My parents and I left the Catholic Church nearly 40 years ago. We have attended a Protestant Church ever since. We have had nothing to do with Catholicism. I was child, so I knew even less than my parents did. I don’t remember anything about going to the Catholic Church other than it was cold, depressing, and if I turned to look over my shoulder, I got yelled at by a mean old nun. This information he is talking about blows my mind. It makes sad for Catholics.
Catholics go to give. It's not about getting. ( At least not suppose to be). There is nothing wrong with obedience and discipline. One of the most controlling churches I have ever attended was a bible non denominational church. I was shocked how the congregation treated the pastor as God. Threat of hell. It's sad when someone has a negative experience when attending church. It's found across the board....

We are participating in the eternal bloody sacrifice of our lord, Jesus Christ. We don’t re-sacrifice him at every Mass. His sacrifice is eternal. In Revelation 5:6 we see the slain lamb-a sacrifice still being offered for the sins of mankind.

Amen. Jesus says to the crowd, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved." But in reference to the same people, Jesus immediately follows with "He who does not believe will be condemned." This demonstrates that one can be baptized and still not be a believer. This disproves the Protestant argument that one must be a believer to be baptized. There is nothing in the Bible about a "believer's baptism." "Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior," or "Ask Jesus into your heart" isn't the biblical answer. It’s important to be saved from hell, damnation, and the stain of original sin, but what are we saved for? We are saved for union with Christ. Our salvation began when we were born again through baptism and God’s own Divine Life was restored in our souls, making us like Adam and Eve were in the Garden before the Original (first) Sin. As we go through life, we are united with Christ through the Sacraments he left as gifts for us, especially through Penance (forgiveness of our sins committed since Baptism) and the Eucharist (partaking of God’s own Life, His own Divine Nature, 2 Peter 1:4) - until that day when we are truly united with Him in heaven. Scripture teaches that one’s final salvation depends on the state of the soul at death. As Jesus himself tells us, "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31-46). One who dies in the state of friendship with God (the state of grace) will go to heaven. The one who dies in a state of rebellion against God (the state of mortal sin) will go to hell. (For the teaching on venial (non-deadly) and mortal (deadly) sins, see 1 John 5:16-17) What I must do to be saved: *I must be baptized with water and the Spirit. Mark 16:16, John 3:3-5, Titus 3:5, I Peter 3:20-21. "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God" Hebrews 13:16. Good works don’t save us, but we will be judged by them. *I must strive to be holy. "Strive for peace with everyone and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14 *I must endure (persevere) to the end. Matthew 10:22, Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13. And ... ? What else must I do? Catechism #432 The name "Jesus" signifies that the very name of God is present in the person of his Son, made man for the universal and definitive redemption from sins. It is the divine name that alone brings salvation, and henceforth all can invoke his name, for Jesus united himself to all men through his Incarnation, so that "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Baptism is always followed salvation in the Bible. Even Jesus said you must be born again and then get baptized. It’s your first step to obedience to the Lord and following him. But you don’t have to be baptized to go to heaven and salvation is the most important part. The sinner on the cross was saved and went to heaven and he was never baptized. Baptism does not save you! Accepting Jesus as your savior is the only answer and it is the blood of Jesus and his sacrifice that saves us and there is no other way to heaven! Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through him! It’s clear you don’t read your Bible because this is written all through the New Testament. Christ offers His salvation as a free gift (Romans 5:15; 6:23), that can only be received by faith, apart from any works or merit on our part (Ephesians 2:8-9). As the apostle Paul tells us, the gospel is “the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile” (Romans 1:16). The same inspired author tells us, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

What is charity other than helping the needy? Charity is clearly considered among good works. "And now there remain faith, hope, and charity, these three: but the greatest of these is charity." (1 Corinthians 13:13). This clearly puts charity BEFORE faith, so to say "faith alone" is all that is required of us is clearly contrary to Scripture. Rom 2:6-7 Here’s what Paul says: For he will render to every man according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. Then there's verse Titus 3:14, where Paul says, “Let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need.” You see a need, and in love you try to meet it-that's a good work. Good works are the overflow of love for Christ that meets the needs of others. This is exactly what Paul says in Titus 3:8: “The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works.” By your stubbornness and impenitent heart, you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of wrath and revelation of the just judgment of God, who will repay everyone according to his works: eternal life to those who seek glory, honor, and immortality through perseverance in good works, but wrath and fury to those who selfishly disobey the truth and obey wickedness." The irony of this confusing teaching is that even Paul (who didn't actually witness John 6) proclaims, that NO ONE should receive the eucharist in an unworthy manner. And, so there were absolute silence from these accusers....Bam!
If you read 1 Corinthians chapter 11 carefully, Paul was talking about observing communion in a respectful manner. After all, it is about what Jesus did for us on the cross. Paul said: "20 Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper. 21 For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you." Now the word eucharist in not in Scripture, but Paul says in verse 27: "27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord." And so what are people consuming? Bread and the Cup (wine or juice). Not flesh and blood. And so what does communion symbolize? The body and blood of our Lord. There is nothing confusing about it if you read and accept Scripture at face value.
@@spacecoastz4026 I do appreciate your perspective. It however remains your perspective, despite the divine revelation adopted by the early church fathers, including, Peter, Paul, Barnabas, John and so many prior to their death. I would take your word for what its worth. Sadly, your word somehow conflicts with the teaching and understanding of the Apostolic succession instilled by Christ.
@@DavidLTJ And I don't believe that your assertions are correct. Paul, Peter, John, James, etc didn't say anything to that affect. In fact, the Gospel of John doesn't even cover the Last Supper. Also, Paul says (supposedly after consecration) that it is of bread and of the cup. See 1 Corinthians 11 verse 26: 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. Jesus has a physical glorified body..in Heaven. And eventually all those who are saved will too. But Jesus is not here....He said he is not here...but will return some day.
@@spacecoastz4026 The teaching of this scripture is difficult. The bread of life discourse begins in John 6:22, and the first point to address is the discussion of the heavenly bread. Jesus makes the point that as the Father sent manna from heaven for the physical nourishment of the Israelites, he has sent Jesus for the spiritual nourishment of the world. When Jesus announced this (6:41), the Jews murmured because he said that he had come down from heaven, not because he said that he was like bread. They understood his symbolic statement regarding the origin of the manna, and were scandalized by what it implied: “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does he now say, ‘I have come down from heaven?’” (6:42). Beginning in verse 43, Jesus replies to these objections. At the completion of his answer (6:51), he speaks of a bread that he is yet to give. The Jews’ understand that he is now speaking in a literal sense, and so they object, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” So the Jews first objected because of what Jesus’ initial words meant symbolically, and now they object to what his second statement means literally. Had Jesus been speaking in a metaphorical sense here, this would be the perfect point to clarify his intentions. Matthew 16:5-12 is one such example where Jesus’ listeners thought that he was speaking in a literal sense, and he had to correct them. In this passage, Christ was warning the disciples of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. The disciples concluded that he was speaking of the bread they had forgotten to bring for their journey. In seeing their confusion, Jesus had to reiterate that he was not speaking literally of bread. Keeping this in mind, look how Jesus answers the Jews’ objections in John 6:53-58: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. . . . For my flesh is food indeed, and my flesh is drink indeed.” These words would hardly quell the Jew’s fear that Jesus spoke literally. Following this, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?”(6:60). At this point, we witness the only place in Scripture where anyone leaves Jesus for a doctrinal reason. Had Jesus been speaking metaphorically, what would have been so hard for the disciples to accept? Paul understood this, hence his warning to fellow-Christians not to take this eucharist in a sinful state. I don't believe your understanding is aligned. But be that as it may, God bless!
@@DavidLTJ I don't have a problem w/ the real presence. However when the Lord's supper was specifically addressed by Paul, it wasn't whether a person was addressing the real presence or not. That could be implied by "not discerning the Lord's body", but Paul did not amplify that. Paul upbraided the church for sloppy practices over overindulging, drunkenness and not respecting the Lord's body.
Thank you Jesus for Your One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church I praise you for blessing us with the gift of Your Body Blood Soul and Divinity in the Eucharist.

