No you were right. That type of singing is called kulning. It’s a type of singing that travels great distances and people used it mostly to call cows and sheep home.
I'm sure someone has already pointed this out, but the ''shapeshifter'' aka the beautiful woman who lured the men into the forest is called Skogsrå in swedish. In swedish mythology she's the protector of the forest but you don't wanna piss her off, haha. She's known for the hole in her back. She's one of my favorite mythical beings in our folklore. Anyway, absolutely loved watching this. You have a new follower!
That helps to explain why Tuva asked what he had done after he killed her as if he did something wrong, from our perspective she was evil but from the forests perspective I imagine the humans were harming it.
Skogsrå was a fascinating character and I wondered why I'd never heard of her before. I think Näcken was my favorite antagonist, though. I'm a sucker for a tragic story.

39 minutes in. Your voice is so mellow and soothing it really takes the edge off watching gameplay of a game like this. And I love your comments, wit, and humor. Much less stressful than some other Tubers. 🥰
It blows my mind how you're able to remain so calm and soothing through this. Even when you're scared its not like other people where they're screaming oblivion into your headset. I just saw you did a Amanda the Adventurer video and I'm SO bummed I watched a playthrough the other day right before you posted it... but who am I kidding I'm gonna watch it anyway lol.
as a Norwegian who grew up with a lot of these fairytale monsters and stories, I'm so excited for what this game has to offer. (I'm writing this before watching the video, duh)
I really shouldn't have tried to watch this at work. The part where he acts like a tour guide on a fieldtrip through the beartraps had me rolling! My coworkers came to check on me. 🤣
The pinecone characters are something we used to make back in time instead of dolls, I remember my grandmas mother telling me how to make them when I was younger, on our island we own in Sweden.
I wad wondering when that song would make an appearance, honestly. Always one of my favorite classical songs, even as a kid listening to midi files of it randomly online haha.
Don't know if anyone has commented on it, but those aren't pumpkins, they are hjortron. A delicious berry which are pretty hard to find but very delicious! Went picking with my grandpa once, in sweden we make jam out of them, heat the jam up and eat it with vanilla icecream 🥰 Love your voice btw, very calming 😊
In the segment where you walked through the burning forest with the murdered witches you can see the old lady with the rake at one point walking in the woods and it got me so anxious when you didn’t see it 😂😂 I was like huuuuuh Morph? Morph?! Don’t leave me alone with this information 😬
Swedish translation of the game. At 1:03:10 the beautiful song played, is named “Den blomstertid nu kommer”, it´s a summer psalm and it is very well known to every Swede, as it usually plays at every end of school year before summer break. Although it’s more of a “normal” song today, than a religious one. For me, this song just makes me warm and only reminds me of the excitement of summer, to play outdoors and basically live in a similar nature as to the game, except for all the fables. But I did hear of them as a child from my parents. At 2:23:56 the text on the wall says “Straffet väntar hädaren och prygel dårens rygg”, which in direct translation would be, 'Punishment awaits the hypocrite and flogging of the fool's back'. It derives from what is called in Swedish as ”Ordspråksboken", (Eng: the book of proverbs), it is an old testament book of 'wisdom literature' and consists of six smaller collections, containing wise sayings and 'rules of life' that show how to righteous life. I´m not sure of the context in this game but considering she´s in a chair with some crank into the back, I assume she´s the hypocrite. At 2:44:50 I think it´s actually an Easter egg, referring to a famous Swedish humor group called Grotesco, who made a sketch called “1 kilo mjöl”, (Eng: 1 kilo of flour). If you look at the set up, it does remind of an old styled grocery store, as in the sketch. I put the link here if anyone is interested: th-cam.com/video/AQIxZMUWUpU/w-d-xo.html Fun fact, the same group made a satire of Russian stereotypes in 2009, which put Sweden in the hot chair but really, I loved it! th-cam.com/video/e1ozCWyUlCg/w-d-xo.html
That nymph thing you fought in those 3 stages was not the witch or baby killer. She was the one who led all the men to there doom from the town or village or whatever that you later visited. She’s kinda like a siren but like a land one lol. Also the old lady you face later with the rake caused the plague that turned everyone that was left in the village into basically zombies.
