The player board is a great quality-of-life improvement, making the game setup so much simpler and easy to explain.

I bought Nemesis Lockdown recently, time to wait for this one, which looks incredible! Retaliation reminds me of a mix between Nemesis for the universe, Deep Madness for the oxygen, Subterra for the discovery of the map and Zombicide for the horde, with a little touch of Space crusade ! Is this the perfect Game ? I realy love your vidéos quality 🤩

That’s a very interesting comment. Those other games are all among my favorites. So if this somehow combines them in a fun way, it will definitely be a winner. I have the original Nemesis and it’s one of my favorite games so I have high hopes!

Interesting changes, some seems like improvements, some less so. Quite different from original game or Lockdown.

Super excited for what is essentially "Zombicide Nemesis"!
And that's the reason I will miss this one. We went from "survivor horror, run and hide" to "kill and explode". For that, I'm rather playing cthulhu death may die

Some nice ideas in this, but also a lot of remixing the same.
The alien miniatures are problematic. They just don't pop like in the original and they don't convey the Alien feeling.
"Nemesis Lockdown" fell flat for me because the alien miniature designs came out pretty bad in it. (Well, and because it was basically the same game like the original but worse and more complex and weird and more expensive.) The original Intruders and Void Seeders miniatures are so much better. Maybe you should go back to those to figure out how it could be done better for "Nemesis Retaliation".
The alien queen miniature here doesn't fit at all, it should not have humanoid shape!
I like it, but the aliens look very small and not threatening
Yeah because player went on crying that minis are too small and then they decided to make the characters bigger without raising the games costs... What a fail.
much better than original nemesis huge plastic figures covering entire tiles just for the sake of being "big" and not in scale compared to hero minis. Now it's actually practical, instead of being typical kickstarter like big plastic boardgame
Looks like they are copying the Zeg from starcraft now with that human ish queen , not sure I like it.

Hm. Not sure I like magazine symbol to discard ammunition.
The magazine symbol, is supposed to cause damage to the weapon and triggers the rejection of ammunition during gameplay. Although it is important to keep in mind that this is a prototype and still some small details, names or less important rules are still being modified and may change in the final game.
Can you say "All in day one"
commander may order the other players around? sounds super annoying and interuptive for players playstyles 🤔.
If i remember well, there are cards that you can use to stop the order or let you disobey an order.

@@NerdAndProudOfIt you're welcome. Also i think you can choose if you want to use the orders or maybe play a game when everyone Is playing by their own decision. So it's up to you.

@@NerdAndProudOfIt i'd like to buy One of the previous Nemesis's title but i really don't know which one...never played One. I pladged already Retaliation. Did you play the OG and/or Lockdown Nemesis? If yes which One would you recomended?

I dont know... i love nemesis but that retaliation feels boring, nothing exciting. Probably a better zombicide but worse than cdmd
Gameplay looks fine if not a bit less interesting than the prior 2. Also, the queen miniature is really really bad. Completely clashes with the rest of the game....

Well… The extant Alien species Nemesis already has had covered most typical archetypes we know from pop culture. This one definitely stands out from the rest, which is better than having another queen that’s a derivative of the ones already seen in the game.
I mean, it's no different than the Locust Queen in Gears of War 🤷

I dont like aliens minies at all, much worse than in original Nemesis, small and not creepy.
The good thing, the previous aliens should be compatible.
I mean, in the original Nemesis, usually you did not have to place many aliens in the same space. In Retaliation, you would have to do that quite often, so it would be hard to place many large minies in the same room. That's probably why they made them smaller.

W wyrazie "retaliation" wymawiamy pierwszą sylabę jako miękkie ri a nie twarde słowiańskie RE. Wyraz "purple" czytamy w uproszczeniu jako pe(r)pl. Wyraz "alien" czytamy ejlien. Wraz "return" to nie jest żadne return, tylko rite(r)n. Można tak wymieniać i wymieniać. Zanim nagracie - puśćcie ten swój tekst choćby przez google translate, żeby wam poprawnie przeczytał wszystko aby pominąć tego typu pongliszowate horrenda.