Ok, I am 38 seconds into this video, and Mr. Gendron is already off to a painfully wrong start: 1.) The priest does not "sacrifice Jesus as a victim..." when consecrating the bread and wine: The priest *re-presents* Christ's death and resurrection for our salvation. By doing so, and as a Vicar of Christ in that moment, it is then Christ Himself who makes Himself present in the Eucharist -- body, blood, soul, and divinity. 2.) Yet another issue with semantics: The Eucharist does continue redemption as if it is a way for us be re-saved every Mass. We Catholic Christians have believed -- for 2000 years now -- that our salvation is justified through God's grace. Period. 3.) As for the Eucharist's meaning, we receive the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist while also acknowledging the grace we have *already* received. It is only when we fall out of grace that we must be restore this with God. We do that through the Sacrament of Reconciliation (going to Confession). All of this understanding is not only Biblical, it has 2000 years of a consistent Liturgy to back it up. Feel free to message me for what Catholic Christians actually believe, and not what Mr. Gendron, who appears to have been a poorly catechized Catholic, wants you to believe. It does not do any Christian any good to mispresent beliefs. After all, we all accept Christ as our Savior. It is more than time to separate fact from fiction and become more unified in how we discuss theological topics. Peace!

Vs 59, This verse shows that Jesus taught this discourse to all the people. Vs 60,They doubt a third time when many disciples said, "This is a hard saying, who can hear it"? The Jews were instilled by many Old Testament verses, admonishing them not to consume blood. See Deut 12:23, Lev 17:11and 14. They must have thought this was something akin to cannibalism. Is this what you think too? At any point did Jesus back down? Explain to me, if this chapter is symbolic, why did He not explain the symbolism to them? Vs 61, Jesus did not back down, for He said, "Does this offend you?" He knew their thoughts and He certainly knew the Old Testament verses about the consumption of blood. In the next verse, He separated spiritual things from earthly things. Vs 63*, Jesus said, "It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing. The words I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life." Did He say He was speaking figuratively or in parables? This is the second verse detractors use to try to "prove" that Jesus spoke figuratively for the whole chapter. Did Jesus say "My" flesh? No, He said "the" flesh. What Jesus had said was, that we cannot accept this mystery if we accept it in too human a way, by having an earthly view of things. Those who can only think of cannibalism, are they not having an earthly view? See John 3:6, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." Verse 63 means that we should not have a carnal human understanding of His words, but a spiritual understanding. In John, chapter 6, Jesus had not only called the 12 Apostles, there was also much larger group of other disciples. Things seemed to be going pretty well. That is until Jesus said “For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.” This was too much for many of his disciples and “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.” Jesus turns to the 12 and asks, “Will ye also go away? Simon Peter gives the same answer that I find myself saying to those who tell me I should leave the Catholic Church for this reason or that one, “Lord, to whom shall we go?” No matter what a certain priest does, no matter what scandals hit the church, despite whatever corruption or abuse of power might exist, and despite whatever mistakes the Church has made throughout history, “to whom shall we go?” for here is the body and blood of Christ given for a sinner as miserable as I. Matt. 26:26-28; Mark. 14:22,24; Luke 22;19-20; 1 Cor. 11:24-25 - Jesus says, this IS my body and blood. Jesus does not say, this is a symbol of my body and blood. Matt. 26:26; Mark. 14:22; Luke 22:19-20 - the Greek phrase is "Toutoestin to soma mou." This phraseology means "this is actually" or "this is really" my body and blood.😎😎
Well said. In John chapter 6, Peter replied Jesus, "to whom shall we go, you have the words of eternal life". Mike gave the impression that Peter did not agree with the literal understanding of Jesus' discourse that he is the bread sent down from heaven and that his followers are to eat him just like the Israelites ate manna in the dessert. Now, if Peter did not agree with it as a literal interpretation then he too agrees with the Jews who had left. But the fact is, that Peter did not leave because he still believed Jesus must meant something other than what the Jews understood. Peter knew the understanding of Jews was wrong. It is more than probable that Peter did not comprehend how Jesus will fulfill this teaching then but he believed Jesus' words are true and will be fulfilled when the right time comes. Mike's argument of what Jesus' followers were doing for about one and half years before the crucifixion? Were they gnawing Jesus' flesh? This reasoning reflects the dishonest mindset of Mike. It gives the impression that he is not interested in finding out the truth but is driven by the evil spirit to destroy the Catholic Church with false accusations. Mike propagates Sola scriptura. But he inserted words to the scripture. On the last supper Jesus took the bread and gave it to his disciples saying this is my body. But Mike says, this is symbolic representation of my body. Mike inserted the word symbolic to Jesus' words. He added words which made the sentence completely different and yet he claims his teachings are Sola scriptura. If he can tell lies and twist Jesus' words like this, is he even a Christian?
*Hard questions for Mike and Jane - if you want to Witness to Catholics, you need to:* - Show who in the first 1,500 years of Christianity interpreted scripture as you do, that the bread and wine in the bread of life discourse are symbolic or figurative only. - Explain how could Christendom have error'd so fast, so universally on this point? - Explain why one should follow the fallible gospel of Mike and not all of Christendom for those first 1,000 plus years? - Show who in those first 1,000+ years interpreted scripture as you do? Citations only please on every topic that you disagree with the Catholic Church. - Explain why one should not trust our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who said the Church is the Pillar of Truth, that the Church is the Bulwark of Truth, and that the Church is where the manifold wisdom of God is made known? - Explain how Jesus was undependable and that he lied when he said that he would lead his church to ALL truth? - Do you feel Jesus is not powerful enough nor faithful enough to mean what he said? - Admit that you are fallible - Admit that since you are fallible, you could be in error with your personal and fallible interpretation of scripture, and the Catholic Church right. - Explain how it is that you trust that your New Testament canon is right, when it was decided 100% by the 4th c Catholic Church, Catholic Bishops who would disagree with your interpretation of scripture repeatedly? - Explain how it is that you believe your Old Testament is right, when those 4th c Bishops said it was 46 writings? - How is it that you trust them to get the New Testament right, yet they error'd on the Old Testament - and they ALL celebrated the Mass which you reject? (note, there were no protestant churches at the time) So Jesus said to them, _“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; 54 he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him._ I'll trust the Word ... he's faithful .. and not the fallible gospel of Gendron.
Question for you. Years ago, I placed my faith in the blood that Jesus shed at the cross and have believed in Jesus according to Romans 3;25-26 and so now my Father in Heaven has declared me righteous. Why would I need to join a "Church" whose fathers teach me that even if I join this " Church" I can never know that I am saved from the wrath of God to come and then once I die I must go through who knows how years of Purgatory until all my sins are purged, and then I will finally experience Heaven forever? The gospel means "glad tidings/good news. This teaching of the Roman Catholic Church doesn't sound like good news to me.