@@MadMorph you don’t ever encounter her apart from when you were trying to follow her and save the baby and failed. Whatever she was trying to do she succeeded and I guess did her last sacrifice and killed herself too. She was trying to make sacrifices to like become some kinda demon like thing but we never see what happened with that. Because yea the water nymph thing was not the witch. And I don’t believe the old lady with the rake was either. They were separate beings and threats that had terrorized a town for ages
No your referring to the creature that was in the water playing the violin and I’m not talking about him. As I mentioned in my comment I’m referring to the creature he faces that has 3 phases. The female seductive nymph like thing that Ole encounters and stabs in the back where her heart was with Courage that turned into a holy blessed looking sword. That creature was the one that led men from the village to there doom posing as a beautiful woman to lure them into the forest where she killed then gruesomely to get there hearts and gain more power from them. The witch that killed the baby is never shown again. She was a normal human like being apart from her dark magic after she sacrificed the baby she killed herself it seems. She was meaning to transform herself into some powerful being but I don’t think it worked lol. Because she was not the female nymph thing he fought. She had existed well before anything the witch ever did. So either that random encounter could be like a tease to maybe a threat for the next game or it was just some random crazy witch you encountered who believed she would gain power and a new body by sacrificing babes to some unknown entity but nothing comes of it.
@@shannonmichael4773 Uh...you do fight the witch, the one with the skull mask on their face...thats the witch, their name quite literally translates to "Swamp Witch"
Also moved me to tears when you walk through the trail of “witches” murdered out of fear. You were right - It did really happen historically, Morph. Different context and in several countries of course but it did.
Truly an amazing game and gameplay. I loved each part of it. Never in my life have I thought that with my adhd attention span I could sit for 3 straight hours watching someone play. Yet here I am, finished the whole video almost without skipping (almost) , but it truly was an incredible experience. The narrators voices and yours were like that of a sirens luring singing. No exaggeration in the reactions, just a soothing guiding sound. I was hypnotized by the beauty of both the graphics and storytelling. The ending brought a tear in my eye. Man how I love folklore. The simple yet complex story told by generations. Could say you successfully hypnotized me to subscribe !!!❤ love and support for now one of my favorite creators
personally love the violin guy segment and the final boss.. great use of the music and timing the boss fight and attack to the song. can say it isn't easy thing to do.. but the devs did it masterful here. always find it fun when game devs use the actual in game music as well as the spund effects to ad layers to attacks. combat is largely a dance and has a tempo, so devs making use of that always makes me happy.
This really is the essence of Sweden. The song "den blomstertid nu kommer" always brings a tear to my eye. Reminds me of all the summer term/semester ending ceremonies where we sing that one.
I will have to check out your sleepy time bits. I love your kind and genuine reactions playing anything. I have qyite severe PTSD. You helped me sleep during a 3 day windstorm that set me off hard even though I knew there was nothing to it. You single-handedly saved me from a manic episode. Gotta catch up now on all the bits I peacefully slept through My champion 💜
I was wondering why the song at 1:03:10 sounded so familiar! As a Finnish person recognized the melody as "Suvivirsi", but with a little googling I'm not at all surprised that it's Swedish in origin, goes by the name "Den blomstertid nu kommer". Both versions sing about summer coming, and it's usually sung at the end of school year to celebrate the coming summer holidays! The Swedish name translates to 'Now the time of blossoming arrives', while the Finnish name roughly means 'Summer hymn' or 'song of summer', 'Suvi' being a synonym for 'Kesä', meaning summer.
Ladies and gentlemen, we found it. The best boss music. For real though, this game had me speachless! It was gorgeous, it was symbolic, it was an ode to norse mythology and a beautiful expirience that had me clutching my heart.
