... I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the movie "Trick R Treat" in anticipation of Halloween Horror Nights! Have you guys seen it by chance? It's a brilliant anthology type of film, but the seemingly stand alone stories aren't actually. It is sooo good. It's actually my favorite Halloween themed movie.
Aw I love Trick r Treat! They totally should watch it!!! That's such a great modern Halloween movie to see!

Glad to see so much love for Trick R Treat! Let's see... another movie that I really enjoy, just because of how much it scared me when I first saw it, is 2007's "30 Days of Night". Just the remote setting, in the dead of winter, with help nowhere near by, really scared me.
Also, 2012's "Cabin in the Woods" is absolutely fantastic. It's gory, sure, but in a sexy way. It's also so artistic and brilliantly done, which is why it's probably my second favorite horror movie in the last 20 years.
Lol. Toilet story. Yea we all have those moments when things don't register in our brains Jenn.

Iain Harrison Agreed! It's actually my favorite, and you'd be surprised how many people don't know about it. Sam is so cool! I actually have an small electronic version, which walks and has sound effects. lol
+FireCracker3240 That's so cool you have a puppet of Sam, I did see something about Trick R Treat 2 so that's something to look forward to, hope that Sam is in the sequel, I had meant to buy the original film but never got around to it, I've seen it.countless times when it's been on Netflix or Amazon Prime and other such streaming services.

Try this to keep the fog off you lens - Get a ziploc bag large enough to hold your camera. While inside in the A/C, put your camera in the bag. Put the bag and camera outside for around 15-20 minutes before you want to use it. When you take your camera out of the bag, it should have warmed up to the outside temp inside it's dry A/C air in the bag and since it's warmed up, the humid outside air shouldn't fog your lens.
Forgot to say zip the bag closed inside and keep it that way until ready to use after warming up outside
I thought Krampus was great! It successfully pulled off that balance of Halloween meets Christmas that is very rare and hard to do. Just like Nightmare Before Christmas, Krampus will be a movie I could sit down and watch to get into the spirit of either season. I do think seeing it in a dark theater setting helped the movie though just because of the size of the sets and Krampus himself. Going back and watching it at home doesn't have the same impact. It is still, by far, my most anticipated HHN house they have ever done for the sole reason of wanting to see how they pull off some of the massive sets put mostly the use of puppets! The movie had very little CGI with only the Gingerbread Men getting the CGI treatment. Everything else in the movie from the creepy Jack in the Box to that crazy bear were physical puppets that hopefully Universal recreates! A little concerned about the house location being inside Shrek but we shall see how it goes! Hopefully they can really chill the building because Krampus without a cold temperature just wouldn't be right.
Put both lids down and then everybody loses just a little bit (because everyone has to touch the toilet), but nobody loses big time like you did. X-D

I'll risk the spoiler just to watch the vlog. :) I need advice... First scare "house" ive ever walked through since im a child was the Walking Dead. I screamed out of fear that something was going to pop out, not that the house was scary. I walked out thinking that wasnt that bad. Do you suggest me going to HHN? Or into any house in particular where I won't have a heart attack? lol
I would probably wait until after the first night of HHN has passed, after the houses have been experienced. Please understand I was every afraid ever when I went to HHN for the first time last year and now I'm really looking forward to it. It's all on how you choose to take it, I'd say. (one of the things that made it easier for me was knowing I couldn't touch them and they couldn't touch me, maybe that'll help you too!)
leave a camera outside to acclimate to the temp. if you have camera inside then being it out, it will fog.

I'm going to be honest here Jenn - i'm 31 and I've never fallen in the toilet, and it's taking every ounce of brainpower to visualise a situation in which somebody could…!! Maybe I'm just missing something obvious here, but how does Tim leaving the toilet seat up contribute to you falling in the toilet?!! I'm so confused over this! :-D

I may be the only person watching your vids who has no idea what HHN is or the movie you watched. My speed seems t be MNSSHP, even though I've never been! :)
It's a Halloween event at Universal Studios that's hosted on select nights. It's a ticketed event where certain places throughout the park are heavily themed (haunted houses/Halloween decor/ cast members walking around in full costume/character). MNSSHP is a more family oriented than HHN at Universal. :)
I COMPLETELY AGREE, Jen! Why do most women expect their partners to put the toilet seat DOWN when it's just as easy for US to put it UP! 🤔🤔🤔

yeah that was not a great movie but it was something cool to pass the time with , but krampus is a thing they have parades once a yr in Germany . he was told to be a Christmas season creature opp of santa that punishes children who have misbehaved. but if you look it up you will see that men dress up as this krampus and break into the homes . they tell them lock the doors dont come out till the next day , i think that is why this movie scared some people because its true act in some areas .... but i agree the movie was not that great but something to pass time . but i am sure its going to make a great haunted house .....