@@markbennett7797 "Question for you." Hello Mark. Perhaps you too would answer the questions that I posed in my first post in this thread. "Why would I need to join a "Church" " Because Christ is it head now for 2,000 years, long, long before the Church of Gendron ever existed. The Church of Gendron has taken a Catholic book and has decapitated it from the faith from which it came. So too, the CoG even disagrees on how to interpret it with other protestants, which makes Jesus out to be undependable and a liar. Christ FAILED to lead his Church to ALL truth as he promised (Jn 16:13). Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses believe the same. There must have been a "great apostasy" right away and no one knew it, needing the CoG 200 years later to set things straight. That said, to have FAITH is to be FAITHFUL to all of what Christ commanded. When one reads the writings of this Church back in time, how scripture should be understood, one doesn't read many of the CoG beliefs. Not once, not anywhere in the world. So you join THE Church because of the truth it espouses, knowing Christ is its head, following him and the means he set up for salvation. "I can never know that I am saved from the wrath of God to come " You have infallible certitude that you are saved? Catholic's have exactly what scripture teaches, hopeful confidence, but not false assurance. "once I die I must go through who knows how years of Purgatory " A - When you die, you die in a state of sin and have an inclination to sin. B - Yet there is no sin in heaven and there is no inclination to sin. What do you call the process of the soul being transformed, from A to B ? There is indeed a process that soul - which does not die - goes through. Most protestants never, ever think about it as its too Catholic. Note, too, when we die, we are outside time and space we know it. Scripture, 1 Cor 3 is so very clear in alluding to purgatory. Those in hell can never be saved. Those in heaven can never suffer loss. It is speaking of another state of being after death. _For no other foundation can any one lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any one builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble-each man’s work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire_ Nearly 1,800 years ago, St Cyprian comments on this passage (Does the Church of Gendron know scripture better than St Cyprian?? No way!!). _“For to adulterers even a time of repentance is granted by us, and peace is given. Yet virginity is not therefore deficient in the Church, nor does the glorious design of continence languish through the sins of others. The Church, crowned with so many virgins, flourishes; and chastity and modesty preserve the tenor of their glory. Nor is the vigour of continence broken down because repentance and pardon are facilitated to the adulterer. It is one thing to stand for pardon, another thing to attain to glory: it is one thing, when cast into prison, not to go out thence until one has paid the uttermost farthing; another thing at once to receive the wages of faith and courage. It is one thing, tortured by long suffering for sins, to be cleansed and long purged by fire; another to have purged all sins by suffering. It is one thing, in fine, to be in suspense till the sentence of God at the day of judgment; another to be at once crowned by the Lord.”_ St. Cyprian, To Antonianus, Epistle 51 (55):20 (A.D. 253). St Cyril of Jerusalem too, before there was a bible as you have it today. _“Then we commemorate also those who have fallen asleep before us, first Patriarchs, Prophets, Apostles, Martyrs, that at their prayers and intercessions God would receive our petition. Then on behalf also of the Holy Fathers and Bishops who have fallen asleep before us, and in a word of all who in past years have fallen asleep among us, believing that it will be a very great benefit to the souls, for whom the supplication is put up, while that holy and most awful sacrifice is set forth. And I wish to persuade you by an illustration. For I know that many say, what is a soul profited, which departs from this world either with sins, or without sins, if it be commemorated in the prayer? For if a king were to banish certain who had given him of-fence, and then those who belong to them should weave a crown and offer it to him on behalf of those under punishment, would he not grant a remission of their penalties? In the same way we, when we offer to Him our supplications for those who have fallen asleep, though they be sinners, weave no crown, but offer up Christ sacrificed for our sins, propitiating our merciful God for them as well as for ourselves.”_ Cyril of Jerusalem, Catechetical Lectures, 23:9,10 (c. A.D. 350).
@@TruthHasSpoken Before I give you an answer as to why I am confident that I am saved from the wrath to come. I need to establish two things with you. (1) Do you believe that all the words written in the New Testament, that contain the 4 Gospels as well as all the letters written by the apostles are infallible? (2) Do you believe that the Apostle Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles and that the gospel that Paul preached and wrote about in his letters was the word of truth?
@@markbennett7797 1 - Properly speaking, scripture is both inspired and inerrant. Infallibility is a charism of the Church, to declare what is true (and false). 2 - yes. Aside from my first post questions, here are the questions that I asked above. Very simple questions below 1. You have infallible certitude that you are saved? YES OR NO 2. What do you call the process of the soul being transformed, from A to B ? A - When you die, you die in a state of sin and have an inclination to sin. B - Yet there is no sin in heaven and there is no inclination to sin.
@@TruthHasSpoken Hey TruthHasSpoken, To answer your first question which is "You have infallible certitude that you are saved? Yes or No My answer is Yes! I am confident that I am saved because I believe in the promises from my Father in Heaven that years ago after I heard the word of truth, the gospel of my salvation and then trusted in Jesus, I am saved from the wrath to come. Here are the promises that Paul wrote to believers in the Church in Ephesus once they trusted in Jesus Christ: Ephesians 1;3-13, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 that in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 in whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 that we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory" The Apostle Paul makes it very clear that once anyone who believes the word of truth, the gospel of their salvation and then trusts in Jesus Christ, that person is sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. And the Holy Spirit is the earnest, which in Greek means guarantee of our inheritance until Christ returns for us who are His purchased possession. Please also note that Paul states in verse 11 that those who believe in Jesus Christ have already obtained an inheritance from God. Paul received the gospel that he should preach directly from Jesus as he states in Galatians 1;11-12, "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." I recently heard a Catholic apologist state that there is no clear description of the gospel any where the letters of the apostles. Yet, this statement is not true. The Apostle Paul when writing to the believers in Jesus in Rome, he states in Romans 1;15, "So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also." Paul then goes on to define very clearly the gospel of the grace of God in Romans 3;21-26, "But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus." Paul states in verse 22 that "the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe"
I am still trying to find something in Catholicism that is contrary to biblical teaching ... Again Mike, the Transubstantiation is on (1 Corinthians 11:24-25) (John 6:53) (John 6:56) (Matthew 26:26) (+ 10 others !!) And Baptism is on (John 3:5) (+6 others) And Priests not marrying is on (1 Corinthians 7:32-35) Confession is on (John 20:23) (1 John 1:9) Last rites is on (James 5:14-16)
@@saintejeannedarc9460 moSt of them come down to not believing in the fiction of bible alone. As Jesus said to Peter whatever you bind on earth will be considered bound in heaven whatever you loose on Earth will be considered loose in heaven You are probably also confusing “ pray” with worship. And any theologian will tell you careful reading of Maccabee’s would lead you to understand the need for purgatory in Gods plan
@@1234poppycat I don't think I'm confusing praying w/ worship. Praying is communication and supplication to God. Praise is songs, psalms, lifting up holy hands unto God. I see no Need for purgatory. It takes away from Christ's all sufficient sacrifice for our sins. Takes away from the grace by which we're saved. Leaves people in a state of fear and insecurity. It also claims that we need to pay for our own sins, when the Word seems crystal clear that Jesus paid for our sins, fully and completely.
@@saintejeannedarc9460 another Protestant catch phrase that in your mind is a criticism of catholoicum but is not. For two thousand years the Catholic Church has been preaching Christ s sacrifice was that we can be saved from our sins. He has done enough but he has told us how to lead a Christian life. It is no good to say I don’t need to bother with that cos Christs sacrifice was sufficient
@@1234poppycat It's not about a criticism of Catholicism, it's a defense of the sufficiency of Christ's atonement. I don't think this can be a fruitful conversion. Thank you Lord that Catholics recognize the false teacher who is full of hate and believes himself to be authority even though you never authorized him to speak for your church.
I thought this man was ex Catholic? He must never have been the Rosary is the Angel Gabriels announcement to the Virgin Mary in St Luke's Gospel so is the Magnificat in St Luke's Gospel. Martin Luther said beautiful words about Virgin Mary. Greeks and Orthodox and some Anglicans say the Salutation to Virgin Mary.
@TruthHasSpoken *1. Then isn't it the same? The question is: Is Roman religion fallible or infallible in it's interpretation of scripture??* *2. Scriptures is infallible. @@sudandhali7545 that’s the equivalent of saying don’t have elders. Read your Bible! The Church has elders, always has had elders if you actually read the Bible you’d know this.