Mythology and Fiction Explained does an amazing video on Scandinavian folklore, which explains a fair few of the creatures in the game, well worth a watch 😊 great video as usual mm 😁
I'm a couple of months late, but I wanted to say your voice is surprisingly peaceful for a horror game playthrough and I'm here for it. Also, wanted to explain some of the inspiration behind some of the things in this game: The Light Stone: it is literally the Spark of Courage. Olle loses it when he loses his sister, but after having survived his first night in Bramble, he gains a little bit of confidence. Aristotle's virtues and vices say that excess courage is rashness, which Olle exhibits when he fights the Skogra, stabbing her relentlessly with little thought to the consequences. He falls back to cowardice and has to regain his confidence when he fights Pesta. Nacken: based off of a nixie, or water spirit, specifically the Nokk from Nordic folklore, who plays songs on an enchanted violin to lure women and children to drown in the lakes. Not all were malevolent, as some stories just had them play music for others for entertainment. Tuva: based off of Helge Kjellen's fairytale Skutt the Moose and Princess Tuvstarr. Also based off of John Bauer's painting Princess Tuvstarr gazing down into the dark waters of the forest tarn. Only in image and name. Karrhaxen: the midwife in the swamp, themed after a Slavic house spirit called Kikimora. Kikimora were spirits created from tragic deaths (women and children only). Not all were evil and were actually known to help in the household, but the ones that originated from the swamps were evil. These kikimora were women who killed themselves, women who succumbed to the influence of demons, children who died unbaptized, and stillborn babies came back as kikimora. Specifically, the women would return with animal like features, like goat horns and glowing eyes while the children returned as black spirits. Skogsra: based off the Scandinavian forest spirit, hulder. Specifically called the Skogsra. They are described to be beautiful women with the tail of some animal, usually a cow, and a hollowed out tree like back. Draugr: nordic zombies. That's it. Pesta: the plague hag, brought about as a personification of the Black Death. When in town, if she brought her rake, some would survive, passing through the teeth of the rake. If she brought her broom, all would die. King Nils: loosely based off of Dovregubben, the troll king in the Norwegian play Per Gynt, from which the song In the Hall of the Mountain King originated from, specifically during the scene in which Peer Gynt flees Dovregubben and his trolls.
Thanks for the kind words! I love looking at the inspirations behind fictional things and Nordic fairytales are some of my favorites! Any chance to do obsessive research, I will take it.
I loved this game. Most of the pictures reminded me of an artist - especially the scene with Tuva (blonde girl sitting at a lake) and after looking it up, I remembered correctly. It was John Bauer, a Swedish artist. They took many of his pictures for the ones on the wall in the children's room and in the library. Also the whole mood and colouring of the game reminded me heavily of his wonderful drawings. Do look him up if you want to check out his awesome world.
Yesssssss! Perfect timing. I was about to go to bed in a fairytale mood after watching "Come Away", and was intending to look for a fairytale on Down To Sleep, but this will do nicely 🤭
Only child but married into a family where I now have three brother-in-laws and it's the best. It's such a nice feeling to go from feeling alone to feeling like someone has your back. Amazing playthrough, as always!
I lost my 26-year-old brother about a month ago, unexpectedly... We were always close, much like the siblings here. As a sister, this was both beautiful and difficult to watch, thank you for sharing it ❤️
I am so so sorry Alida. There is nothing to be said that will make that okay- it is senseless to lose someone like that, at 26. I hope you are doing better each day. I hope your memories are remaining strong. I don’t know you, but I am sending you love.
Great video aside, this was so fun for me. I'm from Norway and my name is Ole, and my grandma was actually nicknamed Lillemor, to the point where people often didn't know her given name.
To the question with siblings: i have an older sister who is sadly moving away at the end of next month. We "fight" and argue a lot as most siblings do but in the end we both know we'll have each others backs. Also this looks amazing! I never got to watch thr Demo but now seeing the full game makes me Very excited
Ahhh the chapter with the zombies gave me a nervous breakdown! Such a good game. im swedish and recognised a lot of the characters and the tales. Also it said 1 KG flour. Well played.
i just wanted to say that your voice is very soothing and helped me get through my work day between it and my love of folklore . i appreciate you muchly and I hope you have many happy returns
Props to the sound design and scoring team. Not easy to create actual fear and suspense without/with the use of sound (and without relying on constant jump scares at that). Amazing work, this is a gorgeous game.
