    I'm trying to learn Trombone along with my 10 year old son. We learned more from your video than the whole music book he was given at school. Thanks. Do you have a video on how to produce the correct sounds with your mouth, that the hard part!

    Is it sad I’m here because after 2 years of high school I got put in a class that doesn’t want to play and it wore out my note knowledge so I came here to refresh and become 1st period

    your chart is very helpful, I play upjpmeoum so I can read what positions is each note. I can sort of play by ear but I'm not great at it.

    Why do C and F use # but A B and E all use b?

      Because for beginners those are the most common accidentals for those notes. But as you get more advanced you learn that those same notes can also be called Db, Gb, G#, A#, and D#.

      @@StepWiseMusicEd are there any rules around when to use either sharp or flat? Because I've noticed on sheet music its usually only one or the other shown. And why is it they don't usually mix the 2.

    Keep on playing at 04:32 and play "c'est si bon" ;=) nice tool but i can play without naming any note I should I know...

    He doesn't explain what "partial" means. How is he playing the different notes on the same position?
    Is it done by the mouth piece.

    Hey look, another video on this channel that features a guy who has no business talking about what he's talking about. Each trombone is different, not every trombone has the same placement of positions. And if you're going to provide an example of how it should sound at least use a good tone quality.