It always amazes me how people ignore the teachings of the Apostles. Particularly John, who was at the foot of the cross when our Lord was crucified. Perhaps the people most in need of the truth are the 10,000 or 20,000 or now 40,000 Protestant denominations who continue to multiply each year based on their own interpretation of scripture.
The ones blind are the ones who depend on the 'church' and its faulty 7 sacraments for salvation included with the Cults and all other false religions in this world, Catholicism with keeping the Bible from people is no different.
Sacramentalism is a hollow catholic invention. Just ask one of your graven images, they are there to help you. If Mary will stop crying for a minute, you can ask her graven image.
When a person is saved, he/she is "born again". That is the acceptance of the Gospel message of Salvation, believing in Jesus as Savior, and receiving the Holy Spirit. We move from being lost to saved, from a person of the world to being a Child of God. This is the gift of Grace from God...total justification, total forgiveness, total righteousness by the imputation of Christ's righteousness. This is all Scriptural truth. What more could we receive?
Jesus came way after Moses and therefore wasn’t in the “Ten Commandments”. If you never picked up a Bible until you were 35 Mike, that just means you were lazy Catholic.

Neither Protestant or Catholic is correct. The true church is anyone that follows the Bible exactly. Going to this church or that church won't save you.
He told , You are not saved under the Law Jews had 613 laws they had to keep. We are told Keep My Commandments The Commandments are always referred by name The Commandments.
If you don't trust the Catholic Church on what it believes and teaches, why would you trust the Catholic Church to provide you with the Bible that She compiled and finalized by the Magisterium at the Council of Carthage under the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the year 382 A.D., the one book you're basing your entire religion off of? And then, to have the gall to remove 7 of its books to justify your personal belief. Jesus established His One True Church with the Authority to TEACH His TRUTH, to INTERPRET Holy Scripture, and to distribute His Grace by way of the Sacraments, (also under the guidance of the Holy Spirit). He promised that His Church would exist until the end of the world. (Mat. 16:18) Mike Gendron and his followers are calling Jesus a liar by not accepting that fact; thus, he mocks everything that the Universal Church is and does. To mock the Church is to mock Christ. He continues to ignore theological explanations of what and why the Catholic Church has taught, believed, and practiced for the past 2,000 years; so, there is no excuse for his heresies. Pray for Mike Gendron and his misled followers for their conversion back to the True Church.
You are correct that Protestants REMOVED books from the Bible. I went to Catholic Church for 3 months. I studied and studied. I concluded on my own: penance is unnecessary, a person's fate is decided the minute they pass on (no amount of praying or indulgences will affect it). I can not definitively conclude 100% there is a purgatory OR not. I read the Catechism, it stated tradition holds equal weight with Bible scripture. Some traditions are ok, but it's not equal to the Bible. I concluded different people interpret the Bible scriptures in different ways....therefore the thousands of denominations.