I've been excited to watch you play this since the demo! Love the folklore and art style in this game 😍 Somehow it kind of makes me feel nostalgic. Maybe because I read so many nordic children's stories as a kid.
10 min in and this game is SO beautiful. The voice acting. The character movements. The music. The vibes. Idk how it’s goin to go midway, but so far I am in love.
I have 4 little brothers I'm the oldest and only girl, this game is absolutely beautiful and the creatures in this game are awesome I got to read about these monsters, I love your voice you need to narrate stories 😊
Not sure I love the Skogsrå in this. She simply the guardian of the forest and the animals. Treat her right and her domain right and you might get rewarded with luck in hunting, foraging or forestry. She might take you as a lover and if you are unfaithful she can cause bad luck for hunters, foresters and wanderers. Then again, we might view this from the perspective of a frightened child who, like you Mr Morph, though her to be a witch 😉 I do love our folklore though, and I thoroughly enjoyed this video. If you want more Sweden then Unraveled is you next game 😃
Maybe her turning evil is part of the corruption because she is closely related to nature and was affected by the kings doings at least, that is how I saw it. Just like the flower who was meant to do good was used for evil in the end.
Thanks for your walktrough, really nice to watch. I like that you're so calm. The artwork you see and comment on in the kids room and the library are from a swedish artist named John Bauer, I love his work. Also the segment with the blond girl Tuva is inspired from one of his works - Tuvstarr. You should really look it up! :) My favourite thing from the game though were all the white flowers. They're called vitsippor (wood anemone) and they are one of the biggest signs of spring here in Sweden fore they grow everywhere here right now, and it's truly beautiful. (I'm a bit bummed out that they mixed them with hjortron (cloudberries) that typically grow in the autumn. ;) But fun either way!)
This game is amazing. i am not good at games that are intense and more of a cozy gamer. i really enjoy lets plays like this and watch it like a movie. i can experience those masterpieces too somehow. :)
This was amazing. Extremely spooky but I really enjoyed the play through you did. Thank you for this game. Also good job on no deaths. Zero death morph can be your nickname.
Loved the playthrough. As always, Morph, I'm delighted you continue introducing me to new and unusual (especially foreign) experiences! Little Nightmares games are in a category all their own to me, but it was just as good story wise, and more stunning visually, in some ways. And so accomplished! Doing it all in one seamless, deathless playthrough. ;) I was saddened, greatly, by the death of the shapeshifter. Tuva also seemed to indicate that this was a SAD THING, that, perhaps, shouldn't have been done? There weren't any real repercussions (other than regret) for doing so... still. Sadness. Perhaps because the shapeshifter (aesthetically) was presented more as a nature being (branches growing from head, greenish skin). Like... the land just beyond where she was killed (and turned or was covered in moss?) was blackened, scorched -- a wasteland. The opposite ambiance to the area leading up to the confrontation with the shapeshifter. *sighs* Maybe it's just me. I think (and have pondered the same in the past)... that maybe that's a common motif for Scandinavian folklore to be emotionally/morally ambivalent about their "monsters", or myths. I felt the same way watching the Witcher 3 promo advert about Geralt killing the vampire in the barn ( th-cam.com/video/jRqz14Vgs08/w-d-xo.html ). Felt an amount of sorrow for the vampire's death. I think mostly because of the way it was framed. Thanks again for a marvelous, flawless, thoroughly enchanting journey, through a magical game I wouldn't even have known existed were it not for yourself.
The story book said the shapeshifter killed men and hung them on trees and used their beating hearts. 2:11:34 When Olle fought her, there were beating hearts on the trees. She attacked Olle. She's evil, and Olle needed to defend himself. Why are you sympathetic for evil villains? Is it just because you like the way she looks?
