We are here for you!

Our campaign is about sharing personal stories. In our “We are here for you!” series, people who have a close family member serving a prison sentence tell their stories. The stories are about their lives, in which prison was present for a period of time, which tore them apart.

They share with us their own personal experiences. What was the hardest part of their time away from each other, how they managed to keep in touch, many without seeing each other in person for nearly two years, and how their absence from each other affected them emotionally or practically.
Our aim is to show, through the personal stories of relatives and released prisoners, that the reality of prisons is not as far away from us as we might think. Quality contact is one of the strongest threads leading back to the outside world. It is family and friendships that enable people who have been imprisoned to reintegrate into society.

Én azt tudom ehez hozzá füzni..Én hozzám 7 és fél évig járt a családom pici gyerekkel.2011 ben szabadultam és azota nem voltam a szeretetükben-de nem rajtuk mult ez mert a társadalom inkább azon van hogy minél többen kerüljenek ilyen helyzetbe.Szomorú ez a társadalomra nézve-a háttért a miértet nem nézik-nem voltam gyilkos-köztörvényes voltam.Szarok én erre a társadalomra a segitségük nulla.

Ezt csak az értheti, aki átélte ezt. Én 22 évvel ezelőtt átéltem. Ha egy szóval kellene leírom, azt a szót választanám, hogy SZÖRNYŰ.
A legrosszabb az egészben, így visszanézve, hogy ezt azóta sem tudtam megbeszélni senkivel sem 😢