Let me get this straight, the doctrine of Purgatory was invented in 596, but the Catholics used the Septuagint (late 200s BC) as their Canon Old Testament because it contained proofs for Purgatory, and the Canon was established in AD 382. So did they make the Canon because of Purgatory, or was the idea of Purgatory invented 200 years later? It can't be both.
Confusion comes from the author of lies. Christ never mentioned it nor did scripture. The term is catholic and should not be used. We need stick with what we are given in His Holy word not given by the man/ the Vatican.
How do you know that it was the non-believers that left?? It does not say that they were non-believers. And it's Jesus really literally didn't mean that we have to eat his flesh and drink his blood, why didn't he call these people back and explain to them what he meant?? He just left them walk away... this has always puzzled me...
The clarity that Jesus Christ gave is found in John 6:35,40,47. And a summation of His bread of life discourse is given in John 6:63. Please read those passages Susie.
It's another Jesus not the Biblical Jesus. The Lord Jesus Christ warned about that in Matthew 24 during His Olivet Discourse. DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY A RELIGIOUSLY CREATED EUCHARISTIC CHRIST. ITS BEST TO STICK TO THE BIBLE!!!
Not true Mary Dolan, I'm actually NOT ignoring the Bible, I'm just simply affirming what it says in Matthew 24 to contrast the false Christ that's being taught in the catholic mass which is NOT THE SAME AS THE BIBLICAL CHRIST.
Catholics worship man and follow man's traditions and hold the pope equal to scripture. Bible says put no trust in man. You pray to Mary and to dead saints which is called necromancy and is forbidden in scripture. We have ONE mediator and intercessor and that is Jesus Christ not Mary or dead saints. We are able to go to the Father by ourselves through Jesus and not go through a priest. Only God forgives us of sins not man. Bible says call no man father but your heavenly Father. Catholics have changed the 10 commandments, they changed the 2nd commandment where it says thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath,or that is in the water under the earth. Jesus said "IT IS FINISHED". You are saved by grace through faith and not of works lest any man should boast. Jesus is enough. I encourage you to actually open your Bible and read the entire word of God and not what the pope says or what your priest says but what does God say. It's about a relationship with Christ and not about religion, works and traditions of man. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Psalms 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save. Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Romans 1:25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. Isaiah 8:19 When they say to you, “Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should not a people consult their God? Should they CONSULT the DEAD on behalf of the living? Deuteronomy 18:10-12 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or ONE WHO CALLS UP THE DEAD. For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God will drive them out before you. Matthew 6:51-66 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. 54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. 57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. 58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. 59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. 60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? 61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? 62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? 63 It is the SPIRIT that QUICKENETH; the FLESH PROFITETH NOTHING: the WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, and they are LIFE. 64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Mark 7:5-13 5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? 6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. 7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. 9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. 10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: 11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. 12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; 13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Very well said, amazinggrace. It's very important to stick with SCRIPTURES ALONE, not to man made traditions such as doctrines of demons of the popes and bishops and priests. They're sinners like the rest of us. They need to repent of their sins and trust Jesus Christ alone as their LORD AND SAVIOR: NO SAINTS, NO MARY, NO ONE ELSE, BUT JESUS CHRIST ALONE.

Unless you eat My Flesh and drink My Blood you cannot have life in You and I will raise you up on the last day For MY Flesh Is Meat indeed and My Blood is Drink Indeed . Indeed means in reality.
THE LORD JESUS spoke NOT of eating His flesh and drinking His blood LITERALLY. This amounts to cannibalism and vampirism. THE LORD JESUS was revealing a spiritual TRUTH that you would believe in HIM and to remember HIS finished work on the cross, not reenact it. In John 6:63, HE summarized HIS BREAD OF LIFE discourse: IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE; THE FLESH PROFITS NOTHING. THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK TO YOU ARE SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE. Never forget the whole context.
The Roman Catholic Church is the Church Christ Himself founded. It’s the true church. I’m sad for any misguided Christian who has been misled and does not understand that.
Erin, All I certainly and definitively know that it's NOT the RCC religion as we know it today. Biblical and spiritual discernment is very needed in these last days. The church that the Lord Jesus founded and promised He will build in Matthew 16:18 that gates of hell will not prevail against it, is a body of born again believers and followers of Christ which were first called Christians in Antioch in the book of Acts: followers of the Way. We both know that THE WAY to heaven is only Jesus Christ.
These are the lies of the devil John 6 Unless You eat the flesh of the son of man and drink HIS Blood You have no life in You. Look up Eucharistic Miracles. JESUS wants to be united with physically. You don't go by the whole Bible. They walked with HIM no more. JESUS is the Lamb of GOD who takes away the sins of the world. Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of CHRIST.
Get Behind Me Satan! It does not matter how small the sins are, provided that their cumulative effect is to edge man away from the light and out into the nothing. Well if Jews can use tassels and knots to ponder on the word of God why can't Catholics use the rosary to remember the lord's prayer and the scriptures. I'll wait for your response.
He says Paul As glass is purified by fire so must we be purified. Before the Messiah came we are told souls of the dead were held in Shaol or Purgatory John's Gospel.
We are purified by trials the Bible is clear. The reason the souls were waiting for the sacrifice on the cross then they were released once sin was conquered on the cross.

How is he scattering the sheep? All true believers makes up the body of Christ. We are one church but worshipping at different parts of the world. RCC is just one of the apostate church which speaks the terminology of Christians on the surface but added so much Paganism rituals and dogmas into their doctrines. RCC are really not much different from JW and Mormons.