@@user-gu9yq5sj7c *scratches head* I'm pretty sure the fight between poor Olle and the shapeshifter was -unavoidable- . That being, there would be no way to progress in the game without the confrontation, and death, of the shapeshifter. So, mechanically, the game agrees (on many levels) that this was a creature to be vanquished. Also, in the very next part of my statement, I say I felt sorry for the vampire, and speculate it was because of the way the cinematic framed the encounter with Geralt. The character's femininity, voice or level of modesty had literally nothing to do with my reaction. Which was, in this instance, sadness, moreso that the confrontation was unavoidable. If something attacks you, unprovoked, you defend yourself. I was trying to find meaning in Tuva's comment, "Olle, what have you done?" Olle himself seemed to feel a measure of regret for the death. Or perhaps his regret was related to his own brutal response? Evil is a perspective. I'm a writer. We spread our empathy around.
Actually, in actual swedish folklore, the Skogsrå (which means forest guardian) is someone who does lure away men but also is connected to nature and if treated well (or if a man discovers the hole in her back before it´s too late) she let´s them go and may even bring good fortune! Their reason behind killing the men before is a part of their nature and the men may have also started disrupting the peace in the forest which caused them to hunt the men.
@@snybies Thank you so much for explaining! I really appreciate (in this case, you sharing the name of the creature in question so I could continue to satisfy my curiosity) learning new things -- especially myths, legends and folklore from different cultures. The Skogsrå is fascinating.
I have a younger brother so I'm the older sister 😊 I just started watching the playthrough, but I can relate to the dynamic already. I've always felt protective of my little brother no matter our increasing age. Excited to see where this goes! Edit: What an amazing game! The cinematography, the scares, the ambiance in combination with the music and story 👌✨️ just so good! Thanks for taking us along Morph!
This was amazing! I love seeing parts of my culture being portrayed in games I really appreciate that they didn't tone down the fear and dark side of those stories The little gnomes/nisse and the hjortron/cloudberry children were so cute I was really hoping that the Näcken would have come out of the water with a Näckros/Water Lily on his head Kinda disappointed that the Huldra/Skogsrået didn't have a foxtail, but she was wonderful none the less
@@Fivreld Yeah in Sweden they are as well, but they also have horse tails and fox tails Personally I'm more familiar with seeing them with a fox tail 😊
@@shootingstarmolly oOoOoO how cool !! i just double checked some Norwegian sources, and apparently they can also be depicted with a horse tail here. but it doesn't mention a fox tail, so i guess that's mainly a Swedish folk belief. do you also have that hulder/huldra can have a hollow back?? i've kind of heard of that one, but i'm more familiar with the belief that they'll have a back that looks like a rotten tree stump haha
@@Fivreld True! Skogsrå is the Swedish counterpart of the Huldra They have similar hollow backs as well, with mushrooms and/or flowers growing out of it Basically the same as the Huldra, the only real difference is the fox tail I think the cow tails and the horse tails look really good to💖 It's interesting how countries so close together can still interpret similar myths so differently For an example: Näcken plays the violin, harp, accordion or a flute depending on where you are from
55:53 if you have subtitles on when he said “No children were harmed” the subtitles didn’t pick up the “no” and it just say “children were harmed”😂😂😂😂 great video though
Thank you, great gameplay, but in general gotta laugh that the trolls, having tonns of meat from giant pigs and deer falling into traps, resort to chasing down a bony tiny boy, essentially an insect lol in reality they would be like, bet, tiny human, respect and good luck, want some pork?
I LOVED this playthrough. I saw the demo playthrough on YT and was wsiting for the full one. The artstyle and Nordic folklore was awesome. Some of the bad characters put me in mind of the Krampus folklore. Thank you for putting up this video. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hoping the studio does more like this. The Finnish Kalevela would be a great source for another game
I'm gonna leave it on in the other room with the sound off so you get a long view off the start though❤ i did hear the first couple minutes. Can't wait.
The painting on the wall is from a real life artist from Sweden (Jönköping) john Bauer and he painted allot of trolls, and he died with his family in the water outside of Jönköping (his home town in Sweden)
I just found out about this game like a minute ago and I absolutely loooove all of it! I love the atmosphere and I mean I am Swedish so I’m a bit proud and so excited so see something that I can recognise from my childhood ( mostly about the mythology ). Seeing Swedish names like Lillemor was very cool because I’m not used to see that in English speaking games and whatnot. Anyway I’m really looking forward to see where this will go ✨
That was amazing! Completely blew away my expectations from the demo, and I thought the demo was pretty neat. Really makes me want to read up on all the folklore. Man, I was like, it's too late to start this 2+ hour D&D campaign episode...let's play something short on youtube...and of course I make the mistake of clicking on this video.
