Beautiful! Y’all have done an amazing job of planting out your yard. Adding native plants which are host plants and pollinator plants will bring in lots of bumble bees, carpenter bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

For carrot leaves, you can let them dry on your counter and ground it, it is full of good minerals and vitamins. We use it as we use dry parsley. So good!

Blessings to you guys! I just watched your Costa Rica recap and if you ever considered doing a retreat that included elements of musical worship/dancing, prayer, scripture meditation, that would AWESOME. Its so hard to find the intersection between BODY and SPIRIT in Christian circles. So often we Christians focus on Spirit and neglect the body (why do we do this??). I think you guys have a real opportunity to do both. Love your channel!

Hands down best channel on YT! I love the headboard and had a good laugh when I saw it then immediately sent it over to Cyrus so we could have the same set up 😂 Dusty your killing it with your home and landscaping! Erin agree on the lettuce and celery! I did find one tiny organic health food shop in Oceanside that has a small selection. About to hit up the farmers market as it’s one of the oldest in California and it’s right down the road from my house! Here’s hoping for amazing fresh organic produce! Our bamboo and birds of paradise is taking off and it think it’s because of the drip system! Our Midnight blooming Jasmin was incredible but now it’s drying … I will need to check the sprinklers and maybe we can switch to drip system for that. Thank you for all of your tips! You guys rock! Please do a family retreat! The kids could garden and be in nature and we would love to take some WFPB cooking classes from you! Keep crushing it! Love your videos! God bless you 🩷

I don't know what's around in your Florida area now, but back when the Thomas Edison home used to be open for touring in Fort Myers. One neat thing was the salt water pool, when I was a kid that seemed very advanced even for the 2000's never mind early 20'th century, as pool salt didn't become common until maybe the twenteens. The house was surrounded by banyon trees to offer shade and windbreak. The house itself had doors on all for corners to let the air through.

I agree! I think even if we buy organic greens or celery, I find it's a bit funky tasting or just not tasting as good as it could. I think it's because of the soil. If we buy organic it's good, but maybe not as nutritious if soil isn't healthy.

There might be some tomato and zucchini picking farms around if you look. Definitely try planting okra - the vegetable of the south ,and eat it straight up raw.
The humidity may limit this idea ,but a tapestry or very light gauzy fabric or artwork behind the bed may be a nice alternative to a headboard.
By the way - did the organic matress services offer futons? I just happen to be curious if that's available to me at all (especially in stores in the Midwest).
A screen linai may be nice for your pool as well as hurricane shutters for your windows.

Another inspiring video, love your dedication to your home and family. Dusty you are an awesome dude and Erin rocks as always. The house and garden look lush and healthy and all your hard work is really paying off from when you first moved in. I love that the kids are part of the process and it is literally one of the best things you can do for your children to have them participate in growing their own gardens. You guys are doing it all right!
Do you follow Gaz Oakley who is a vegan chef in Wales UK? He just sent out an amazing video on a visit to Charles Douding of HomeAcres who is a famous grower using the no dig method. Very inspirational all around!
I agree Whole Foods has lost their quality and they seem to be offering more non organic produce now.
Better to grow your own! 😊❤

Hi ever-one from Scottish highlands.. Just thought you would be interested in a technic called electro gardening.. Seems to make a difference from the small usage I have applied so far.. Just have a look on u tube.. This comes from around the late thirties and forties when food was short in Europe ..A great deal has been written on this from that time.... Copper wire acting as a conductor when placed around stakes that support plants in the garden.. Copper Must penetrate the ground>... Se what you both think!! Kindness ever-ones way Lochness Scottish Highlands

Produce has been so bad. Our watermelons are rotten the next day, our apples brown as soon as you cut them. For example the green apples are supposed to brown the slowest and I cut them for the kids and before I can put the plate on the table they are brown! Obviously this is all organic. We have started to use azure standard for produce as well as all our other stuff.