It’s scattering because many have the Holy Spirit but are not experiencing the fullness of faith and united within the original Universal Christian Church. Many don’t receive the Eucharist just as Jesus told us to do. This man is pushing people who believe away from the Catholic Church. That is wrong!
JOHN 6:53 et Al These comments were made by JESUS figuratively. If JESUS meant them literally HE would have cut a piece of HIS flesh ,bled into a cup And literally given them these things to eat and drink. Matthew 13:34 “All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:”
“I can do all things with a verse taken out of context.” Your attacks on Gendron are postured in ignorance and religious pride. You read one verse, not the Bible. You are trying to make that ONE verse fit into the Catholic Catechism. Is Jesus a Gate, is He a Vine, is He a Shepherd? No. Why not? John says He is all of these!! Because those with ears to hear and eyes to see can discern when Jesus is speaking in literal terms versus in spirit. Those who walked away when Jesus said to eat My body were Pharisees who could ONLY discern literally. God blinded them due to their religious pride. They could NOT discern spiritual teachings as the disciples could! Same as many do today when religion comes before studying the whole counsel of God. Your comments sound hostile and almost jealous toward Mike who has committed to speaking the Bible to those under the spell of the Vatican and it’s deception. @@danvankouwenberg7234 The Bible should be taken literally except when it commands a figurative, metaphorical or spiritual interpretation. The Holy Spirit is our guide. He gives us discernment to know the difference. One can’t discern if you don’t STUDY the Bible and only READ it. Jesus is the Gate by which we must enter through to gain eternal life. This is not literal and I’m sorry you aren’t leaning into the Holy Spirit as your guide to discern the Holy Word. If you think He’s a literal Gate or a literal Vine then there’s nothing to discuss until you seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
@@onlyimagine4 Dan did not use the term "Literal" He said ""of course he is a gate, a vine and a Shepard and the Word of God " You used that as a smokescreen as you lost the argument about Jesus speaking literally about his body and blood.. """ ... - He who does not drink my blood and eat my flesh has no life in him """ (appears in 14 scripture -- start with John 6 )
@@1234poppycat “Lost” the argument? Are we in some sort of competition whereby one side ‘loses’ and one side ‘wins?’ We’re talking about scripture and the Holy Spirit as our Helper (as Jesus gave Him this title) in guiding us “into all the Truth.” The Holy Spirit always “wins” (when we don’t minimize His power as man-centric religions do). By the way, Jesus is not a gate as Dan said He is. He is not a Vine as Dan says He is and He is not a Shepherd either as Dan says He is. He is a figurative Gate whereby we ‘enter’ through into eternity , a figurative Vine whereby we are the figurative branches ‘feeding’ off of Him as the Vine, a figurative Shepherd whereby He is our Guide and we are His followers as figurative sheep, and He is figurative Bread to be eaten off of as spiritual food, eternally. Jesus says He is “to be worshipped in Spirit as the flesh profits nothing.” The Old Testament is a foreshadow of the New one. God sent physical bread to the Israelites in the desert to sustain them temporally as physical nourishment. God sent The Bread of Life (Jesus) as spiritual nourishment in the New Testament that we are commanded to feed off of spiritually and eternally once we come (eat of Him) and believe (drink the blood). You are blinded to spiritual truths as the Pharisees were. This is why they walked away when Jesus spoke of eating His body and drinking His blood. They could not discern spiritually, only literally because of their pride and arrogance. God blinds those in unbelief. This is why Jesus spoke in parables now and then. Those who could ONLY see through a literal lens could not understand. Jesus did this to separate the wheat (true believers) from the tares (those in unbelief who only followed Him for free LITERAL food as the feeding of the 5,000). Your religion is focused on how humans can play a role in eternal salvation. There is an exaggerated focus in Catholicism on this Earthly, temporal world. This is why you have to touch, taste and feel Jesus as a wafer when He said He is to be worshipped in Spirit. Come out of her before it’s too late, my friend. 🙏🏻

If you read John 6 from verse 1 to 71, then you will see that 1) its not about communion, 2) Jesus was making an analogy between physical food needed for the body, vs spiritual food needed for the soul, and 3) Jesus is asking for the people to come to faith and believe in Him. There is nothing in the Bible about a "believer's baptism."
"Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior," or "Ask Jesus into your heart" isn't the biblical answer.
(For the teaching on venial (non-deadly) and mortal (deadly) sins, see 1 John 5:16-17)
What I must do to be saved:
*I must be baptized with water and the Spirit. Mark 16:16, John 3:3-5, Titus 3:5, I Peter 3:20-21. (Exceptions: [1] If I desire Baptism but die before I can be baptized with water and the Spirit, God accepts my desire to be baptized, and [2] If I am killed (martyred) because of my faith, but I have not had the opportunity to be baptized, God accepts my death as my baptism, called the Baptism of Blood).
* I must do the will of God the Father. Matthew 7:21
* I must keep the Commandments of God. Matthew 5:19-20, Matthew 7:21, Matthew 19:17, 1 Timothy 6:14, and others.
* I must accept the Cross (suffering). Matthew 10:38, Matthew 16:24-25, Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23, Luke 14:27. Phil 1:29, and others.
* I must be a member of God's true church. Acts 2:46-47.
* I must confess my sins. James 5:16, I John 1:9, John 20:19-23
* I must heed the words of St. Peter, the first Pope. Acts 11:13-14, Acts 15:7.
* I must eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus Christ. John 6:51-58, I Corinthians 10:16-17, 11:23-30.
* I must do unto others as I would have them do unto me and love my neighbor as myself. I must feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit the sick and those in prison or give other aid to those in need. Luke 10:33 ff, Mt 25:31-46. "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God" Hebrews 13:16. Good works don’t save us, but we will be judged by them.
*I must strive to be holy. "Strive for peace with everyone and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14
*I must endure (persevere) to the end. Matthew 10:22, Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13.
And ... ? What else must I do?

#432 The name "Jesus" signifies that the very name of God is present in the person of his Son, made man for the universal and definitive redemption from sins. It is the divine name that alone brings salvation, and henceforth all can invoke his name, for Jesus united himself to all men through his Incarnation, so that "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Nice copy and paste

And if I should have prophecy and should know all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I should have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:2 (St Paul).
This is exactly what Paul says in Titus 3:8: “The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works.”
By your stubbornness and impenitent heart, you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of wrath and revelation of the just judgment of God, who will repay everyone according to his works: eternal life to those who seek glory, honor, and immortality through perseverance in good works, but wrath and fury to those who selfishly disobey the truth and obey wickedness." The irony of this confusing teaching is that even Paul (who didn't actually witness John 6) proclaims, that NO ONE should receive the eucharist in an unworthy manner. And, so there were absolute silence from these accusers....Bam!
If you read 1 Corinthians chapter 11 carefully, Paul was talking about observing communion in a respectful manner. After all, it is about what Jesus did for us on the cross. Paul said:
"20 Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord’s Supper. 21 For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. 22 What! Do you not have houses to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and shame those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this? I do not praise you."
Now the word eucharist in not in Scripture, but Paul says in verse 27:
"27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord."
And so what are people consuming?
See 1 Corinthians 11 verse 26:
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.

