The perfumes you don't care for, if you don't offer them to friends you could have a tray of them in your guest bathroom for friends or family to use when they stay with you. Especially if they are in cute bottles.

I completely appreciate the charm of advent calendars - they bring daily joy and excitement! However, I made a personal choice to stop using them a few years ago. It became a bit overwhelming to accumulate 25-100 new items in my home every year, and I often had to let go of many, which honestly felt super wasteful... Especially considering I already have my core staples, and I might not want a random eye mask or various mini mascaras/perfumes that don't even perform, ya know?
After years of watching consumerism-driven holiday content, it's all just become a bit daunting. I wonder, wouldn't it be lovely if we shifted our focus away from materialism and embraced the simplicity/innocence of DIY gifts? Or no things at all? It just feels like a constant cycle of buy, buy, buy as a viewer. Just a thought to consider 😊❤

And as I get older (now 28), I'm just ready to put my attention and money towards things I actually value and use. Not just a bunch of new things (because there will always be new things to try).
I get that you can give away anything you don't like, but that's not exactly thoughtful either. NO disrespect at all to Michel or anyone on YT. I just personally feel like my brain can't take any more hauls or show-and-tells. The beauty industry is SO saturated now and many people are going into debt because they feel the need to buy all the things they see and want to try (not even use up, just try!)

@@chibbylife Such a good point, and that really is THE point - the harm of clutter and waste. Our planet is suffering and it would just be so nice for people with an influence (that we adore) to be made aware of ways they are harming and can help the planet..
This is such an innocent video and I really do understand the fun in it.. but even Michel didn't seem pleased with a lot of the items in each box. Tons of perfume, and mascaras, and skincare that clearly isn't even wanted. But purchased? Intentional spending, and even better, reusing or valuing what we already have IS the way to go moving foreward. Way rather see other videos in my personal opinion. But I digress 💖

This is exactly why I love watching unboxings of the calendars. Not everybody can afford them but it's fun to watch them being unwrapped. I almost feel like I'm unwrapping them. Thank you for that. 🙂 Plus we get to learn certain products that we might want to go out and research and buy.
It is an ice mold. You can fill it with water (maybe even mix in some serum) and freeze it, and then you have your ice roller.

The reason I'd like this product would be the customization with adding some thing in the ice that I might love for myself.
If your family members or friends happen to like different scents than you, you could use the perfumes that don't work for you, as stocking stuffers or little add ones to Christmas presents
I love seeing advent calendar videos! One tip for next time - try not to open the mascaras until you are ready to use them! Mascaras only have a 3-month shelf life, and once you open it, you're starting that clock because you've exposed it to air and pushed air into the tube. Just keep that in mind!

Benefit Mascara & Brow (pencil & gel) products are AMAZING! I Love that toning foam. I’m older and love it on my skin. That primer is great as well. I can tell the difference. It’s one of the only primers (IMO) that works.

So reminiscent of days gone by ❤ the finishing touch would be that you try some of these in your grwm videos and share your opinions with us 👍 especially the mascaras, brow "stuff", neck potions, and retinol. Some of this is so pricey for tight budgets and since you have it all on hand...😊

The ice roller is how you think it is. You add water through the hole in the container and put it in your freezer to solidify. When you are ready to use it you take the top off and use it as a roller on your face.
I love the Anthropologie advent calender. I get that one EVERY YEAR.