Amazing game, there are some janky parts and a few bugs left, but overall phenomenal atmosphere and lore. Loved your playthrough thank you for sharing your experience
Wow! The fact you managed this without being killed by bear traps, wicked beasts of folklore, and the scary ending boss fight even once! Such a pro gamer. 👏 Lol, Really though, i never had such a huge spectrum of emotions when watching a gameplay. From innocent wholesome feelings, to frustration with the sister's blind sense of adventure, to sudden real fear, terror, intense panic, feeling smart figuring out puzzles alongside your gameplay, hope, dispair, sadness, joy, and relief. All while admiring the beautiful and horrors of art within the game. Thank you for sharing this, honestly it held me all the way through and.... for some odd reason after seeing some kaleidoscope art I found the video like and me subscribed...odd. Well, can't argue. You've become one of my new favorites to watch. Can't wait to catch up on past videos and enjoy what future uploads you have to share!

No you were right. That type of singing is called kulning. It’s a type of singing that travels great distances and people used it mostly to call cows and sheep home.
in a fairytale perspective, it’s like when peter pan calls out to the lost boys which is ironic bc neverland has sirens
Olle literally went from being scared of bedtime stories to killing terrifying monsters to get to his sister.

Thats so cool! I love greek mythology I am definitely going to look into swedish mythology
Skogsrå is such a cool name, in Norwegian I think we call it huldra
I wasn't the only one nearly tearing up on the hedgehog swimming sequence was I? Absolutely beautiful. This isn't a game. It's a work of art.

39 minutes in. Your voice is so mellow and soothing it really takes the edge off watching gameplay of a game like this. And I love your comments, wit, and humor. Much less stressful than some other Tubers. 🥰
Right omg
So I've been stuck in the final witch fight for months. I keep rewatching Morph and he just breezes through like it's nothing. Very frustrating.

Wow, leave it to morph to not die even once in the whole playthrough! Amazing
The pinecone characters are something we used to make back in time instead of dolls, I remember my grandmas mother telling me how to make them when I was younger, on our island we own in Sweden.
I honestly enjoyed watching the whole walkthrough of the game, reminds me so much of my childhood and stories I were told
I was reminded so much of Fran Bow with the little pinecones :)
Oh dang, that Hall of the Mountain king song playing during the King's battle? Amazing~ gave me chills and a big grin. They killed it!
I wad wondering when that song would make an appearance, honestly. Always one of my favorite classical songs, even as a kid listening to midi files of it randomly online haha.
It was amazing
Don't know if anyone has commented on it, but those aren't pumpkins, they are hjortron. A delicious berry which are pretty hard to find but very delicious!
Went picking with my grandpa once, in sweden we make jam out of them, heat the jam up and eat it with vanilla icecream 🥰
Love your voice btw, very calming 😊
ahh i thougth they looked kind of like berries !! sound delicious
I definitely need to visit sweden
I put the link here if anyone is interested: th-cam.com/video/AQIxZMUWUpU/w-d-xo.html
Fun fact, the same group made a satire of Russian stereotypes in 2009, which put Sweden in the hot chair but really, I loved it!
th-cam.com/video/e1ozCWyUlCg/w-d-xo.html
I think you are right about the flour
thank you for the translation !! this is very thoughtful and helps me have a deeper understanding of the game !!
Oh. So where is the witch!?!?!?
AKA Hulder/Huldra ?!
@@shannonmichael4773 Uh...you do fight the witch, the one with the skull mask on their face...thats the witch, their name quite literally translates to "Swamp Witch"

Music had no right being that good on the boss fight. What a fantastic game. Great commentary as well!

You're right. Is this made by Swedish developers?