Gendron is already off to a painfully wrong start:
1.) The priest does not "sacrifice Jesus as a victim..." when consecrating the bread and wine: The priest *re-presents* Christ's death and resurrection for our salvation.

Vs 61, Jesus did not back down, for He said, "Does this offend you?"
He knew their thoughts and He certainly knew the Old Testament verses about the consumption of blood.
In the next verse, He separated spiritual things from earthly things.
Vs 63*, Jesus said, "It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing. The words I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life."
Did He say He was speaking figuratively or in parables?
In John 6:63 Jesus summarizes His whole BREAD OF LIFE DISCOURSE. This concludes with faith in Him to have eternal life (v.35)
Exhaustive scriptual detail in one place on the Bread of Heaven. Thank ypu for putting this together.
Alleluia.

*Hard questions for Mike and Jane - if you want to Witness to Catholics, you need to:*
- Show who in the first 1,500 years of Christianity interpreted scripture as you do, that the bread and wine in the bread of life discourse are symbolic or figurative only.
- Admit that you are fallible
- Admit that since you are fallible, you could be in error with your personal and fallible interpretation of scripture, and the Catholic Church right.
(note, there were no protestant churches at the time)
So Jesus said to them, _“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; 54 he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him._
I'll trust the Word ... he's faithful .. and not the fallible gospel of Gendron.
@@markbennett7797 "Question for you."
Hello Mark. Perhaps you too would answer the questions that I posed in my first post in this thread.
"Why would I need to join a "Church" "
Because Christ is it head now for 2,000 years, long, long before the Church of Gendron ever existed.
"I can never know that I am saved from the wrath of God to come "
You have infallible certitude that you are saved? Catholic's have exactly what scripture teaches, hopeful confidence, but not false assurance.
"once I die I must go through who knows how years of Purgatory "
A - When you die, you die in a state of sin and have an inclination to sin.
B - Yet there is no sin in heaven and there is no inclination to sin.
If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire_
Nearly 1,800 years ago, St Cyprian comments on this passage (Does the Church of Gendron know scripture better than St Cyprian??

Before I give you an answer as to why I am confident that I am saved from the wrath to come.
Very simple questions below
1. You have infallible certitude that you are saved? YES OR NO
2. What do you call the process of the soul being transformed, from A to B ?
A - When you die, you die in a state of sin and have an inclination to sin.
B - Yet there is no sin in heaven and there is no inclination to sin.
@@TruthHasSpoken
Hey TruthHasSpoken,
To answer your first question which is
"You have infallible certitude that you are saved? Yes or No
My answer is Yes!
I am confident that I am saved because I believe in the promises from my Father in Heaven that years ago after I heard the word of truth, the gospel of my salvation and then trusted in Jesus, I am saved from the wrath to come.
Here are the promises that Paul wrote to believers in the Church in Ephesus once they trusted in Jesus Christ:
Ephesians 1;3-13,
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 13 in whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory"
The Apostle Paul makes it very clear that once anyone who believes the word of truth, the gospel of their salvation and then trusts in Jesus Christ, that person is sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. And the Holy Spirit is the earnest, which in Greek means guarantee of our inheritance until Christ returns for us who are His purchased possession. Please also note that Paul states in verse 11 that those who believe in Jesus Christ have already obtained an inheritance from God.
Paul received the gospel that he should preach directly from Jesus as he states in Galatians 1;11-12,
"But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. 12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ."
I recently heard a Catholic apologist state that there is no clear description of the gospel any where the letters of the apostles. Yet, this statement is not true.
The Apostle Paul when writing to the believers in Jesus in Rome, he states in Romans 1;15,
"So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also."
Paul then goes on to define very clearly the gospel of the grace of God in
Romans 3;21-26,
"But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 to declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus."
Paul states in verse 22 that "the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe"

And Priests not marrying is on (1 Corinthians 7:32-35)

How about purgatory, praying to Mary or apostles, treasury of merit, conditional states of grace as decided by the RCC?
@@saintejeannedarc9460 moSt of them come down to not believing in the fiction of bible alone.

I see Jesus very much alive in the Catholic church

It's another Jesus not the Biblical Jesus. The Lord Jesus Christ warned about that in Matthew 24 during His Olivet Discourse. DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY A RELIGIOUSLY CREATED EUCHARISTIC CHRIST. ITS BEST TO STICK TO THE BIBLE!!!

So true.
A Rosary Novena.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus
Matthew 23:9
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Psalms 146:3
Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save.
Exodus 20:4
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
Romans 1:25
For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Isaiah 8:19
When they say to you, “Consult the mediums and the spiritists who whisper and mutter,” should not a people consult their God? Should they CONSULT the DEAD on behalf of the living?
Deuteronomy 18:10-12
There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or ONE WHO CALLS UP THE DEAD. For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God will drive them out before you.
Matthew 6:51-66
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?
Mark 7:5-13
5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

The Holy Spirit always “wins” (when we don’t minimize His power as man-centric religions do).
Jesus says He is “to be worshipped in Spirit as the flesh profits nothing.”
The Old Testament is a foreshadow of the New one.