@@joakimberg7897 Yes, it's made by Dimfrost Studio, which is a Swedish company.

Also, wanted to explain some of the inspiration behind some of the things in this game:
The Light Stone: it is literally the Spark of Courage.
Thank you, this is so interesting to read😄
Thanks for the kind words! I love looking at the inspirations behind fictional things and Nordic fairytales are some of my favorites! Any chance to do obsessive research, I will take it.
I loved watching you play this when it was in its demo stage! So glad you are playing it!
Can’t believe I watched this whole thing. Not saying I regret it, I’ve just never watched someone play a video game before. It was so entertaining!
Yesssssss! Perfect timing. I was about to go to bed in a fairytale mood after watching "Come Away", and was intending to look for a fairytale on Down To Sleep, but this will do nicely 🤭

Beautful world. I loved everything about the demo. Who better than you for this game playthrough? Yess, thanks 💖
Then again, we might view this from the perspective of a frightened child who, like you Mr Morph, though her to be a witch 😉
I do love our folklore though, and I thoroughly enjoyed this video.
If you want more Sweden then Unraveled is you next game 😃
Maybe her turning evil is part of the corruption because she is closely related to nature and was affected by the kings doings at least, that is how I saw it. Just like the flower who was meant to do good was used for evil in the end.
Your voice is so relaxed, feels like an ASMR actually
Great gameplay man!

Loved the playthrough. As always, Morph, I'm delighted you continue introducing me to new and unusual (especially foreign) experiences! Little Nightmares games are in a category all their own to me, but it was just as good story wise, and more stunning visually, in some ways. And so accomplished! Doing it all in one seamless, deathless playthrough. ;)
I was saddened, greatly, by the death of the shapeshifter.

Skogsrå is the Swedish counterpart of the Huldra
They have similar hollow backs as well, with mushrooms and/or flowers growing out of it
Basically the same as the Huldra, the only real difference is the fox tail
I think the cow tails and the horse tails look really good to💖
It's interesting how countries so close together can still interpret similar myths so differently
For an example: Näcken plays the violin, harp, accordion or a flute depending on where you are from
In my part of Sweden with stories from either from Norrland or Skåne, grandma depicted her as having a hollow back, no tail. And very beautiful.

Started watching someone play this and wasn’t interested. You turned it into an enthralling play through 🖤 thank you
I'm gonna leave it on in the other room with the sound off so you get a long view off the start though❤ i did hear the first couple minutes. Can't wait.
43:05 "you see what you did?" this is so funny TvT
The soundtrack alone was amazing. 💜💜
I just got here and WOW... YOUR VOICE IS JUST MAGNIFICAT
I loved this game so much! Definitely well worth a replay.
i havent watched the whole video but i love the commentary so far lol !! ur voice is so soft and rlly fits the vibe of the game
The painting on the wall is from a real life artist from Sweden (Jönköping) john Bauer and he painted allot of trolls, and he died with his family in the water outside of Jönköping (his home town in Sweden)
Final boss is _all_ about timing. It was tough, but so, so much fun!
Anyway I’m really looking forward to see where this will go ✨
The “weee” at 1:23:05 killed me 😂
That was amazing!
2:31:16 lady with the rake in the background, she wasn’t there when you went in the house before 😨
Great spot omg
i love how the whole time hes fighting skogsra ( aka the on land siren) morph is flirting
You always choose inusual games to play, I really enjoy your relaxing voice while you're playing ! 😊
crying laughing at the poor little gnomes running into the bear traps 🤣
Amazing game, there are some janky parts and a few bugs left, but overall phenomenal atmosphere and lore. Loved your playthrough thank you for sharing your experience
what a beautifully made game. There needs to be more games like this
AHHHH I really wanna watch, but I can't, cause I'm waiting to play it myself! I will watch the video when I'm done myself, can't wait!
Me too! I went from insane excitement to being like noooooooo 😢
Wow! The fact you managed this without being killed by bear traps, wicked beasts of folklore, and the scary ending boss fight even once!
Such a pro gamer. 👏
Lol, Really though, i never had such a huge spectrum of emotions when watching a gameplay.