Yes He said it and I believe in what Jesus said because it's true, not how RCC interprets it through re-sacrificing Him daily through that which you call Mass. You need to read the book of Hebrews to understand that Jesus offered His body to be sacrificed ONCE, not daily.
@@ericevearitt3317 you can not see the way Jesus wants you to see and believe.. you are still using the hate preacher language “ re sacrifice Jesus” when I have already said it is joining in the same sacrifice Jesus made
So Mike you are save by preaching against Catholic church?
Call no man your father is so easy to explain. Simple ! No man who isn’t God in heaven or your earthly father
OR your father on earth..... Wheres that found in the Bible.
It not! And plenty of places in the Bible people are called Father. Abraham was called 7 times by Paul . Best you read your Bible , everything in context and that call no man father has nothing to do with Catholic Priest. Just bias propaganda
@@jgood3047 We catholics love calling homosexual pedophiles Father.
@@peterzinya1 not very original.
@@jgood3047 Of course its not original. But its true.
@@peterzinya1 So your catholic? Or just a flame throwing unoriginal out dated lier .
If you're going to trash my faith at least get your lies straight.
Gendron is right
Your fighting a loosing battle, He said it’s His body period and you can’t find any evidence to the contrary but assumed ideas.Bible interpretation should be looked at the same as a murder trial in a courtroom because when you interpret it could be the life or death of souls.
Poor Mike .. called out for all his lies but still continues to
Poor you
You stand to the darkness of catholic antichrist
Marlin you and all the poor souls trapped in this demonic false cult of Evangilicasm best start waking up and realize you all have been Lyed too There is only one Church founded by Jesus ,the Catholic Church not the 55,000 groups you have today all at odds with one another
Gendron's soul is in great danger, as is that of anyone who follows this flake. He knows little about Catholicism. He never did his homework !!
Mike you betrayed Catholic church as Judas betrayed Jesus.
Mike is either disingenuous or he is ignorant of what context means, per his eisegis or hopscotch of 1 Peter 3:21.
He was interpreting that verse 1 Peter 3:21 in light of other Scriptures. Keep that in mind sir!
Are you saying Jesus wasn’t telling the truth when He said this is my body? And are you saying that the Holy Spirit can’t change the host into His body through an ordained Priest,,
What he is saying is that Jesus did not say or mean what the CC says. No, the Holy Spirit can not change bread into Jesus's body! If you understood the old testament you would understand why. What you believe is NOT in the Bible. It is what a man-made religion states not what God says.
@@stever4181 Yep Jesus couldn't convince the crowd when he insisted " you must eat my flesh and drink my blood" Why did they take Jesus literally ?
@@jgood6088 Wrong, wrong, wrong!
The people all knew it was against levitical law to eat human flesh and drink blood as the pagans did. Which is exactly what you are doing!
@@stever4181 So shocking when Jesus said to "eat his flesh and drink his blood" Your so right , "Wrong , Wrong, Wrong!". What was Jesus thinking, did he say oh wait , I meant metaphorically. Pause, no, he doubled down didn't he ? Why did so many disciples leave after that pronouncement . Why did Jesus ask the remaining if they would leave also? You know the story, what was Peters response ?
@@stever4181 Nothing the Catholic believes or practices is unbiblical. The Church discerns explicitly or implicitly the Books of the Bible. You just have your man made opinion .
Plenty of resources if you dare to consider Catholic sources rather than disgruntled anti Catholic sources. Come on Now !
Does your church realize the RCC changed the 4th Commandment. You need to be aware that the RCC changed the solemnity of Sabbath to Sun-day. The true Sabbath is sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. Satan wants worship! Jesus said if you love me keep my Commandments. The 4th Commandment is the only one that starts with “remember “
The Christian day of worship occurred on the first day of the week before the Apostles all died out. Unlike you, I don't believe Jesus lied when He gave the Apostles the authority to bind and loose.
Lilith isn’t in the RC bible
Weak answer from John 6. Believe is stated 98 times in the gospel of John
Gendron set up his own organisation to benefit Gendron. The you tube video debate with Tim Staples 5 years ago showed his lies Gendron was found out. Jesus and the disciples did not lie to spread their faith in God .. Why do you think it OK for your hate preacher to lie about Catholicism?? He says "Catholics Worship Mary" The Catholic Catechism says ""Worship" is reserved for the Godhead alone (Father Son and Holy Spirit)"" He repeats this though corrected same with the Eucharist because there are large numbers who do not know the Bible and Catholicism and find it easy to fall for the glib one liner lies
****WARNING**** Matthew Broderick is a robot.
You yourself have rejected the Gospel of St Luke's Gospel Virgin Mary is to be honoured. The Rosary is the Angel Gabriels announcement to the Virgin .
Rather odd Rabbis are now reading MacCabees.
Works of your own means works done outside the grace of God in a state of sin.
The Word saved has a different meaning through the Scripture.
Scripture tells us Shortly after the Jews gain Israel the Perpetual Sacrifice will be removed and the Abomination of Desolation replaced therin then comes the end of time for the Gentiles for Salvation comes from the Jews got Israel in 1948 Jesus tells Imposters and Hirelings and Apostates take the Vineyard at the end time They did Vatican11. Salvation comes from the Jews means War at the end time of the Gentiles .
A Catholic that never read St Luke's Gospel give me a break.
Did the Philipina women find husbands?
So this guy against Catholics celebrating mass. The last supper Lord Jesus's Christ said do this in memory of me, changed bread to his body and wine to his blood. So obviosiously he is talking thru his hat. And doesn't scripture, a charlatan.
:32 second in and there is already and error. The Eucharist isn’t offered for the sins of the previous week. The Eucharist is offered as the one and only sacrifice of Christ on the Cross for all sins everywhere across all time. In the Eucharist is the same offering across time and space of the one offering of Christ on the Cross , which also by the way is united with that same offering of himself at the last supper. Catholics believe all three of these events in God’s mysterious providence are one and the same.
The Catholic Church was begun by Jesus (God), who always did the Father's Will. Anyone who doesn't want to belong to God's Church is in BIG TROUBLE. He only began ONE TRUE CHURCH, NOT 40,000.!!!
look up on youtube and see Mike debate his views .... the main debate starts at 8 minutes following a long introduction .... """Debate: Catholic vs Protestant Salvation vesves Justification Tim Staples vs Mike Gendron""" This was 5 years ago and Mike lost logically and scripturally and has never debated with a Catholic in a public debate since !!!!!!!!! So he knows the truth but carries this on to con more people !!
We Catholics have a proverb about one’s width of reading, depth of study, and height of understanding of the Bible and where this leads to: “Weak Catholics become Evangelicals; Strong Evangelicals become Catholics.”
Umm no
@@romandaigle455 the axiom I quoted can be proven yes and true by a person like you as I can sense you were Catholic before with no or weak knowledge of the Bible so you were easily misled and fooled by Evangelicals into their fold. Right now I can sense you’re a mediocre or weak Evangelical. Do not be afraid or embarrassed. Deepen your reading, study, and comprehension of the Bible and be a strong Evangelical. And welcome back home to the original, true, and full Christian church founded by Jesus himself, the Catholic Church.
I don't think so.. You have to better that that.. just quoting Charlie Kirk who's probably just as spiritually lost as Catholics are.
@@vanillacreem816 I don’t know who Charlie Kirk is. The quote is from John Bergsma in his conversion memoir, Stunned by Scripture: How the Bible Made Me Catholic. I invite you to take up the book and read it.
